But we aren't completely sure if those are the laws of physics, we just think so. 1,000 years ago, people thought that heavy things fell faster than light thing because Aristotle said so and it seemed to make sense. So, Einstein might be wrong.

The currently held scientific belief is that acceleration to the speed of light is impossible. That is because the faster you go the harder it is to accelerate more. Actually moving at the speed of light is theoretically possible however it would require hundreds of technological advances before we can begin to consider it.

Yes, traveling at the speed of light is not possible. Why do I know this? Because common beliefs are always proven right! I mean, we all know that the Earth is flat, we all know that we can't travel at the speed of sound and we all know that we can't level an entire city with a single bomb!

Clearly that's sarcasm. I'm not saying that traveling at the speed of light is possible. What I am saying is that we shouldn't discount it as impossible.

Seeing something is only possible when light is reflected against an object and picked up by the eye, correct? Now, I had this convo with one of my drivers the other week, although it was about time travel and not traveling at the speed of light. His theory is quite an interesting one... technically if you are traveling faster than light you will get a delayed image because or an image that was reflected back at a previous time, hence you are time traveling... I then pointed out to him that although these images of light would be delayed, some of the images may have moved and therefore you would not be able to interact with them. Now, if you were traveling faster than the speed of light with a destination, looking forward, you would see a reflection of light coming towards you... however, if you look at objects that you are moving away from, you would see nothing. Hmmmmmmmm...
