STRENGTH: Onara isn’t very strong at all, she works out but that is mostly to keep her current figure and not to gain any muscle mass or strength.(3/10)

DEXTERITY: Onara also isn’t what you would call a sprinter but she is good as getting through a crowd to get to where she needs to be, it has become an important skill to learn as a Senator.(5/10)

CONSTITUTION: Onara is in exceptional health, she maintains a healthy diet and exercise routine to keep her health maintained because she doesn’t want to miss any days of work, or work while she is ill. (6/10)

INTELLIGENCE: Onara is very intelligent and prides herself in knowing everything she needs to know to do her job effectively. She spent many long years studying at a very good university to prepare her for her career choice. (8/10)

WISDOM: While Onara may be intelligent she is not very wise. She grew up in what a lot of people would consider a comfortable environment and never had to acquire the wisdom most people needed to get threw life. (2/10)

PERSONALITY:

The thing that would best describe Onara would have to be self confidence. She makes sure when people see her they know she is in charge, in control, and competent at what she is doing. Even when things are spiraling out of control and she is having a hard time keeping everything in check she makes sure it looks like everything is normal.

Her confidence sometimes get to the point of where it could probably be described as over confidence. She has butt heads with multiple people in the past due to this and could be considered one of her biggest flaws.

Onara loves talking to and interacting with people, that is one of the reasons she chose to be in politics. It gives her an opportunity to meet and talk with new people almost every day and that is the type of environment Onara thrives in.


If there is one thing that Onara needs in her life it is organization. Everything needs to be in it’s proper place all the time and if it isn’t she need to fix it, otherwise she starts feeling anxious and stressed out. Her need for organization is one thing that she feels makes her excel at being a senator. She always knows where anything she needs is at any given time. With this sense of needing everything to be organized and in it’s place, when things start becoming unorganized and she can’t fix it she can start to feel very anxious and stressed out, and it can cause her self confidence (which she prides herself in) to start to crack and self doubt starts to seep in.


BIOGRAPHY:


Childhood - Teen Years:

Onara’s parents were born on the Togruta homeworld of Shili where they scraped out a meager but still comfortable life before they were expecting Onara. When her mother, Amathaa Va, became pregnant they wanted a better life for their child and decided to move to Coruscant when Onara’s mother was still pregnant. They made it to Coruscant and Onara’s father, Torim Va, got a job as a mechanic for the ships in the service of the Senate so that he could provide better for his family. Soon after, Onara’s mother gave birth to twins, Onara and Ketta. As soon as the children were old enough Onara’s mother got a job as a janitor for the Senate house so that she could be near her husband and had a day care take care of the kids while they were at work


While Onara was growing up she was constantly aware of how hard her parents worked to provide her with a comfortable life and she strived to work just as hard to maintain good grades in school and make her parents proud. Every report card was straight A’s throughout her school career and she got accepted into a very good university on Coruscant where she studied politics and office administration. She continued to study hard and soon graduated, applying for a job in the senate as a secretary to get her career started. Onara quickly distinguished herself from the other secretaries with her organization skills, charisma, and determination to always do the best she possibly could no matter the task that was assigned to her and in the year of her twentieth birthday she was hired by one of the senators to be his personal assistant.


Adulthood:

Onara loved her job as a personal assistant and thrived in it, feeling that this was what she was meant to do with her life. After several years of being the personal assistant to multiple senators one of them convinced her to try and run for the senate position for her planet. Onara wasn’t sure if this is what she wanted to do with her career and had several discussions with both her parents and her sister. They were very encouraging of her running for the Senate seat, her sister especially pushed her into running, telling her how much good she could do for the galaxy as a senator, how much she could help with the humanitarian aid that many planets needed and were not properly getting. That convinced her finally to run and she returned home to prepare for the campaign.


At the start of her campaign not many people knew who she was and they questioned why she was running for the senate seat. Her popularity grew quickly after she participated in some political debates and to explain the platform she was on politically. The polls still had her adversary in the lead with votes. Onara doubled her efforts to try and pull ahead, she made as many public appearances and speeches as she was physically able to do to try and explain why she would make the perfect senator for the planet of Shili. The day of the election finally came and Onara waited with baited breath to see if she had done enough to win the vote. Slowly and votes were counted, the estimates had the final tally almost equal, the difference in votes around one to two percentage difference. When all the votes were counted and everything was all said and done… Onara had won. The final tallies were fifty-three percent for Onara and her opponent with forty-seven percent.


Her parents were proud of her and they moved back to their homeworld of Shili. Her sister also left Coruscant but she didn’t return to Shili, she instead went to the border of the Republic and sith territories to help with humanitarian aid in areas affected by the sith menace. Onara had kept in contact with her sister while she was out doing good in the galaxy but around Onara’s twenty eighth birthday she suddenly lost contact with her sister and became very worried for her safety. About a week after the she first lost contact with her sibling she received a communication from an unknown source, the person contacting her was a Sith.


They had captured her sister while she was trying to help a planet that had recently been attacked by the sith and they were holding her hostage. The sith told Onara that is she wanted her sister to live she had to do what the sith wanted, and what they wanted was for her to leak them information and secrets that she had access to from being in close proximity with the senators. Onara had no choice but to comply, she loved her sister and didn’t want any harm to come to her and the sith promised that she would be treated well as long as Onara did what she was told.


Political Views:

Sith:

The sith should never be trusted and should be eliminated if at all possible. Any allies that can assist with that should be embraced and given the full support of the Republic and its resources. The worlds under sith control should be liberated and given as much assistance and humanitarian aid as they need to get back on their feet and recover from the devastation of the Sith.

Jedi:

The Jedi should be embraced as brothers and sisters in the galaxy that are working towards the same goals of the Republic. Both of them want peace in the galaxy and both want the removal of the Sith threat. Onara would like for the Jedi to join the Republic and have it’s own senators give give both factions more strength but understands if that isn’t what the jedi would want and doesn’t want to force anyone who doesn’t want to be in the republic to join.

Humanitarian Aid:

Onara believes it is the responsibility of the government to provide any assistance that is needed to planets that are in need whether the cause is from natural disasters or from the ravages of war. The Republic is responsible for the well being of it’s citizens and should focus heavily on making sure every world is able to live a comfortable life within the republic.

Onara’s skills include organizational skills, great communication skills, multitasking skills. (Senators skills are kind of boring and lame ;P)
