There's a difference. Assassins are a elite group of killers. The Bounty Hunters are trained mercs. One lives in secrecy. One doesn't. Etc, etc. Besides, I don't think that faction is active anyways.

In canon, the GenoHaradan have existed since around 25,000 BBY or so if I remember correctly.

CARD is more like an Umbrella Corporation in my eyes and the BHG has been and will most likely continue to be dead, though I would love to try and organize a way to hunt criminal characters.

CARD does have its Special Operations Legion and Omega programs, both of which can operate as assassin groups if need be, though the Omegas are better suited to that sort of work. Nevermore is right though, we're more a corporation than an assassin's guild.

As for the BHG, it's dead. People have tried to revive it now and then, but they've all pretty much failed imo. It would be interesting to see someone try to build a completely new incarnation of the guild, though.

That's sort of like what I suggested to J Mocks via PM. I think it would be better if there was a bounty system in place rather than a faction, since those consistently fail.

And then there could just be a character or characters that handle bounties and whatnot. Rewards, punishments for failure, briefings, etc.

My bad. In another RP (darkhaert knows which one I'm talking about) I'm in, a non-Naruto one, one of our RPers introduced a hit-list RP storylines called Bingo Books. I thought the term was ambiguous with Hit List. It wasn't until you mentioned that did I look online and see it's Naruto-originatated.

Still, hit lists would be interesting to have. We could have them mixed between NPCs and PCs. (I get the feeling Banik would be on the top of the Republic's, lol)
