On the Path of Light (Gottchol's Training)

After Rehni recieved the blow, he relaxed his muscles which had tensed up in his exertion. He stood as he listened to her, and shook his head slightly. "How do I use it?"

He had studied things about absorbing Force attacks, but he never learned the function. He waited for the response, his curiosity piqued.

"It ising like catching a ball," she told him, "But withing the Force, it alerts you when force attacks coming, but you canning uses its to channeling that energies throughs your body to adsorbing or's reflecting its." explained the Knight, "We shalling trying its withing small pushes." replied Rehni, "Readies..." she held out her hand and it flinched, sending out a slight breeze of a force push to Gottchol.

"I am yes ready." Yes, he was ready. He placed his left foot back to brace himself for the push, placing his right palm out to recieve. As it came in, Gottchol focused his hand, channeling the Force to recieve the blow.

And it did. The Push came in and he preformed Tutaminis well, absorbing it into his palm. He smiled toward Rehni, pleased.

"Goods, hows abouting something stronger?" she asked then threw a stronger force push at Gottchol to see if he could handle it.

A stronger push? He had that was a powerful push. He prepped himself for the blow, sensing it incoming. He put out his hand just before it came, absorbing the blow. Partially. He was unable to take it fully, and was forced to woddle backwards, tipping over onto his back, slightly dazed. He laid there for a few moments before pullig himself back up, trying to regain his posture.

"Stronger push indeed, Master."

 

[GABA]

"Requiring more ofing yours focus." she replied to Gottchol, "A lot ofing abilities, the stronger you wanting them, willing requiring mores focus, butting as yous gathering experiences, the easier it becoming." the Knight explained.

"Doing yous knowing Force Jumping?" she asked him.

 

[E-123 Omega]

Focus. Focus. Focus... He had to get better at- Oo, a butterfly- ah, no, just a fly, Gottchol thought to himself. The blow had effected more then he had thought. He shook his head a little. "Heard some, but never seen, Master."

 

[GABA]

Rehni watched her padawan for a moment, he looked a little disoriented, "We willing having to touching ups on Force Healing too. Asing Force jumps, just a jumping withing the Force behinds you." she demonstrated the Force jump; the force flowed through her body, pushing off she leaped into the air nearly touching the ceiling, then came back down in a controlled, landing in a crouch in front of her padawan. "You trying. Sometimes, it maying taking a few trys."

He felt the surge in the Force as she prepped for the jump, quickly lunging high into the air. He gave a small start, speaking a short phrase in Ewokese as she landed next to him. "Yub Yub!" he backed up a few feet, looking at Rehni in awe.

He nodded, and begun attempting to Force Jump. The first time was a simple jump. The second time, he focused harder, managing a few extra feet, but was caught by surprise, flailing and crashing to the floor. Gottchol stood back up, refocusing himself. After a few more attempts, he managed to both make a notable height and managed to land correctly.

Rehni watched her padawan carefully, he was struggling at first but he overcame and accomplish his task. Rehni grinned as his jump was successful.

"Shall we's play a game?" she asked approaching her padawan.

 

[E-123 Omega]

He turned back towards his master after he landed, noticing her grin. He walked towards her, intrigued. "A game?"

 

[GABA]

"Younglings here, tending to play lots ofing games that use the Force, liking Tag, wanting to trys?" she asked him seeing she had her padawan's attention.

 

[E-123 Omega]

Gottchol thought back, recalling that yes, he'd seen others play Force-intensive games. He shook his head vigorously, "Yes yes, I would."

 

[GABA]

"Goods, you maying using all that you knowing so far to avoids getting tagged by me's. Ready? GO!" the Knight explained to Gottchol and when was done speaking drew a force pull to bring into tagging distance.

And so it was on. Rehni was quick to begin, catching Gottchol somewhat offguard when she begun a Force pull, but he recovered quickly enough to absorb it and use that absorbed power to help Force jump a farther distance then he naturally could. After he landed a good yard or 3 he started to run for one of the walls, intent on grabbing distance on his short legs.

The Knight was satisfied with the padawan's reaction and timing. Rehni leaped after Gottchol landing where he first landed and watched him run, she sent a force push to Gottchol to knock him over.

He moved as quickly as he could, but when he looked behind he saw Rehni making a Force push. He attempted to pivot, but due to his short legs, he was unable to do so with the finesse needed to withstand the push. He absorbed part of the push, but he had begun falling over, the push bolstering it enough to send him rolling a few feet back. He stood up, trying to refocus himself before Rehni made her next move.

Rehni used Force speed so she was in front of Gottchol, he was doing good, but he needed to think less and feel more. She reached out and tapped his shoulder; "Bests two outing of threes, try agains, this times, feel what I ams going to do's. Using the Force to guiding your owns movements." explained the Knight. She held out a hand to help up her padawan. She moved a couple steps back away from Gottchol, "Readys...sets...go!" she cried releasing a force push.

Run, he thought. Run and don't stop, Gottchol said to himself. That was interupted, however, as Rehni appeared before him. He had sensed for a moment the sudden surge in the Force as she zoomed ahead infront of him and tapped him. It was lightning quick, and he cursed at himself mentally. He had no way to stop her. He would have to do that himself...

Rehni gave him a small lecture, telling him to feel more, to which he listened dutifilly. "Yes, Master." He wasn't sure how he'd go about it, but he had only the choice of trying.

He made the attempt to expand his senses using the Force, managing to catch his Master's quick Force Push before it occured, readying himself to actually use the Push in carrying him off. And so he did, flying a good distance away, using the Force to land. He waited for a few moments before then attempting to use Force Speed on himself, making his legs woddle faster then Gottchol ever imagine. He looked back, trying to sense Rehni's own movements.

Rehni could tell he was relying more on the Force to aid his movements, and it will most likely something he will have to learn to become second nature with to be able to overcome his opponents. She thought it was smart he used her force push to his advantage, and Rehni jumped after him landing and used a Force pull on the Ewok.
