NAL HUTTA, Y’TOUB SYSTEM
BILBOUSA, OUTSKIRTS OF THE BILBOUSA BAZAAR
THE VOSADII FAMILY PALACE
Surrounded by his sycophants and many servant's, Arok was fussed on and waited on, his every wish and merest thought catered to with an alacrity that few beings in the galaxy merited. But he was a Hutt and it was his due, so Arok didn't pay any attention to the fact and merely accepted it as the natural order of things. The beautiful Twi'lek slave reclining on him and collared to a chain was not in fact what most people would think - an infatuation with the humanoid species - but a subtle reminder to those around him that he was the one who controlled their fates and their every desires. If they wanted credits, women, drugs or anything else; the owed it all to Arok and it was another way of reinforcing his own suzerainty over them. His guards; plainclothes or official ringed the area around him - a group of Gammorean thugs holding their favored weapon, a Vibroaxe, as well as a few Weequay guards interposed with Nikto and a few humanoids. The plainclothes were another matter, these were far more competent and not ceremonial in the least and were composed of the three agents he had recruited earlier as well as the ever vigilant Shijo himself.

Arok slouched on his dais facing the human sitting in front of him, and looked with interest at him. The man - Zane Galla - was black haired, green eyed and looked to be lean and extremely tough, a lifetime of fighting and killing in the name of the Cartel attesting to his skills and his dashingly good looks confirming his reputation as a ladies man. Arok never understood the human's inability to think with their heads when it came to their female's, no matter their good looks, and he himself thought them to be repulsive and annoying, a constant chattering nag that just wasted precious credits and a drain on a Hutt's time.

As a fellow enforcer in the Besadii Kajidic, Arok hadn't had much to do with him until now except for hearing about his exploits and doing the one job with him on Woostri. That had been a very mutually profitable collaboration, and Arok was intrigued at the possibility of working with the enforcer again. It wasn't that often that a Hutt could find someone dependable and trustworthy - as far as any human could be trusted, at least - in the cutthroat world of the Cartel and its many shadowy arms and affiliates and Arok was interested in what Zane had to propose. This could be the start of another incredibly lucrative partnership that would elevate Arok's standing in the Cartel and allow him to climb up the ladder to the coveted Champios position - there he would finally prove to his father that he was not the slug he thought him to be.

As the Enforcer looked up at him Arok greeted the man with a smile, as befits a partner (even if he was only a human) "Welcome to my Palace, Enforcer. To what do I owe the pleasure of your company? What can Arok Vosadii Pronda do for you?>"
