While the traditional ranks are still preserved, new military ranks have worked out to a simplified hybrid of the imperial system
This " simplification" simply means some of the 'fluff' ranks were cut, or combined in order to boost the ability to perform ICly in more operations, and faster ability to climb ranks to fill places in higher commissioned situations that need filled, and to better " spread out" our IC presence in RP's more readily
In a nutshell: It's not fair if 90% of our military affairs hinge on three or four individuals while everyone else mostly just sits and watches. Everyone should be able to have some ability to RP that actually utilizes everyone.
There are also plans to look into further utilizing small craft scenarios such as fighters, convoys, and other positions where lower ranking officers would hold command.
The ranks will fall as such: more details can be found in the official rank description
Orange= shared title, Green= army, Blue= Navy
Ensign/Private
Corporal ( Army only)
Sergent (Army only)

Lieutenant
