Instead of joining in on Zaylos's terrible no good very bad thread :p I figured I'd start my own which is way more awesome and has glitter and ponies and is just BETTER because Zaylos didn't start it and get his stupid Zaylos-cooties all over it. :bitchez Also I wanted to use that because I don't feel like I get enough opportunities to use the LSD "bitchez" parrot. So feel free to get freaking wasted, flirt with each other, get drinks thrown in your face, start a bar fight, and cry in a corner over how your girl/boyfriend just dumped you. Oh, and Russian roulette and that knife-between-the-fingers-game are both totally acceptable.

~Latte

Antoine sighed and trudged through the doorway into the saloon. Hopefully, his almost nonexistent luck would hold out and he'd get to stick around in this one, rather than be chased out and get in a rumble with arsonist psychopaths. Hauling himself up on a stool at the bar, he perched his feet on the run and leaned his elbows on the counter. "Whiskey. Or some of that illegally strong stuff. Just don't spike my drink," he muttered tiredly, letting his head fall into his hand while the other hand reached up to tug the goggles down to rest around his neck. Blinking blearily at the drink set near him, Antoine slid it forward and grasped it with his hand for a moment. He wasn't old enough to drink in most systems. He could hear his sister's voice in his head, harping on him to follow at least that law, if he followed any. Squeezing his eyes shut, he swiftly downed the shot, shaking his head and making a face as the alcohol burned his throat and nose.

Few more of those, and his sister's voice would be nothing more than a faint ghost in the back of his memory. Just like the rest of his clan.

Sasha didn't belong here. Not in this filthy, pathetic, hole in the wall. He suspiciously eyed the corners of the saloon as he walked in for any unmentionable holes, inwardly shuddering at the thought. This bar would be perpetually covered in all sorts of grime, most of which he didn't desire to ponder. Ugh. Disgusting. As was this entire planet. Why, oh, why, had he listened to Nathan and come here? He hated Zonju V. This place was evil, filled with the most repulsive beings who called themselves people and the most self-righteous peons who called themselves "Waste Rangers." Waste, indeed. Waste of space.

There was already alcohol swimming in his system. He'd drunk it so he could stand to drink the hooker spit that passed for alcohol at this trash heap. Which certainly explained his exceptionally poor state of mind. Zonju V could go burn in the fires of Corellian Hell, far as Sasha was concerned at the moment.

Axe's drunk rant, So much as I like this merry band of law men, I'll feeling a little left out in the cold. I can drink myself into a coma, seeing as the booze is free and all, but I can't seam to get a green light (thread started) for the two out of the half dozen mission I've volunteered for. Don't get me wrong I love the free drinks, and open docks for my ship and all, but I'm feeling a little left out in the cold here. Pretty soon I'm gonna need a pretty little lady or a bar fight. Funny part is I think Lexi may be good for both.

(OOC: A drunk characters words are a sober players thoughts, I need some action)

The Vurk was at one of the tables. He was in the middle of an arm wrestle for 1,000 credits. It was double or nothing for his Mon Cal opponent thought he might have a chance the second time around. Kaltak was the evident winner after hearing a slam and then the Mon Cal ranger yelling and threatening. A huge smile grew on the reptilian's face as he collected his credits.

Sitting in the Saloon wasn't the best way to remind Kaltak of the good he had been doing in the galaxy since joining. It was a good way to pass the time though. Mug in hand, he took a decent sip. By no means was he drunk because being in a weakened state was unwise to the Vurk. They were few familiar faces to the ranger.

The deserts of Zonju V was an unloving home to aquatic being. His homeworld was filled with water; perhaps the thing he missed most of all. Lifting his glass, Kaltak watched a bead of condensation fall from the glass. Quickly it dried into the wooden table.

Looking up from the table, Kaltak saw an unfamiliar drunk ally. Another ranger who was amusing to look at. Having finished his arm wrestling match, he was now currently doing nothing.

Without hesitation, he walked over to the drunken Axelson. Grabbing a chair and twisting it around backwards, he took a seat. Immediately the Vurk began speaking "So friend tell me. How many drinks ya had there?" a smirk ended his question.

Antoine narrowed his eyes as a human staggered in, clearly drunk off his ass. He was tall, muscled, and the type Antoine had taken down many times before. Taking another sip of his drink, the boy covertly observed the fool as he bellowed in slurred speech. Something about not feeling special or loved enough, or some stupid pile of bantha waste. Rolling his eyes, Antoine shook his head and finished off his drink. Gesturing with his hand, he ordered another one and debated as the man continued moaning in hardly coherent speech.

"Pretty soon, I'm gonna need a pretty little lady or a bar fight. Funny part is, I think Lexi may be good for both."

Oh, yeah. He was done listening to this drivel now. Taking a long drink from the glass, he savored the taste before slowly rising from the bar and approaching the man as he slid into a chair. He half wondered where, exactly, Lexi Frost really was, but didn't pay it much attention as he stalked toward the man. A Vurk had sidled up as well, and Antoine made a note that he might cause issues before sighing irritably and leaning down to the drunk.

"Would you mind keeping it down? It was quiet before you came in."

Axe looked about the bar for a moment. He looked at the bartender, then the vurk, and finally the other human. Out of all of them including himself, the pressed and proper human looked well out of place. Axe had a good buzz going but was no where near his limits, in fact if anything he was chasing the hair of the dog so to speak. Still the fact that these two had little to no idea, he decided to keep it up.

"Not nearly enough", he said to the vurk kind of leaning on him a bit to sell the act. Axe then looked to the boy, "You do realize you're in a bar, a bar full of space cowboys and mercenaries? Umm we're kind of loud. Wait are you old enough to be in here ?" At this point Axe was just enjoying pushing Antoine's buttons. "Bartender, another round for my friends and I..well maybe two for me, this boy seems a little young."

As the human leaned on him, Kaltak shoved him off roughly. He wasn't one to let people touch him. "Easy drunky." the ranger warned in a non threatening way. Axe's drunken demeanor no longer intrigued the Vurk. With a snort at the drunken ranger, he turned to a boy who approaches.

"Aye you look a little young to be a ranger there kiddo. Sure you're in the right place?" the sentient chuckled. "Im not here to judge though. The names Kaltak Meva." reaching out a green hand to shake the boy's.

By then Axe had ordered a drink for the three at the table. "Ha Hah! I like drunky here!" An arm was raised to intercept a drink from the bartender.

Zaylos entered the Bar ready to tie one on and ignore the heat of the day. As he walked in he could sense the tension in the room and chose to ignore it. He wasn't here to break up fights he was here to drink. The end. He took a seat in a booth toward the back of the bar. If a fight was going to break out he'd like to have a good view of the festivities. He caught the eye of the twi'lek waitress Aola and waved her over. "Evening darlin. Can I have the usual please." Aola smiled at him and said "No problem Kartan, you want some dinner to go with it or are you on a liquid purge?" Zaylos laughed "I'll take some food as well. Just give me the special, I don't wanna put to much stress on the old man back there." The blue twi'lek chuckled and patted his shoulder, "Coming right up, Ranger." she sauntered away and put his order in.

While he waited on his drink and his meal he put his head in his hands. He ran his index finger over the scar on his face and the need for alcohol increased greatly. Luckily, as his depression reached it's apex his drink arrived. "Thank ya darlin." he said with a smile. "No problem, Zay." Kartan sipped his drink and closed his eyes. He'd been working double time the past few weeks and now that he thought about it this was the first drink he'd had in a while. The bourbon was aged and crisp. The taste was a like greeting an old friend. Zaylos felt the burn in his chest and awaited his food.

Axe suddenly sobered up, taking his ONE drink and stepping away from the Sasha just as quickly as the young man had approached him earlier. Kartan was the closest thing to an leader Axe had seen thus far. Even if his way of leading was more like, "Um I'm going this way who wants to come with?". The rest of the of these wasteland law men respected him so Axe thought it was a good place as any to make an offer.

"Mind if I sit",Axe took up a stood next to the man before he could reply. "Thanks, I don't think I could of stood much longer". Axe took a good slug of his whiskey and looked back at Zaylos once more, "I have an old friend who is looking to broker an alliance, they are looking to market some of there stock pile of "goods" in exchange for some extra muscle to help where needed"

Kartan took another drink of his bourbon as a newer ranger made his way to Zaylos's location. The Ranger invited himself to a seat and then pulled heavily from his whisky. "I have an old friend who is looking to broker an alliance, they are looking to market some of there stock pile of "goods" in exchange for some extra muscle to help where needed" business had found him even in his sanctuary. Zaylos listened to Axe as he spoke. "That's gonna depend on who your friend is." Zaylos had just recent become the Liaison for the rangers and he could tell that his comrades had started to see him in a different light... "Don't get me wrong. I'm all for helping someone in trouble, but I'll need to know the entire situation before I can commit to helping." Zaylos smiled at his Waste Ranger brother. He looked around the bar an noticed Kaltak and Antonie he nodded to the both of them before returning his gaze to Axe. "I don't think we have officially met. I'm Zaylos Kartan, and you are?"

Axe gave a nod of understanding, "Oh right, Kelly Axelson most just call me Axe, Mercenary and now a new Ranger I suppose. I was a Bounty Hunter for the Cartel but they move about as fast as a Bantha with bounty contracts and the poor SOB I used to work with has gone to go find himself or some such."Axe took another long draw off his tumbler of whiskey. "Truthfully I could careless about the slugs and there criminal empire, ha empire now there's a joke bunch of ass hats being lead around by religious zealots. I should know I did the dirty work. Axe had to take another drink as he momentarily flashed to some of his dirtier deeds in the ISF.

"I'm rambling, point is I found you merry band of misfit lawmen and here I am. As it so happens a fellow former ISF friend of mine found his own new cause in the Galaxy, some cat race trying to get back to there home world.

Antoine narrowed his eyes at Axe, curling his lip angrily. "Aren't you a little foolish to still be alive?" He growled. The drunk stumbled his way over to Zaylos Kartan after he sat at the bar, and Antoine rolled his eyes. Let Zaylos deal with that useless son of a gundark. Turning to Kaltak, his nostrils flared a little at the question of, again, him being a little young to be here. The next person who asked that, Antoine knew, would have their head kindly bashed onto the table.

Were he allowed to walk the galaxy, even exist, as his true heritage, there would be no question of his worth. No question of his capabilities or his age at all. His very status would mark fear in the hearts of anyone when he simply entered a room. As it stood, Antoine preferred not to risk, even this far out, some Imperial dirt finding him and turning in his body for a handsome reward. So his beskar'gam had been painstakingly hidden away until he could use it again, if ever in his lifetime. He shoved down most of the rage he gained from hearing questions of his age and worth, knowing it was the way of things. Still. He was tired. The mission had been long. The alcohol had already hit him in just the right place. Antoine would be perfectly overjoyed to beat someone into a pulp.

Reluctantly shaking the Vurk's hand, he reached back to grab his drink off the bar before slumping into a chair. "Antoine Cinn," he mumbled in reply to Kaltak's introduction. "Don't suppose you have anything interesting to discuss?"

Zaylos listened with quiet patience as Axe spoke. The man was gruff around the edges but all the rangers were. Zaylos would have to file the fact that the man had been associated with the cartel into the back of his mind. Kartan had worked with the Hutt's at one point in his life and he'd not hold it against another. That being said He would keep Axe under review until he'd proven himself around the Fort. It was one thing to say you didn't care for the cartel it was another thing to act against them. The scar on his face tingled as he remembered the beautiful psychopath that gave it to him. "E chu ta..." he thought before his thoughts were pulled toward Axe again as he began to elaborate on the alliance he'd mentioned. Zaylos sipped his drink as his mind riffled through news reports and holovids on Feline races incorporated in civil war. One such race stuck out in his mind.

"Do you mean the Commonwealth?" he asked. His interest far greater then it had been originally.

The sudden disappearance of the drunkard who for some reason caused the Vurk to gaze. Axe had stubbled over to Zaylos who had just walked in. Kaltak nodded to his friend and shouted out in the bar "Zaylos good to see ya! How's that horse?" he finished his pleasantly with his iconic smile.

Not wanting to interrupt Zaylos and the drunken ranger, Kaltak had no problem turning back to the boy ranger who sat at the table with him. The younger ranger seemed irritated with everyone so the Vurk tough the would be nice for a bit. Answering the boy's question "Anything interesting? Kid ask me anything, anything at all? I'm fulla stories." the reptilian ranger said taking another sip from his mug .

Axe had to yell back at the boy, "You've little idea just how right you are boy, but alas I am still very much alive and drinking to those who were not so lucky, both to friends and the poor SOB's who though they could best this fool". Axe looked back to Zaylos, "bastards get younger every year. Where was I, oh yeah The Commonwealth, truth is I don't know a great deal about the fur balls but I thrust my friend, if he's chosen to fight side by side with them that's all I really need to know".

Axe spoke of the man like they were both born of the same mother, the battlefield had a way of doing that to men. Of making brothers out of complete strangers. He pulled his favored sidearm from his thigh holster, "This wonderful girl is a prime example of what we could get access to, in fact my living quarters on my ship is littered with there weapons", as he spoke he places Holly on the bar top.

Zaylos smiled at the Vurk and said "Ha! She's doing just fine my friend, Your's?" The horse's name was Lucky and she was a beautiful ash grey. In all honesty the past few weeks he'd probably spent more time talking to that blasted horse than any of the rangers. He chuckled to himself at the thought and then turned his attention back to Axe as the new ranger turned his attention back to Kartan. Axe confirmed Zaylos's assumption and a smile crossed the rangers lips. "That sounds interesting. I'd be really interested in meeting them." as he spoke Aola delivered his food. The smell was absolutely delicious "Here ya go Kartan. Oh and Vince says to enjoy you Poodoo smelling Bantha pup." Zaylos laughed heartily and the replied "Thank you Aola, Can you please tell that Hutt Spawn loving son of a sith he can keep his love letters to himself?" Aola eyes widened she smiled and shook her head "I swear Zay, you're the only one who under stands Vince." she turned her attention to Zaylos's companion "Is there anything I can get for you, hun?"

Zaylos examined the weapon Axe placed on the table. The weapon's quality was far superior to a lot of the weapons the rangers were using at the moment. Zaylos let out a low whistle sliding it back to Axe. "That's some impressive hardware. Set up the meeting and I'll be there." Zaylos looked down at his food like a Krashmaw that hadn't eaten in weeks. The gobo steak was perfectly cooked, charred on the outside pink in the middle. "Heaven." Kartan set into his meal still attentive to his comrade. In the middle of his meal he stopped and Pulled out his Datapad. He slid the screen and navigated to the screen he wanted and turned it so that Axe could see. "Would you mind taking care of this for us?" He took a bite of this steak and then continued "Let's call this an initiation mission."

The mission we talked about!

Axe in his usual thuggish fashion address the Twi'lek woman,"mm can I start with your number, and then perhaps what he's having. Need something to soak up the whiskey". He gave her a slight smile, knowing full well she knew exactly how much he'd been drinking sense she pored every drop thus far.

Returning his attention to the conversation, and his weapon to its home at his thigh. "Good I'll put in the call", Axe took a moment as the conversation reached an odd pause. As Kartan looked at his steak the way a Rancor might look at a Bantha. Axe was fine with moving his attention to Aola's hips as she went about her business, at let the man enjoy his meal. Kartan handed him the datapad.

"Seems simple enough", skimming over the details of the mission as the Twi'lek brought him his plate. Axe looked to the plate and then at her. "yum, are you desert?", again attempting a poor one liner before giving her a smile. "Thank you". Axe put down the Datapad as he continued to read on and devourer his meal.

As the door to the bar hissed open and Rosalynn stepped inside, she raised her head. Bright eyes slowly took in the scenery, slipping from the bartender to the variety of very different people. A little smile curled up her lips to reveal pearly white teeth as she brushed large amounts of sand off of the neon-pink dress she wore, which contrasted terribly with the bright red locks of hair running all the way down her back. Only the more attentive onlookers would notice her lips uttering several curses directed at the arid climate.

After a short pause, she paraded quickly to the counter and ordered two shots of a rather strong beverage called the 'Remote Terminator'. One she drank down in a quick gulp, raising the empty glass above herself with a straight arm. Slamming it back down on the counter was accompanied by a cheerful yell “Woooh! That hit the spot”.

Being just about the newest addition to the rangers, she didn't know anyone in the bar. However shyness was obviously not one of her most developed traits. She downed the second shot, slammed it down on the counter and started her way dancing and twirling to the center of the room, randomly shooting looks at the various people around, either drinking alone or caught up in conversation, she beckoned with her index finger “Let's get this party started!”. The way she enjoyed herself felt lightly contagious. Like seeing someone yawn, or laughing along with others.

Zaylos chuckled as Axe attempted to his on Aola. The blue Twi'lek handled it like a pro of course. She was incredibly beautiful and used to the attention from the various members in the Waste Rangers. "Hun, you couldn't handle a night with me. I'd do things to you that would make a hutt blush." Zaylos arched an eyebrow and smiled. "Well, now that sounds like a challenge." she shot him a devious grin "The offer's still on the table Kartan, Any time you're feeling froggy." Kartan laughed and then clapped Axe on the shoulder. "You better make a move before I do." He took the datapad back from the man when he was done and said "I'm glad you're interested. I'll throw you're name onto the roster. The mission can be started when ever you're ready."

A few moments later a young Zeltron woman entered the Bar. Her Red hair and bright pink dress told Zaylos she was looking to be noticed. He checked her out as she leaned up against the bar and ordered two shots that would destroy even the most experienced drinker. The ranger arched an eye brow as she shot the first one back. As she shouted to the bar “Let's get this party started!” his second eyebrow raised and surprise covered his face. "She'll be obliterated in thirty minutes or she can use the force to filter the alcohol out of her blood stream." he thought as he watched the attractive young woman with growing interest. He'd not seen her around before and Zaylos generally made it his business to know the attractive women of The Rangers.

Zaylos watched as she threw back the second shot and then walked into the middle of the floor and began to dance and spin beckoning all to join her. "I don't care how hot she is... I'm not cleaning up her puke." he thought as he looked to Axe. "I think that's enough business for me my man. Let's enjoy the view and drink a few more, huh?" he wasn't sure how infatuated with Aola he was but Zaylos was ready for a refill on his bourbon. Kartan stood, grabbed his plate and walked to the bar. He smiled at the young woman dancing as he made his way to the bar giving her a slight nod as he past. He set his plate down and Vince walked up. "What'll it be, boy?" "Just the usual, Vince," he looked around the bar and spotted Sasha. Kartan and Sasha had started off on a rocky spot, but with Zaylos's move to P.R.I.C.E. He hoped to put the past behind them and work together. "Well so long as the little bastard doesn't try and pull his self entitled bull crap." thought the Ranger.

Vince slid the Ranger a new glass filled with ice and a bottle of Corellian Bourbon that was Zaylos's favorite. "Aw, you really do care." teased the Ranger "Ah, shuddup! It's just so I don't have to serve you're ass all night!" The two men laughed and Zaylos poured himself a couple Oz's of the amber liquid. He lifted the drink to his lips and let it slid down his throat. "There is nothing better then good Bourbon." He said to no one in particular. Who knew after a couple more drinks maybe he'd join the spunky girl on the dance floor. For now, he simply leaned against the bar and drank. His posture suggested he was open to talk. He just wasn't looking to leave his spot. Not at the moment at least.

"Well darlen if you ever change you're mind I'm not a hard man to find" , Axe replied to Aola. He was only up for the hard targets when it came to battle. If the Twi'lek was more interested in Kartan he was not about to move in. Fortunately it didn't talk long for another to draw his attention away from the sweet yet sultry bartender.

The Zelton drew his attention like a bee to honey, it didn't help that he was already about two sheets to the wind. Judging by her "come get me" attitude, Axe was all look and zero touch. She was fire and he was far to gone to play with it.

"I think that's enough business for me my man. Let's enjoy the view and drink a few more, huh?"

Axe's attention jumped back to Kartan for a moment. "Oh um...yeah yeah couple more couldn't hurt." Axe stumbled over his tongue as his eyes moved back to the young woman.

"There is nothing better then good Bourbon."

" A good gun, a good woman, a fast ship.... I could think of a few", Axe rambled as his eyes followed the young woman on the dance floor for a moment. Then he shook his head as if to wake his mind from shock. "I think I'll be off to my ship before I get into trouble"

Clack. Clack. Calikity Clack.

Silence.

Clack. Clack. Clack.

The sounds his boots were making as he made his way into the saloon. He tugged his new hat, something that tugged a part of his memory, a distant face with a hat similar to this. It was a murky face, one long wiped out by years long gone past. Calico gave a sigh and pushed the doors open, breathing in the new sights and scents. So this was where everyone of this town head to after a night of working, right?

That's what he was told so anyway.

Waste Rangers. If he was drunk he would've read it as Wasted Rangers and joined in anyway. It was better than working for slimy fat Hutts. And at least he got to do some travelling around the universe as part of this job, so that was a major find for him. He walked in, as silently as he could, not wanting to block the entrance should anyone want to walk in as well. As he viewed the room, his heart fell down to it's lowest depths when he realised he had to walk through the throng of dancing and sweating bodies just to get a bloody drink. And he wasn't even that thirsty.

Why must a powers above force him into social situations like these?

Wasn't like he done anything wrong, hell since he left Dantooine he'd been helping to make this world a slightly better place for him and the rest of the universe. Couldn't he have a break? Really? Anyone? Answer me please? No? Okay, thought a distressed Calico. Seeing no other options, he gently pushed his way past several dancing females and males, some human, mostly aliens. Some of them he'd never seen but heard off.

Culturally interesting. Wouldn't settle for the looks though. I like my face., he thought silently.

He had almost made his way to the bar when a crazily dancing Zeltron danced right in front of him, and in her dancing spree managed to step on both his feet simultaneously. Now, Calico was no stranger to pain. But sometimes, even he has his limits. Like crazy dancing women stepping on his feet.

"Arghh...my frakking feet lady!"
