It really depends on where you want to take the Character. There are quite a few sects with their own preferences in regards to being an actual monk, and of course you could stay non-denominational. Honestly, I'm open to where you think he should be at the start, within reason, of course.

DESCRIPTION
Originally designed as a weapon of the Huntsmen Militia, a group on the boarders of the new Sith Empire operating as a band of vigilantes and scoundrels. The weapon functions as two blasters merged into one, with a single vibroblade to separate the two, making it deadly up close and at range.

The Militia believed that the empire could only be protected by all of its citizens fighting, from the most powerful to the lowest dregs, and so created weapons to give the lowest of beings a fighting chance through trickery and invention. Today, the Militia is gone and most of its members regarded as heretical madmen or blood-drunk vagabonds, but their legacy lives on.

The Gratia sacrifices capacity for power, designed by a huntsmen of the same name who believed that two shots were always better then one, and that the nimblest of men could cleave and burn through foes. This proves deadly on the battlefield, offering unparalleled lethality up close. While they ultimately perished at the hands of a jedi, their weapon became a staple of the Militia. Now, it serves the Accord as an optimal weapon for an eccentric sort, and is heavily favored by Mercenaries, Soldiers, and even the elite within the JAG Corps.

DESCRIPTION
The Stygium Pistol is unique, created by Accord scientist in an effort to utilize the power still held within the Tainted Stygium Crystals. The weapon itself is unique in that the beam fired through the Tainted Stygium Crystals disrupts biological functions depending on the area hit, ranging from paralysis in the affected limbs to death if hit in the heart or neck. This phenomenon is likely caused by the unique EM properties of the beam, managing to affect the nerves at a local level. If hit in the head, the individual will be incapacitated due to inflammation of the brain tissue, although prolonged exposure is deadly. Paralysis of the affected area increases with exposure to the beam, with one second of exposure equating to fifteen minutes of paralysis, increasing to an hour after four seconds. Higher amounts will result in permanent damage or death.The beam is able to affect targets at a diminished capacity through armor, with the heaviest armor blocking the beam entirely.

DESCRIPTION
The Guardian-Class, originally designed and built as the Midello-Class after after one of the Fathers, began as a heavy gunship for the Skyline Cartel. Built for their elite pilots as a superiority fighter and bomber, the Midello-Class saw action in several large campaigns against Outer Rim worlds and became known as deadly and versatile craft. While they weren't as fast as similar fighters, the overhead turret gave the operator significantly more options in combat, such as pushing targets to the front of the ship, where the powerful forward lasers would make quick work of them.

During the Separation Movement, the manufacturer of the ships, Bohmu Engineering, fell on the side of the Loyalist. While the Seperatist where robbed of their supply of new Midellos, engineers defecting from the Cartel maintained existing units, which where relegated to major engagements and Hit-and-Fade strikes. While this proved effective, supplies of the ship continued to diminish until only a half dozen squadrons remained in the Rebel's arsenal. These remaining few where used in the last engagements of the Separation; The Battle of Task-Group-Wampa, and the Attack on Bohmu Engineering. Kate "Slingshot" Shoana lead a squadron of these during both engagements.

After the conflict, the remaining Midellos where taken by the Skyline Dragons. Once the Accord was formed, the newly created Holy Design Collective, with help from Mandalorian Engineers, began studying and improving on the design.

The final upgraded version became known as the Guardian-Class, and existing Midellos where modified to this new and improved state. Now sporting both top and bottom turrets as well as improved maneuverability, the Guardian became even more of a heavy hitter. Although, armor had to be reduced from the former heavy alloy, and having the pilot control both turrets requires not only special training, but a high degree of skill to use effectively.
