Many years had passed since Quils last set foot in any of the Jedi temples and now here he was on Arbra. Only recently had he returned to the order from being on the run. One fateful night on Naboo was all he needed to be brought back into the ranks. The Hapan kept himself isolated from other Force sensitives to remain under the radar. There were some adventures throughout his exile but he'd abstained from using the Force and his lightsaber. The tool had never been ignited in the entire decade he was away despite how easy it would have been to end conflicts with just the sight of a lightsaber. Even his old style of dress had to be abandoned or he would have been recognized by the odd passer-by or two. Prior to becoming a Jedi he was a fashion model and then a student of art.

And now here he stood in one of the temple's open atriums enjoying the feel of the life surrounding him. One thing he missed dearly was the sensation of being surrounded by life as felt through the Force. With so many Jedi around him it was emotionally moving. A tear formed on the corner of his right eye and slowly trickled down his cheek, leavin a dark streak on his caramel skin. A few students passed by him, perhaps on their way to classes or training, and he greeted them with a smile and a wave from his right hand. They were dressed in the typical robes that were common among the Jedi.

The one-armed Knight himself always opted for something with a bit of flare back when he was younger until the Sith took control. However he was back amongst his own and was free to go back to his knack for style, albeit slightly modest with gained wisdom. Quils sported a pair of skin tight leggings with a tabard wrapped around his waist and knee-high cuffed boots. His upper body was adorned with a sleevless tunic tucked into his belt and he wore a white fishnet undershirt with long sleeves. Of course the left sleeve was knotted at the base of the nub.

The next step for him would be to reintegrate himself and share his knowledge and wisdom. Could he take on an apprentice at this point or would he wait? Only time would tell.

Redjyon moved quickly through the corridors of the dark underground cavern through a route he had been taking for weeks now. It had become ritual for him to spend his days outside in dense forests of Arbra and his nights quietly studying anything he could get his hands on in the Jedi archives. This life of isolation wasn't new to him but it also wasn't helping him make any friends. When people asked where he's been he always said the same thing, "Meditating." But that wasn't really true. At least he didn't think what he did in the forest was meditation. He simply walked among the forest, appreciating all the living things that swarmed around him. All of them living together in harmony and chaos underneath the same sun.

The only thing that brought him inside was his hunger, his physical hunger of course but also his intellectual hunger. That's what he needed to take care of now. He made his way to the mess hall, hoping to grab a bowl of soup that he may be able to sneak into the archives. He passed by plenty of other Jedi in the hallways without really acknowledging any of them but as soon as he walked through one of the main atriums, he made eye contact with one of the most beautiful persons he'd ever seen. A woman. No, a man. Hapan by the looks of it. They were a beautiful people. He spent four years as a droid mechanic on a luxury cruiser that employed several Hapan "companions" and he always admired them from afar.

Redjyon hadn't broken eye contact with the one-armed Jedi for several seconds and as a result, didn't notice the small Hoojib scurry under his foot until he began to fall towards the ground.

Quils smiled as he noted the stare and felt the admiration from the young arrivee. Being who he was it was something he'd grown accustomed to and simply accepted it as a compliment. Already the Knight was sizing up the boy, reaching out with the Force to feel his essence. Young.. but wisened. That was what he discerned. There was much to the young man. More than could be felt. And in his moment of being awestruck he seemed to have lost himself and was beginning to fall after one of the native hoojibs scurried past his feet. Quils reacted immediately and stretched out his hand. Drawing upon the Force the Knight focused it underneath him to brace him and hold him aloft to regain his balance.

"Staring is rude," he joked with a narrow smile, "have you ever seen a Hapan before?" His query was rhetorical,he was simply striking up conversation. With a nod he introduced himself.

It took a moment for Redjyon to realize what had happened. He stared blankly at the ground for awhile, wondering why his face hadn't smashed into it. "Oh, I've had this dream before," he thought. But it was no dream. The Jedi he had been staring at so unabashedly had caught his clumsy fall, using the Force to convince the universe that there was a safety net underneath Redjyon when actually there was nothing there. It was embarrassing, to be sure, but luckily there weren't too many people staring. Perhaps this kind of thing happens regularly? He hadn't been around long enough to know. He regained his footing in time to see the hoojib scurry off, paying no mind to the incident he had caused. "And why should he? It was my fault."

Redjyon looked up, smirked at the Hapan Jedi, and let out a small chuckle. "I'm sorry," He said aloud. "I just thought you were cute... I mean... uh, I thought you were a girl and that's when I thought you were cute. I mean you're still... Um, you know. Dashing. You're a very dashing... Male. I just don't, well, you know... Oh boy." Redjyon was shocked at his own inability to form a coherent sentence. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and replied, "Hi. My name is Redjyon. You can call me Red."

"Hello, Red," replied Quils with a mirthful chuckle as he released his hold of the young man. With a single motion he flipped his long violet hair over his shoulder and examined the young one. He paid no mind to the word fumbling that had occured. There was no doubt the Knight had feminine features. It was one if his major assets as a model. And it helped him in his evasion of the Sith. They were after a man who could disguise himself as a woman. Easily. The hard part was refraining from using the Force. And he had accomplished that too.

"So, Red, what is on your mind? Or did I surprise you that much." The Hapan sat down on the ledge of a planet and beckoned for Red to sit down. For once he could enjoy another Force sensitives company openly and he was not about to pass the chance up.

He was grateful for the levity that this Jedi greeted him with. Many of the other Jedi who Redjyon had met since his arrival were viciously solemn. Even many of the padawans who joined the Order even later than Red himself were quick to adopt the sober, pretentious attitude. He sat down beside the Hapan male. Male. Can't make the mistake again. He sat down and looked out at the crowds of students and masters, padawans and knights as they passed by. Eye contact would be a little too awkward at this proximity.

"I have seen a Hapan before. Several actually." Redjyon responded to an earlier question, as though he were picking up a conversation they had had many times before. "They were all women though. Absolutely stunning. They never said much to me of course. Not unless they had a droid that needed servicing. That was my job." He looked up at his new friend to make sure he was still paying attention, that he hadn't gotten bored already. "Well, some might call it a job, others would call it what it was: slavery." The topic of his imprisonment wasn't a pleasant one. Most people were turned off by it and made up a reason to excuse themselves. He couldn't blame them, it wasn't their fault that he spent four years in captivity. They would much rather ignore the fact that the Hutt Cartel's slavery ring was as alive as it ever was. It was easier that way.

He paused on the landing platform his ship cooling behind him, he'd been away for so long it felt strange now to be on the cusp of returning, he'd turned his back on these people walked out into the galaxy alone and un-afraid he done what he could when he could always avoiding making a scene drank attention to himself, the force had been with him always and he'd used it powers as often as required but to be somewhere where he was 'safe' where he didn't have to be alert was almost alien.

He was void of his armour and his black robes instead he was dressed as a spacer simple trousers with a multitude of useful pockets and a vest made from a blaster resistance weave, it's strange octagonal pattern had caught his attention and he'd never bothered to find out what it was actually made from, the lightsaber that wasn't truly his hung at his waist though he'd considered leaving it behind, the weapon didn't deserve to be in the presence of Jedi no really it was tainted by the dark side before him and he'd been using it as a means to an end, until he could fashion a pair to replace the ones he'd lost over the years.

He took a deep breath and strode towards the tone of the open atriums flexing the fingers of the black durasteel cybernetic hand as he went, that had become a habit of his when unsure of his surroundings flexing the fake fingers that were now part of his fake right arm, he looked around as he went searching for any familiar faces, those who'd been part of the Slayer Initiative or those who'd fought on Coruscant or Duro, something or someone who he could link the past too, but all the faces he saw were young, many too young to have taken part in the battles.

His eyes fell upon a one armed Hapen Jedi talking with a young human and he paused trying to remember the face it was remarkable not easy to forget for its humanly handsome aspects, he turned towards the pair and took a step forward.

"Excuse me, but I recall your face."

Quils nodded slowly as he listened to Red speak. Nothing of what he heard surprised or shocked him. He remembered his days of being viewed and treated as an object. He himself was guilty of doing the same to the women he met in those days. They were a means to an end. Shortly before becoming a Knight he had been taken and enslaved as one of his "fans" personal amusement. Those days were a blur of drugged memories and forgotten traumas. But he survived. As Red had. "Here you are, you made it." Quils said, complimenting Red.

The Knight's senses rung quietly as he was approached by an unfamiliar face. Garbed as a spacer, he blended in rather well. The man's statement was not too foriegn to the Hapan. "I used to be a model, you may have seen me endorsing some garbage." Quils chuckled warmly.

He chuckled pulling at his vest.

"I'm not really one for fashion. "

He looked to the other companion of the Knight.

"I think I recall you from the order, though we never met. I've just returned and was seeking familiarity."

He stepped back from the pair

"But forgive me I have interrupted."

Redjyon was relieved and found some comfort in finding a friend in the order who did not find his own trauma uncomfortable. There were many well intentioned Jedi, of course, but they didn't truly know the things he had faced and so didn't truly understand how his slavery had affected him. They couldn't know how damaged not only his mind had become but his brain as well. They didn't understand that his seeming social awkwardness was more a symptom of his underdeveloped psyche than it was a result of his quirky personality. He had a feeling that the Hapan who sat beside him knew something of trauma as well, his first clue was his lack of both a right and left hand. Again, Red was caught lost in his own thoughts and didn't even realize there was a new figure standing before him. He hoped he could make a better impression with him.

"Hello. My name is Red. Redjyon if you're not into the whole brevity thing."

He turned his attention to the youngster Redjyon and offered his hand.

"Gol, a pleasure to meet you."
