Refel's craft touched down in one of the higher class space ports on Abregado Rae, but he wouldn't stay here long it was to the underbelly of this world to a cantina called 267. The Jedi council had heard of strange dissapearences and Refel's master had sent him on his first real mission to find out what was happening. As Refel hopped out of the craft a droid trundled up asked for a parking fee and after he paid it Refel set to concentrating on the mission. All he knew was the place, no one had seen the person responsible or if it was even a person. Just that five people had dissapeared and no one knew why, but,he supposed, that's why they sent me. Refel thought heading towards the dark undercity of this planet.

The shadows were long in the alley behind the cantina as one of the serving girls took the trash out towards the bins, to be taken to the incinerators later. She was a tall girl, with long red hair, and a pretty figure, even in the simple blouse she wore as a uniform. She still maintained an air of innocence, despite living in such a foul part of town. The bar had, until recently, been able to protect its employees.

She would sell high.

Two dark shapes detached themselves from the shadows and rushed forwards. The girl didn't even have time to scream before they had gagged her, and knocked her down. One of them reached for a pair of binds as the girl twisted and fought in fear.

Temis Irertne slunk along the sides of the alley, viewing the window he needed to reach. This wasn't an actuall mission for him, he was just keeping himself in shape. He started to climb the wall when he heard a muffled shout. He looked over his shoulder and saw two men dragging a girl down the alley. He dropped to the ground and ran silently after them, not that he cared what happened to the girl, he just wanted some action. Keeping to the shadows he was virtually invisible in his long black cloak and he made no sounds at all.

((It's on the useable planets list = No problem. If you think it shouldn't be there take it up with the staff or put it in the Suggestions forum. But Back on topic?))

Refel had reached the bar 267 and as he began his search for clues around back he saw shadows flicker around the corner. His Force senses urged him to check it out and he slid his hand to his lightsaber swiftly crossing over to the corner. Another shadow around another corner and he was off down the alley using the Force to hurry himself along.

Temis saw the two men and quickly jumped from the shadows. He stabbed his dagger into the back of one of them and then flicked it out and threw it into the forhead of the other, both men were dead withing a second of his attacking. When he went to retrieve his dagger he wiped the blood off of it and was about to tell the girl to move along when he heard someone coming. He melted back into the dark shadows, nearly invisible to the naked eye.

As Refel turned another corner he saw two men, most likely the culprits laying dead on the ground but their was only the unarmed girl,"Who did this?" Refel asked. The girl only pointed into the shadows and ran. Refel looked the way she had gestured reaching out with his Force senses.

Temis shrank back into the shadows, knowing the Jedi would be able to sense him, his only oppurtunity would be.......NOW! Temis leaped from the shadows moving incredibly fast, his sword coming down at the Jedi's head and his dagger coming up to the Jedi's sternum.

Appearing in an instant to place herself between Refel and the man attacking him was Cynthia Juno. She had not yet drawn her lightsaber. Opting for a less violent method than killing she sent a force push at the man to try and send him backwards. At the same time she bent both knees and dropped into a defensive stance for hand-to-hand combat. This man was important for informational purposes. He may very well have data that would help her to break a slavery ring. If her guess was incorrect then it would simply be that he would stand trial for assaulting a Jedi.

Temis felt the push and he was launched backwards into a wall, he hit the wall but fell gracefully to his feet in a low crouch, sword and dagger at the ready, "Stay out of this." he said, in a low growl.

"You have launched an unprovoked attack against a Jedi Padawan. Surrender." Her voice carried not even a hint of a threat really. It was simply a calm statement that was rather offset by her combat ready stance. Even though she seemed to be perfectly still she was actually probing the man with the force trying to detect his motives as well as his next move.

Temis didn't want to fight, but if they found out who he was..no he quickly told himself. He blanked his mind and started think of mid games, playing cards and practising sword form in his head to prevent the Jedi from seeing into his mind, "What do you want from me." Temis said in his gravelly voice.

With no real change in her voice she responded to Temis's question. "Surrender and answer all my questions." It was apparent the man had met force users before since almost as soon as she tried to enter the man's mind he began to focus on other things. This was not going to stop her from finding out what she needed to know. Drawing upon the force she seeped into his mind trying to move past his current thoughts and drag out his memories to at least distract him while she did what was necessary.

Temis growled, "Get out of my HEAD!!!!!!" and with a fierce mental push that had been taught to him as an anti-forceuser technique, sent the Jedi's mind probe out of his head. "I'll tell you what you want, but never, never try to get into my head again Jedi scum, or I will kill you were you stand."

"Do not threaten me." She did not try to get back into the man's head. When the man became angry and threw her out of his mind he was unable to keep everything sealed due to his anger. "Lower your weapon, Temis." With a bit of an upper hand on the man now she dropped out of her combat stance and simply stoodslightly in front of Refel. Using his name would likely throw the man off his stride even more so Cynthia knew that if she kept up everything she needed from the man would soon be acquired.

Temis scowled at her, shoeing no reaction at her knowing his name, and sheathed his weapons, "I don't feel like breaking a sweat today, so I'll tell you what you want."

Inside the cantina, a woman slipped away from the bar and headed out to the street.

Idiots. Not only did they fail to get the girl, they nearly got themselves captured by jedi. The zetga slavers could do better than fools like them. She sighed, brushing her long silver-blonde hair out of her eyes. It was a good thing they had been killed, or she would have had to have done it herself, to keep them quiet.

Hurrying into a mass elevator, she waited as it lowered further into the depths of the city. A man jostled her, and she could smell alcohol on her breath. If she hadn't been pledged to the service of the zetga family, she wouldn't be here on this smelly planet. She sniffed in irritation, and looked at the streets people around her. It had been a strange twist of fate that had placed her in the service of the zetga family...

She shook her head. Now was not the time to think about old days...

She would have to inform the local leader of his mens' failure and pass on her master's displeasure.

Refel stood unmoving behind the Jedi who had just so recently saved him. He swallowed as the two battled back and forth through words and through their minds. He still couldn't beleive his luck. Although he guessed it was the Force. He thought about speaking but decided against it. If this Jedi wanted his opinion she'd ask for it.

Now that Temis was no longer acting in a threatening manner Cynthia turned her attention to Refel. "How did you become a part in this. Tell me everything about the slavers and any other relevant information you may know." Although he was another Jedi like her she still kept her tone a cool one betraying no emotion to either of the people present. Also, despite it not entirely being necessary for her to do so, she turned her head slightly in Refel's direction so as to allow him to guarentee he would understand her.
