Description
A descendent of the venerable EF76 Nebulon-B, the Nebulon-V is the newest addition to the Escort Frigate Line by Kuat Drive Yards. It features extremely heavy armor plating, which has been raised up off the hull, creating a buffer zone and allowing the armor to cool more quickly when it is under sustained turbolaser fire. These gaps between the armor plating and hull also provide additional storage space. Cargo containers can be mag-locked along the hull, concealed and protected by the armor plating.

It is also heavily armed, making it ideal for anti-starfighter operations or escort duty. Unfortunately, the heavy armor and extensive armaments limit hangar capacity substantially. External docking berths have somewhat offset this drawback, but it is certainly no replacement for a dedicated carrier. With some weapon systems removed completely, the vessel is easily outfitted for a myriad of other roles, including a hospital ship or an armed personnel transport.

Following the Bacta Crisis, a large number of these vessels were reported missing. Many are believed to have fallen into the hands of criminal and insurgent elements within free space, leading the Imperium to cut back on their use and cancel all future orders. Despite this, they can still be found in service throughout Imperium territory, relegated to the protection of minor outposts and backwater worlds.

Description
The MC20g was first introduced during the Battle of Manaan, where it played an instrumental role in the defense of the planet. Though originally designed to serve as a civilian transport and luxury yacht, it was easily converted into a capital ship killer with the addition of ion cannons and turbolasers salvaged from much larger starships. With the addition of two heavy, rapid firing concussion missile launchers, the MC20g became a deadly craft, especially when attacking in groups of three or more.

A large reactor, a secondary propulsion unit for underwater travel, heavy weaponry, and a powerful shield generator limit cargo and passenger capacity substantially. Because of this, the crew must operate cramped conditions with little comfort or privacy.

Armament
Ion Cannons (3; single-barrel configuration; one in the bow, one port, one starboard), Mass Driver Cannons (2; single-barrel configuration; one port, one starboard), Medium Laser Cannons (9; single-barrel configuration; two in the bow, three port, three starboard, one aft), Concussion Missile Launcher (1; bow)

Both mass drivers are reduced functionality versions of the military grade cannons once used by the Mandalorian faction. They are still powerful, but lack the key mechanisms that allow the military grade models a higher rate of fire, improved accuracy, and a substantial increase in range. They can fire a variety of munitions, from proton and disruptor torpedoes to high-explosive and fragmentation rounds.

Equipment
Military Grade Sensor Array, Standard Navigation Module, Advanced Targeting Suite, Advanced Life Support Module, HoloNet Transceiver, Transponder Randomizer (mimics transponder codes of old or captured ships; requires frequent updates), Extendable Docking Arm (for forced boarding operations; equipped with industrial grade laser drill), Chaff Launchers (2; one port, one starboard), MandalMotors KSG-9 Power Generator w/ Emergency Power Cells, Mid-Grade Shield Generator, Tractor Beam Projectors (2), Escape Pods (6; three port, three starboard), Maintenance Drones (12; small droids that can be deployed to repair minor damage or assist in constructing more extravagant disguises using an internal store of fiberplast panels and durasteel plates)

Description
With the push of a button, hundreds of specially coated fiberplast panels on the hull can change color, then rearrange themselves to mimic the outward appearance of various bulk freighters and civilian transports. With the push of another, they can slide aside to reveal sensor-masked weapon ports and a thickly armored hull. Like its namesake, the Stathas is a predator in disguise. It is a light, deadly warship built to ambush unwary prey, reel them in, and allow marines to storm aboard quickly and safely.

Description
The BT-7 was state of the art for its era, the armor plating, heavy laser cannons and modular shield systems were the best available. The hull was also shaped to help deflect laser bolts in case of shield failure. It had lodgings for several troops and contained a command center, a briefing room, a very spacious cargo bay, a medical bay and an armory. There was also room for recreational activities. It's now been modified to meet modern standards and put to use again for the Rendili Raiders, and subsequently, the Rebellion.

Small Mount Weapon Options: Heavy laser, Light Blaster Cannon, Heavy Repeating Blaster, Missile Pod, High Pressure Flamethrower, Automated Anti-Missile Defense Lasers, External Sensor Pod, or External Jammer Pod.

Large Mount Options: Concussion Missile Launcher (12 missiles per), Proton Torpedo Launcher (6 torpedoes per), Heavy Blaster Cannon.

Equipment
Standard Sensor Array, Holographic Targeting Module with Helmet Integration Package, Standard Navigation Module, Standard Life Support Module, Heavy Military Grade Shield Generator, Pilot Ejection Modules, Five Retractable Ropes on each troop bay door, Class Three Hyperdrive, Chaff and Flare Launchers.

Maneuverability
Slow, but has a full 3-D range of motion due to it's repulsorlift propulsion.

Description
The VAAT-h is a modernized and slightly upsided version of the tried and tested LAAT Gunship of the Clone Wars. Chief among the modifications added by Stiel Industries is the addition of a hyperdrive, although this was at a cost in transport capacity. The second most notable improvement of the craft was the modualization of it's weapon systems, allowing a greater degree of customization. The most common weapons of choice are the trusted blaster cannons and repeating heavy blasters, although a myriad of other weapons exist, ranging from rocket pods to anti-missile defensive lasers to even high pressure flamethrowers. Even the fearsome rocket launchers have been modernized, and can be swapped between proton torpedo or concussion missile launchers, heavy blaster cannons, or even simply removed for added maneuverability and reduced cost.

Description
Branching out for the first time into the civilian market, the Mon Calamari, Selkath, and Quarren engineers of Manaan Shipyards developed the MC10c. Though it was hailed by critics as one of the best light freighters of its time, the MC10c was not as easily modified as its Corellian counterparts, leading many spacers to reject it outright.

With enough credits and hard work, the stock turrets can be replaced with heavier models and it can be outfitted with anything from a concussion missile launcher to a mine layer. Some of these upgrades increase the drain on the reactor, while others reduce cargo and passenger capacity.

Description
Though the VX-700 design is nearly a decade old, it is by far the most popular of the VX series of light freighters. It has a limited cargo capacity, but it is incredibly quick and agile. It is also easily modified, allowing the addition of a ventral turret as well as medium laser cannons (or concussion missile launchers) on either side of the cockpit.

[td="width: 600, colspan: 2]

Description
Developed as a counter to the swarms of Cartel drone fighters, and Chiss Clawcraft, the Vindicator is a staple of Bothan patrols, and serves well in an anti-starfighter capacity. The gunship is highly maneuverer, thanks to four large thrusters that allow it to vector in multiple directions, ensuring that it can bring its guns to bear down on any starfighter that tries to breeze past it. The guns themselves are rapid firing dual light laser cannons, with two mounted on the ventral side, two on the dorsal, and one under the forward bridge.

The ship can also act as an escort for bomber forces, using its impressive anti-starfighter weaponry to keep them off the bombers, it's jamming beams to negate local point defense, and proton torpedo launchers to supplement the strike. These features likewise make the Vindicator well suited for boarding actions, and general system patrol. All in all the ship typifies the Bothan ability to respond to a threat, even one that utilizes overwhelming numbers. In light of the Battle of Naboo, the Resistance has begun using these vessels as well, as a counter to the fightercraft seen there, and as an effective tool to exploit the weaknesses in Imperial battlegroup formations that were uncovered early on in the fighting.

Description
Light and agile, with enough staying power to survive the thickest of dogfights, the Rogue's heritage can be traced all the way back to the Rogue Squadron of the New Republic and their trademark Incom T-95 X-wing starfighters. Combining the design principles of the X-wing with advanced double-redundant shield technology of the Mon Calamari, the Rogue boasts a higher survival rate in heavy-fire situations than any other comparative fighter of its class. Coupled with a relatively simple and user-friendly interface, training pilots for the Rogue is an inexpensive and painless process. Since the fall of the Galactic Alliance, their production has been discontinued and replacement parts have become increasingly rare. The Alliance for a New Republic maintains the last active squadrons in all the galaxy, frequently swapping parts from damaged Rogues to keep others operational, but none of their pilots expect that to last.

Description
Incom, still reeling from the collapse of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, did all that it could to support the fledgling Alliance for a New Republic, even going so far as to create new designs for them in secret. The end product was the T-67, a craft more than worthy of its ancestry. Unfortunately, the prying eyes of the Imperium's intelligence services and limited funding has stalled their production, leaving little more than a single squadron in active service.

The T-67 was designed to be highly modular, allowing any number of upgrades and modifications, even with components not designed for the T-67 in particular. Not only does this keep the craft a step ahead of its competitors, but it gives it much desired resilience and longevity. It also makes regular maintenance very inexpensive and largely unnecessary. While Incom recognized that the need to order specialty parts regularly would triple their profits, it was decided that a starfighter that could practically be repaired or rebuilt from scrap was far more valuable to insurgent forces and would attract more sales in the long run.

Like its predecessors, the s-foils sap heat from the craft during high stress operation, reducing the likelihood of overheating and mechanical meltdowns.

Description
Incom, still reeling from the collapse of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, did all that it could to support the fledgling Alliance for a New Republic, even going so far as to design and manufacture new prototypes in secret. One of the end products was the RZ-9. Unfortunately, the prying eyes of the Imperium's intelligence services and limited funding has stalled their production, leaving little more than a single squadron in active service.

The RZ-9, much like the T-67, was designed to be highly modular, allowing any number of upgrades and modifications, even with components not designed for the RZ-9 in particular.

Like its predecessors, the RZ-9 is equipped with very powerful engines, which are linked to sensitive controls. This makes the craft very responsive and maneuverable, but also more difficult to pilot.

Description
The VZ-22 Predator was released on the open market just prior to the fall of the Galactic Alliance. Though initial sales indicated a lack of interested buyers, Incom and Subpro continued production, hoping for a complete turn around once the Imperium and Mandalorian advance was halted and the market stabilized. When the market collapsed with the fall of the Alliance, Incom scrapped the entire line in favor of what would later evolve into the T-97.

The VZ-22 Predator is highly modular, allowing any number of upgrades and modifications, even with components not designed for the VZ-22 in particular. Not only does this keep the craft a step ahead of its competitors, but it gives it much desired resilience and longevity. It also makes regular maintenance very inexpensive and largely unnecessary. While Incom recognized that the need to order specialty parts regularly would triple their profits, it was decided that a starfighter that could practically be repaired or rebuilt from scrap was far more valuable to consumers and would attract more sales in the long run. This same concept was later used in the development of the T-97 and RZ-9.

Less expensive than the T-97 and equipped with a more impressive sensor suite, the VZ-22 is an ideal scout and patrol craft. With minimal modification, the nose cone can also house a high resolution photoreceptor, camera, and recording device (something not possible with the T-97, whose precisely fitted interior compartments leave little room for extra equipment). With a stealth coating, gravitic modulator, and retooled engines, the VZ-22 would make an excellent stealth craft whose only trade off would be speed and firepower.

It is also well suited to atmospheric flight and as such, has found regular use as a close air support platform. It's s-foils sap heat from the craft during high stress operation, reducing the likelihood of overheating and mechanical meltdowns.

Description
In use ever since the Mandalorian Wars of the Old Republic, Aurek Starfighters have seen use since their initial deployment. More specifically the Aurek fighters saw combat throughout a time span of 3,000 years, and they underwent extensive upgrades and revisions from one era to the next. The fighter was capable of considerable acceleration and maneuvering, and had variable-geometry wings. They were easily refuelable and rearmable, thus driving down costs. Now they have emerged again, this time as the fighter of choice for the Rendili Raiders. What its standing amongst the Rebellion will be, only time will tell.

Equipment
Standard Sensor Array, Holographic Targeting Suite w/ Helmet Integration Package, Standard Life Support Module, Standard Navigation Module, Light Shield Generator, SKpg4 Power Generator, Pilot & Gunner Ejection Seats

Description
A project spearheaded by Slayn & Korpil and former employees of Rothana Heavy Engineering, the Starhawk combines speed, maneuverability, and the heavy armament of an assault starfighter with the missile, torpedo, and bomb bay capacity of a bomber, making it more than capable of competing with either class or fulfilling their roles. Since its inception, it has become increasingly popular with criminal and insurgent elements within free space.

A circular hatch is located just behind the cockpit and serves as the primary entry and exit point. The craft is equipped with ejection seats for both the pilot and the gunner. When the emergency ejection system is activated, the canopy is immediately blown away to provide an unobstructed flight path. If the chaff launchers are online and loaded during ejection, they automatically fire to provide a screen for the escaping crew.

Affiliation:Rebels
Ownership:N/A
Intent:This armour was created for us in RP for the Rebel PC's. It will also be used as a top-end framework and for member-created alternatives to this armour.
Model:MCU-MkII, or the Modular Combat Uniform, Mark Two.
Weight:The base armour, which includes helmet, torso, shin, boots, shoulder and forearm panels weighs 12kg, but can weigh up to 40kg, depending on modular additions.
Composition:The MCU-MkII armour is technically not a full-body unit, but is worn over standard-issue cotton/synthetic armourwoven fibre blend fatigues. The armour plates themselves are a lightweight mix of plasteel and ablative polymers with an armourweave backing, held in place on a mesh vest which is easily wearable over most normal clothing. The modular attachments range in composition from circuit boards, aluminium, magnesium, plasteel, and plastic.
Rating:The MCU-MkII is resistant to rifle fire, in addition to being pistol, shrapnel, and fire proof. It is, however, vulnerable to armour-piercing sniper fire, direct lightsaber contact, and artillery fire, particularly in the joint areas where no plates are set; underarm, inner thigh, neck, groin.
Description:The Modular Combat Uniform is the standard combat protection resource at the disposal of the Rebels. Consisting of armourweave fatigues, with modular protection plates, with various hard points for peripheral storage or technology. The system was designed with the notion that not all soldiers would have access to every piece of armour, allowing a high level of customisation and modularity, giving each wearer the freedom to use whatever is at hand.

The MCU is the standard combat uniform for the Alliance Military. It consists of lightweight Armorweave combat trousers and combat jacket, which protect against shrapnel to some extent; a lightweight composite helmet with ballistic glasses, which protects against some blaster pistols and and most lower-powered handgun rounds as well as shrapnel; and a heavy-duty armorweave plate carrier with ceramic composite trauma plates, which is capable of stopping blaster rifle bolts and rifle bullets without much trouble.

Where possible, the MCU-MkII is accompanied by a set of Suregrip boots and gloves, to allow for maximum traction in any situation, and a firm grip on weapons, handholds, or environmental elements that require tactile action.

Beyond the basic layout of the armour, peripheral attachments may be added, or removed depending on the wearer's general preference. As a result of this high modularity and lax uniform policy fostered by the Rebellion, it is rare that any two wearers appear like they are wearing the same armour at all. Five basic kits have been established as recommended wear for Rebel combatants, but independent parts are capable of being retrofitted to the MCU-MkII in exchange for tradeoffs such as weight, power consumption (for electronic equipment), or protection capability. Overall, however, the MCUM-MkII is a low-cost, mass produced, simple, but effective modular system that is easy to construct and maintain on a low budget.
_
_
The Hermes variant of the MCU-MkII is known as the 'lightweight' variant due to its seemingly minimalistic use of peripherals, and use of only the most motion-permitting plates. Even without the additional plates or peripheral accessories found on other MCU's, the Hermes variant is still a key part of the Mark-II family, and fills a vital role for lightweight, rapid movement soldiers. Due to its low profile, the Hermes is also a favoured choice of any vehicle operators, or servicemen aboard ships or posted in barracks or bases.
"COBALT"

_____________________________________
_
_
Conversely to Hermes, the Cobalt variant is much heavier due to its increased peripheral load. Contrastingly, the Cobalt variant remarkably limited protective capabilities in the form of duraplast composite inserts which are placed behind the wearer's combat harness. Designed for maximum manoeuvrability and maximum carrying capacity, the Cobalt is capable of carrying enough ammunition, rations, explosives, and tech to change the fate of a battle. Worth noting is the addition of the long-range camera mounted on the side of the helmet, which is linked to a small removable visor placed over the wearers eye. This armour is often the preference of soldiers on extended operations due to its comfort, and additional carrying capacity.
"SHOGUN"

_____________________________________
_
_
The Shogun variant is a key part of the MCU-MkII family, and offers the benefits of Cobalt's carrying capacity in the form of an over-vest harness which permits the use of a daypack and peripheral-carrying waist strap. This harness is placed over the same chest piece used on the Hermes variant, offering good protection, extended carrying capacity, but also detracts from the range of movement. This is the most commonly used variant of the MCU-MkII family, as it offers, more or less, everything a soldier will need in a fight - a good balance of defence and function.
"FIREFLY"

_____________________________________
Firefly is, unquestionably, the "heavy" variant of the MCU-MkII. Utilising a near full-body articulated system of plates and pads, the Firefly offers the most protection of any variant. The drawback, of course, is a massive increase in weight, and a stark decrease in manoeuvrability. The Firefly, however, does offer the option of a combat harness capable of carrying heavy munitions and even a second primary weapon.

Most noticeably about the Firefly is the fully-sealed helmet. While not vacuum sealed, the helmet offers a rebreather apparatus capable of sustaining the wearer for up to four hours in low-oxygen environments, and up to an hour underwater. Consider your options carefully when choosing the Firefly, as when wearing it the extra defence it offers will most likely be used when its limitations catch you out.
"WAMPA"

_____________________________________
_
The Wampa variant is expectedly a cold-environment suit, which sacrifices a great deal of combat protection in favour for environmental protection in the form of cold-weather gear. While still retaining the combat vest and harness, the Wampa has little to no other armour plates involved in its design, and its reduced weight is quickly overwhelmed by insulation designed to keep the wearer alive in sub-zero conditions. In addition, the wearer has access to a multi-function headset which is capable of heat-sensing, night-vision, and binocular-level zoom.

An absolute must-have for any Rebel in cold-weather environments, regardless of its drawbacks.
Disclaimer:The Rebels will be utilising any and all armour that they can get their hands on. If you plan to create your own armour for use within the rebellion, ensure that they do not exceed the specifications of the armour outlaid here. Thankyou.

Manufacturer
Exotac Arms & Drolan Plasteel

Model
Pz-95 Blaster Carbine

Class
Blaster Carbine

Composition
Plasteel (external plating), Desh & Aluminium (framework & internal components)

Dimensions
Length: 77.5 cm (stock fully extended)

Weight
3.4 kg

Ammunition/Power Cell Capacity
50 (per blaster cartridge)

Maximum Range
245 m

Description
A design that has seen no major changes in the nearly seventy years since its inception, the Pz-95 was first marketed as a powerful yet affordable personal defense weapon and sold to thousands of people living in the Outer Rim. Despite its archaic design, it is quite reliable, though certainly not the most durable of weapons. The plasteel casing has been known to chip and shatter quite easily when hit directly or dropped on a hard surface, but this is the trade-off for a super light weight carbine.

Contrary to marketing claims, it is only a step above a heavy blaster pistol in terms of power and requires regular maintenance.
Sucks. Needs replaced.

Manufacturer
BlasTech

Model
A-560 Blaster Rifle

Class
Blaster Rifle

Composition
Durasteel

Dimensions
The A-560 is of relatively average size for a rifle, with a length of 940MM from muzzle to buttplate.

Weight
5.5 kilograms.

Ammunition/Power Cell Capacity
The power pack can supply energy for 25 blasts. The gas cartridge holds enough gas for 600 blasts.

Maximum Range
500 m

Description
The A-560 Blaster Rifle was developed from the grounds up as a ‘Battle Rifle’ - a heavy, powerful weapon able to reach out a long ways and deliver serious damage. Though extensively marketed, sales never developed quite the way BlasTech desired, and the entire line was quietly retired around 990 ABY. It was restarted in 1005 to compete for an Imperial contract for a sniper’s weapon, failed completely, and was almost permanently benched. It was only just rescued by a small order from the Galactic Alliance Navy, whom were keen on using the weapon for boarding troops as it would be capable of punching through even heavily armored combat space suits.

In the event, production never quite reached the scale hoped due to incessant intervention by well-intentioned but incompetent Senators questioning the allocation of war funds. By the time the Alliance had fallen, scarcely 8,000 of these fearsome rifles were to be found in Navy arsenals. Nearly all of them disappeared before the Imperial occupation was complete, and have resurfaced in the hands of the Rebellion.

The A-560 Longblaster (or ‘Big Stick’, as known by some Rebels) is common throughout the Rebellion. Much like the T-91 also in Rebel service, the Longblaster is prized as much for its firepower as it is for its reliability. Though bulky and clunky compared to the sleek rifles favored by the Imperium, it is cheap to service and easy to jerry-rig. It’s a big rifle, though not so much so that it hampers movement, and its power cells are small and light enough that a Rebel can easily carry a good supply of power cells without needing a specialized ammunition carrier or vest - although that certainly makes things more comfortable!

The rifle is unique in that the gas cartridge is a ‘magazine’; it is the long, large, prominent box located on the underside of the weapon beneath the scope and in front of the smaller power pack, which sits just in front of the trigger. This allows gas cartridges to be quickly swapped, though the practical need for this is low. It features a built-in scope with variable zoom, able to peer at distant targets with up to 8 times magnification or quickly target foes in close with a 1 times magnification setting. The scope has an integrated night function mode that is of use.

Stock A-560’s included an automatic fire mode and a two-stage trigger, like the T-91. This function was removed on the A-560 by Rebel armorers, as the A-560 has a violent kick compared to most blaster rifles and, when fired in full auto, tends to jump wildly in the user’s hands in a spectacularly wasteful display of firepower. There is no provision for a ‘stun’ mode, though a bayonet lug and attachment point for a grenade and flare launcher is available. Some Rebels have taken to bolting a lightweight blaster pistol rewired to fire stun blasts to the front of the weapon, which acts as a foregrip and gives the user the ability to take prisoners if the opportunity arises.

Manufacturer
Corellian Arms

Model
DH-18/A "Liberator"

Class
Blaster Pistol

Composition
Durasteel

Dimensions and Weight
The DH-18/A is large for a pistol, though because of the myriad variations in the design its precise dimensions vary. It is generally between 280 and 400 millimeters long, and weighs no less than 1.4 kilograms and no more than 2.3 kilograms.

Ammunition/Power Cell Capacity
The power pack can supply energy for 18 blasts. The gas cartridge holds enough gas for 300 blasts.

Maximum Range
75m

Description
The DH-18/A is, unlike many other weapons in the Rebel arsenal, a civilian weapon. It was designed and marketed to colonists and farmers throughout the outer rim, and so the weapon dispensed with the sleek and elegant construction favored on so many core weapons. It is, instead, a skeletal and hard weapon, with dark durasteel stampings and plastics instead of a brilliant chromed finish or soft rubberized grips. It is strictly utilitarian, though as a Corellian product that should be of little surprise.

A bewildering number of DH-18 variants exist, up to and including a light carbine with a folding stock and provision for automatic fire. Of those variants, nearly all are field-modified by their users to fit their exact needs - shoulder stocks and extended barrels are common, and it’s not hard to find one modified to fire fully automatic or in bursts. The most common variant is the DH-18/A, which is of average size and possesses good stopping power.

Like all variants of the DH-18 family, the /A variant is robust and doggedly reliable. A favorite joke among owners is that you can use them as a hammer and they’ll still work just fine, which is not entirely untrue. Their internals are somewhat oversized and about as easy to maintain as is possible for a blaster - most pistols go months or years without proper maintenance and remain perfectly serviceable.

They possess good stopping power and a respectable range, though the pistols ‘run hot’ and get uncomfortably warm after putting only a couple power packs downrange. The barrel shroud becomes especially hot, though the special alloy the fluted shroud is constructed of cools quickly and is generally safe to handle less than a minute after firing.

A rudimentary scope is fitted, capable of 1 to 4 times magnification with a simple red dot for the reticule. This is sometimes replaced by conventional ironsights or by a better scope. A stock can be clipped to the back of the weapon, which makes aimed fire easier.
Ew.

No.

OT Aesthetics have their place. This is not it.

    DESCRIPTION
Originally designed and built by RevoGalactic, before it was brought under the Rothana Heavy Engineering banner, the Murishani-class is one of the most prolific military designs in the Cartel Fleet and, by default, the Rebel Fleet. The long frigate's profile is dominated by two massive missile/engine pods which give the ship great versatility. Depending on the missile load out, it can act as either an anti-capital platform, or an anti-starfighter platform. The standard concussion missiles are capable of being swapped out for more expensive variants such as the famed diamond-boron tipped designs. The ship can carry enough additional missiles to allow it to completely reload twice, although this can be extended to three reloads at the expense of cargo and support craft.

The entire engine/missile pods which sit on both sides of the main hull can be detached in case of catastrophic failure, and rotated 360 degress giving the Murishani unparalleled maneuverability, even if its top speed leaves a lot to be desired. The Murishani typically travel in pairs while on patrol, allowing them to open up a devastating barrage on any who threaten the Rebellion's interests, and also act as escorts for diplomatic or supply convoys and for larger warships.
