This thread is open to anyone from the Cartel who wishes to join in, and anyone else who gives me a good reason for being there and I or Pureblood-Sin approve. The basic premise of this thread is a Social call and maybe business meeting between Arok & Nodja. From there, anything can happen and I'm intrigued to see what happens next

EARLY AFTERNOON

Arok slithered out of the AirTaxi and ponderusly rolled onto the hoversled that waited for him outside. Taking a moment to settle in and make himself comfortable, Arok squirmed around and then grabbed his ever present Hooka pipe and took a deep breath. Sighing in pleasure as the drug hit his bloodstream, he closed his eyes and just let the moment wash over him before opening his eyes and ordering Shijo to enter the bazaar and find the place he was looking for. As the Weequay strode purposely off towards the large storefront ahead of them, Arok instructioned his droid to search through the catalog of items and correlate it with his own stocks at home, before making a list of weapons and armors that needed to be bought for his own staff. Taking out his datapad and linking it wireless through his hoversled to 3D-4Z he opened up the schematics of the holosite and started browsing through the shop's catalog. Immediately a blue light flared from the droid outstretched hand and from his palm a holographic screen appeared, showing every sort of weapon under the galaxy, and some even that were in the process of being fine tuned. Absentmindedly sorting through the selection, Arok puffed once more on his pipe and then pulled the hoversled forward and into the shop, motioning for Shijo to join him and show him the way.

Inside the shop...

Arok gazed appreciatively around him, noting with mounting excitement all the special gear that was laid out in front of his eyes. No doubt this will help him greatly with his endeavours, and he was looking forward to seeing what comes out of his schemes. Spotting Shijo playing with a large repeating blaster rifle, Arok glared at him and let out a deep roar <Put that down now, Shijo! We are here for business, not pleasure!> Looking around at the shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles and just miscellaneous weaponry and armor he passed the list to Shijo and instructed him to go and choose the appropriate gear for his needs. Spotting a intriguing looking gauntlet Arok picked it up and examined it, before handing it to his bodyguard <Here, what do you think of this? Can you make use of it?> nodding deferentially to Arok, Shijo slipped on the gauntlet and flexed his hand experimentally <It will do, Master. Your wisdom is infinite and your generosity rivals that the of God's themselves>

HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW the booming laugh of Arok spilled through the storefront as Arok laughed. Taking in another deep breath of his hookah Arok nodded gleefully before sending a great plume of smoke straight at Shijo's face <Damn straight, it does. Find everything you need and get it done, I will go now to the shop owner and see what business we can do> guiding the controls of the Hoversled towards the front of the shop Arok arrived at the counter and looked about for the owner.

Hands tinkering with the new device, Nodja began to hum to himself; it was times like this, he truly enjoyed the working of devices. Indeed, it was like politics...both require many manoeuvrings; both can end up literally blowing in your face if they go horribly wrong. As he got to finishing it, the customer bell began to ring; flicking his dreadlocks aside, the newly-made Enforcer called out.

"Rite mon, mi a go come now!"

The hairy Hutt promptly slithered out of the workshop, hearing the bell ring again. Irritation fluttering within him, Nodja called out again in his peculiar take on Basic.

"Rattyd mon, mi feh come as fast as mi can ya know? Bombad fool."

Those last two words were said with a whisper, not wanting to further upset a potential customer. As he came out, that was when it became clear that his customer wasn't his usual clientele. This time, a fellow Hutt has come to do business in person; most of them usually send their underlings to do their work. Breathing deep, Nodja switched to speaking Huttese.

"Gooda na lodia." Began the hairy Hutt. <"What can I do for a fellow Hutt?">

Arok waited at the store counter for the attendant to arrive. He was eager to see if the rumours about this establishment were true and if so, test out this artisans equipment for himself. Maybe they could do business together and help arm Arok's small retinue of small time thugs and gammorean guards that he was planning to hire. After all, a Hutt, not to mention a Vosadii could not just walk around with only a droid and a single bodyguard. It just didn't respect the prestige that was owed to a Hutt and especially the heir to the Vosadii Kajiidic. As Arok mused, he heard a few muffled shouts from behind the door leading to the private area of the armory.

"Rite mon, mi a go come now!" hearing the peculiar version of galactic basic come out just heightened Arok's desire to meet this sentient. "Rattyd mon, mi feh come as fast as mi can ya know?" Arok raised his eyes at that and chuckled to himself, seems this person was a little irritable. Finally the shop owner appeared in the shop and Arok was surprised at his appearance. While confirming the rumours of his race, this was a Hutt like no other. An orange skinned Hutt with red eyes, it had a white tattoo of a great, three-headed snake coiled on his back and arms, whilst a scar marked his face from top to bottom. Abnormally thin for a Hutt his age, his tail had been modified with a prosthetic that resembles that of a Barabel. And the most shocking thing of all was a wild shock of white hair, that was tied into braids

"Gooda na lodia." Began the hairy Hutt. <"What can I do for a fellow Hutt?"> Arok chuckled to himself at the bizarre sight and then looked at the Hutt directly <I've been most intrigued by your business, and I wanted to come in person to see if the rumours were true. A Hutt weaponsmith is no common thing, and it is good to see that the needs of the Cartel are not left in the hands of Kung but placed rightly into the hands of a Hutt.>

Nodja stroked his beard with his gauntleted hand.

<"That is an understatement in itself; most of our kin wouldn't be caught dead doing this sort of thing. It is as my brother said, right before he flushed me out of the Gamorrean quarters as a Huttlet, "if you want something done, you have to do it yourself." Strangely enough, that Kung was correct; peedunky still doesn't know I'm alive.">

After that, the hairy Hutt shook himself from making a ramble; he had more important things going on at the moment than his lust for vengeance.

<"Apologies"> He said, or the closest thing he could do in Huttese anyway. <"Obsessive revenge fantasies on an older sibling, you know how it is with our people; the name is Nodja Adiijac Ot'oojisii, how can I help you? T'would also be an honour to know your name."

Arok nodded sagely at the bearded Hutt "<Indeed, you should have seen what happened to my cousin... Grondo was sold into slavery at a young age, to cover his fathers debt and he was then turned into a savage cybernetic monseter. But enough of history - we have business to coclude>" Arok grinned and took a deep pull on his Hookah before he continued "<As to my name - I am Arok Vosadii Pronda, and I am interested in acquiring some weapons and armor from you for a possible security team I am planning to hire - after all, it won't do for a Hutt such as myself to be guarded only by one bodyguard. In addition, I will be looking to upgrade and enhance my hoversled - granting it increased capabilities as well as defensive armaments in case of an assassination attempt. Can you do that?>"

Nodja stroked his beard as he listened; the thought of another Hutt being augmented into a monstrosity unnerved him somewhat. That changed as soon the other Hutt went into business details; that's when the Enforcer began to smile.

<"I can certainly do all that, many are the wonders these hands have built. Some are pretty and some just make a pretty deadly boom.">

He said this with a deep rumbling chuckle, ever one to appreciate his creations; be they technological or comical.

<"Anyways, tell me what it is you specifically seek; I am to suit the desires of my customers to the best standards this side of Nar Shaddaa and that is saying something." The Hairy Hutt then proceeded to reach under the counter, promptly pulling out a tray of cakes that only one of their kind could appreciate. <"Care for a cake, the name is Nodja just in case you didn't know Arok.">

Smiling the Hutt replied <"I can certainly do all that, many are the wonders these hands have built. Some are pretty and some just make a pretty deadly boom."> pausing to let a deep rumbling chuckle, he continued on <"Anyways, tell me what it is you specifically seek; I am to suit the desires of my customers to the best standards this side of Nar Shaddaa and that is saying something." the Hairy Hutt then proceeded to reach under the counter, promptly pulling out a tray of cakes that only one of their kind could appreciate. <"Care for a cake, the name is Nodja just in case you didn't know Arok."> Arok grinned when he saw the tray and delightedly took one and popped it into his cavernous mouth, crunching and slavering he gobbled it up and then took another "<You do know how to treat a client, that is for sure my friend Nodja. These are exquisitely made, you must tell me your recipe and I'll have my droid send you a favourite of mine - orpali dragons>"

Arok laughed out loud in delight, and then beckoned over Shijo who had been browsing through the store like a small child in his first candy store. Immediately dropping a heavy looking sniper rifle with a guilty look he crossed the store as fast as he could without actually running and stood at his masters side "<Yes your magnificence? What do you need of this small one? >" he said with obvious false humility. Arok grinned at that and then turned back to Nodja "<My bodyguard here will tell your man what I require, me and you have more personal business to discuss>"

As Shijo turned to the counter and pulled out a datapad lined with schematics and technical specifications. Puffing on his hookah and taking another cake Arok gestured to his hoversled <"As you can no doubt see, I have an unfortunate need for this machine to move about. I am looking to improve this stock model as well as add more personalized touches and enhancements. I'd like for it to have a control & command system linked to my armrest panel that allows me access to all my business networks, the HoloNet, a holographic communication system and a powerful onboard computer that can handle anything I need to do. In the defensive department I wish for it to have increased speed, maneuverability, endurance and if possible a shield in case of emergencies. Oh, and of course - a built in placement for hookah>" Arok chuckled at the last, and then looked at Nodja "<Can you do that for me?>"

The Dust Runner hung in space peacefully and slowly swam through zero-g not really towards anything in particular. When working on a new toy, Gemma found that it was always best to make sure she was alone. Aside from Glitch she was completely alone, and if one didn't count the artificial intelligence that Glitch was than Gemma was uterly alone. She didn't mind being alone though, it gave her time to work on things without the pressure of the system she currently resided on.

Currently, she was sitting cross-legged on a stool and was hunched over a pair of goggles. Her bangs fell loose in front of her but were not in the way, yet. She had removed the protective lenses from her goggles and was now replacing them with a modified sensory system that automatically adjusts the tint to avoid blinding lights. She popped the first lense back in place and tightened that eyepiece securly and was now working on the next, but now with one in and finished it seemed to make the other a little more difficult to pop in; like with everything else that came in pairs. She grumbled something under her breath as the second lense finally popped in place. A triumphant smirk pursed her lips as she tightened the goggles. She slipped the goggled on her head and down into place across the bridge of her nose.

"Alright Glitch, turn the lights to the work room to full so I can test these puppies."

"Sure, but then I am throwing 'Pixie Sticks' at Nar Shadda. You need to eat, you can't just hover here all week. I can, but I don't require interaction to stay sane..."

"Glitch, you will never be the sane one between the two of us."

Gemma laughed lightly as the lights flashed into life. The goggles took only a second to dim the light so Gemma could see properly. Gemma spun away from the workbench and shifted her stumps for ankles into their mettalic boots. A quick hiss from a piston and a loud clank of metal signalled that they were securely in place. Gemma stood up and walked around the room a little; she danced a little in the middle of the empty room for her own personal victory.

"Yes Glitch, send the 'Pixie Sticks' home. We are almost out of supplies anyways. I should also probably pick up another job while I am down there."

The Dust Runner shifted slowly through space at first, but quickly gained its rhythm and lowered into Nar Shaddaa atmosphere. It took almost ten minutes before the Dust Runner was safely landed and Gemma was packing her things into a small backpack. She slid Glitch into the pouch resting on the small of her back; her blasters ended up in their holsters at each of her hips and just before leaving she gripped her flight jacket and tossed it around her shoulders.

Gemma always took different paths when it came to walking the streets of Nar Shaddaa; she made it a habit of not being too familiar with people. She wanted to be able to remember paths, but didn’t want people to be able to identify her. She walked for almost ten minutes to get down a new street where she came across a weapons shop and thought that it could be a potential place for some small jobs and even a place to make some contacts; she headed inside.

She pushed the door open and sauntered in casually. Her eyes immediately went to around the shop looking around the various toys hanging on the walls or on display ontop a table. She wondered how she didn’t see the two Hutts by the counter first, but didn’t make any sudden moves that would be seen as a threat.

“Oh, hello there… um, I didn’t know you were with somebody… I can wait. I will be over here looking at your toys.”

She offered a simple smile and walked to the far corner that carried various small firearms.

Stroking his beard, Nodja gave his response to his fellow Hutt's offer whilst glancing at the hoversled.

<"Oh I can do that, and it would not be first time I've been asked to do so."

Soon enough, a more Humanoid voice caught the hairy Hutt's attention. Turning to this new customer, the Enforcer once more spoke; this time in, what should be, Basic.

"Una gwan a do dat den, if yuh wan buy sumting or yaffi qwestyan, den yuh feh lemme know so mi can 'elp yuh. No try steahl sumting, lest yah mus wan ded."

Nodja then returned his attention to Arok, speaking his considerably more intelligible Huttese. As he spoke, he reached for his own datapad to take note of precise details for the coming deal.

<"Now then, lets go down to the first vital details of defence; what shielding do you seek for your transport. Also, what manner off trigger do you want for them; I personally recommend a kinetic mechanism that triggers the shield when a shot gets near. That way, not only do you conserve energy, you can also surprise an assailant, giving your own allies a chance to land a shot of their own.">

Stroking his beard, Nodja responded to Arok's proposition whilst glancing at the hoversled. <"Oh I can do that, and it would not be first time I've been asked to do so.>". Just as Arok was about to reply the doorway hissed open and what seemed to be a Human female stepped into the shop. She seemed drawn like a magnet to the various gear around her and only noticed the two Hutts after a few seconds “Oh, hello there… um, I didn’t know you were with somebody… I can wait. I will be over here looking at your toys.” she said with some embarrassment and trepidation as she made her way to a corner.

"Una gwan a do dat den, if yuh wan buy sumting or yaffi qwestyan, den yuh feh lemme know so mi can 'elp yuh. No try steahl sumting, lest yah mus wan ded." I trust you know what you are doing, and will provide me with the top of the line and most efficient gear.>" Arok then laughed out loud, his jowels shaking with the action "<All for a suitable price, is that not so my dear friend?>"

“If I have any questions I can ask, gotcha!”

Gemma took her time to look through all the different glass counters and armaments hanging from the walls. She took her datapad out of the pouch strapped to the middle of her back. Glitch whirred to life. A small array of blue lights poured out of the datapad and created a small droid that resembled a protocol droid.

“Start running translators and warn me of any funny business.”

The datapad beeped once as Gemma turned from the datapad to the Hutts. She couldn't help feel a little out of place, but it was because she was the third wheel. She was never one for patience, but knew business is business.

“Neither of you mind if I get my datapad to translate do you? I know it is rude, but a woman’s gotta protect herself, right?”

She shot the Hutt with the beard a playful wink from her corner in the store. She walked slowly from one side of the store to the other. She was doing her best not to be impatient, but it wasn’t working as well as she wanted.

“Gem-12, they are talking about modifying something. They are talking about types of shielding. The bearded one mentioned a kinetic system.”

Gemma smiled nicely as swayed her head to the Hutt in charge. There was no doubt that Glitch was heard. He had a bad habit of getting Gemma into trouble.

“I am sorry, that was rude of him. Your talking shielding and using a kinetic type? I would suggest a molecular variant myself, but I do not know the size requirements of this shield. Again, sorry to interrupt.”

She managed to get to the opposite side of the store and picked up a small hand blaster and then compared it to her own before replacing both to their original places.

<"I can work with that,> an mi nah mine yuh usin' da ting; maffi she dat ii nah necessary

Said Nodja with a chuckle; after, the voice of the female caught his attention. She had enquired as to whether or not she could activate her translator. As he said what he said, the Hairy Hutt didn't mind, but it was necessary to assure her that their was little need to do so. The thing then buzzed with what he had spoken to Arok; not that he really cared. He then returned his attention to his fellow Hutt.

<"We can discuss payment when the job is done; to make for better customer service is to make for better business.">

As much as he adhered to this principle, Nodja was no fool; it was good a idea for him to keep out his blasters to show that he was ready should they try to stab him in the back. He then turned towards the other customer, speaking in his peculiar take on Basic.

"Yuh wan mek some creds? Affi need of 'ands tah mek de wuk a go fastah."

Gemma smile attempted to cover her excitement, but she wasn’t sure how well it was working. She cautiously walked over to the two hutts, not knowing if she was being included into the conversation or not. She slipped the datapad between the other two on the counter and tapped the screen.

“Glitch, show these two gentlemen Wheel’s Wares.”

The datapad then created a small blue lights that shifted into various creations of Gemma’s. Her Solarflare goggles, Hover Discs and then her Utility Wheels.

“I only have a few creations of my own right now, but that doesn’t mean this pretty face isn’t working when nobody’s watching.”

She leaned onto the counter and new full well that either of the hutts could most likely see down her shirt. Old habits die hard.

“Mobility seems to be a specialty of mine. Speed is nothing for me to increase… if the client has the right parts that is. Oh, sorry to answer your question. Yes, I am looking for a job.”

She offered a whimsical smile of hope as Glitch continued to scroll through her limited archives.

The strange woman started browsing through Nodja's wares while she fiddled with her datapad. Presently blue holographic light poured from the small portable device and formed the image of a small protocol droid. Arok raised his eyebrow with appreciation he would have to get one of those for himself.

As she murmured to herself and the hologram, she seemed a little restless and to Arok's experienced eye she was itching to hear what they were speaking about. Good thing we are speaking Huttese and not this mongrel language that these puny humanoids call Basic he thought to himself as he turned his attention back to the Hutt in front of himself.

"Neither of you mind if I get my datapad to translate do you? I know it is rude, but a woman's gotta protect herself, right?" she suddenly asked them while winking at Nodja playfully, while she tried, impotently, to contain her impatience.

Her datapad whirred into motioned and with a beep suddenly recorded their conversation and translated it very vocally. Arok raised his eyebrows once again at that and was about to motion to Shijo to take care of her and teach her a lesson when she apologized.

"I am sorry, that was rude of him. Your talking shielding and using a kinetic type? I would suggest a molecular variant myself, but I do not know the size requirements of this shield. Again, sorry to interrupt" she said as she bashfully played with a blaster pistol lying on one of the benches.

"<I can work with that>" Nodja replied before Arok had a chance to reply, he then continued in his weird version of basic and answered the woman "an mi nah mine yuh usin' da ting; maffi she dat ii nah necessary" he chuckled before once again turning back to Arok.

"<We can discuss payment when the job is done; to make for better customer service is to make for better business>" he told Arok guardedly before turning to the weird woman who had barged in unexpectedly "Yuh wan mek some cred? Affi need of 'ands tah mek de wuk a go fastah"

With a smile that barely covered her apparent excitement, the woman turned to the datapad/droid "Glitch, show these two gentlemen Wheel's Wares". The droid obligingly shifted into various different ideas, schematics and prototypes that this woman had invented or claimed she did, at any rate. There seemed to be some sort of goggles, a hover disc and something termed a Utility wheel.

After this show she turned back to them and said "I only have a few creations of my own right now, but that doesn't mean this pretty face isn't working when nobody's watching" leaning forward in a laughable attempt to use her well sculpted and shapely body to give her an advantage she then turned to Nodja and continued "Mobility seems to be a specialty of mine. Speed is nothing for me to increase If the client has the right parts that is. Oh, sorry to answer your question. Yes, I am looking for a job"

Arok didn't know what to make of this strange woman; she seemed very flighty and full of ideas but not very grounded. While she certainly seemed to have the smarts and the knowledge he was worried that she couldn't handle the stress of Nar Shadda and the Cartel after all, a tool that would break the first time it was used was worthless!

It did help him that Nodja seemed to think she was capable, and another Hutt's recommendation (of sorts) was good enough for him to take a chance. Speaking to Nodja he grinned at him with appreciation "<Your business acumen is much appreciated, and it is noted. I will be sure to remember it in the future your skill and knowledge will be sung from the entire moon! IF you meet up to your reputation>"

He inhaled slowly from his Hookah and motioned for Shijo to join him, "<3D-4Z you work out the details for the weapons and armor we need and pay this most esteemed Hutt, we will return all too soon to see his handiwork>" he bowed his head towards the bearded Hutt and then turned towards the woman.

"<I see you have some skill with technology, inventions and computers. How would you like to join my organization and work for me? If your interested just send 3D-4Z here a call on this number and I'll be happy to meet you and talk some business.>"

He smiled and let out a huge billow of smoke before continuing "<I foresee for you a great and prosperous career in Nar Shadda at my side>" his sinister smile letting her know exactly what her career would amount to if she didn't join him. "<I look forward to seeing you soon enough>" As his droid stepped out and started to translate what Arok had said, he was cut off with a small growl and the droid meekly walked after the Hutt.

Nodja certainly knew precisely the hidden context behind Arok's words; himself having fallen prey to the intrigues that Hutts play even upon each other. However, he did perfectly understand the necessity for an aspiring Hutt to make sure his personal assets were secure in many ways so as to not appear weak in the eyes of his peers. The hairy Hutt cared little for the politics of his kind, unless it directly affected him; growing up outside of a Kajidiic tends to do that to anyone. He could also see that the Human before them was somewhat flighty; a young one no doubt, so full of ideas yet not sure which one they should adhere to. Given the mentions of her speciality, Nodja knew which areas she could work one; it will bequeath greater focus and a more honed outlet for her ideas.

"Come closah, affi listen t'all dis tah know wah me bruddah wan do. Mi a go do di boomas and wah not, and a you wuk on di mobility."

He said, waiting for Arok's droid to give greater details on the job at hand; it would be very unwise to begin a job without seeing precisely what the client desires.

With depressing slowness the ship pressed into the ground, it's vast bulk kicking up a cloud of dust and crushing a small rat like creature as it did so. Nobody would really miss the Rat creature, but no doubt it would be hell to remove the stains from the landing gear in a few days time. The Vesajilic Bounty was not by any stretch of the magnetization a good looking ship, but it served it's purpose well.

The door came down with an unsubtle *thunk* as a motley duo exited the transport, a man and a Hutt, the man looking considerably worse for wear from the travelling experience than his sluggish counterpart. Bending over double once he got to the end of the landing bay Vilmark Rennow threw up violently over the side of the landing bay before righting himself as the Hutt Yur’baal Vesajilic Barunda joined him on the platform.

''I'm just fracking brilliant before you ask.'' he coughed, walking toward to speeders without so much as a passing comment.

It was not long before the Hutt and his human associate made it to the shop they had been looking for, a venue owned by a certain Nodja.

Walking in, it was Yur'baal who spoke first, his voice nazal as always, ''Good Day Gentleman, when you have the time, I was wondering' if you could help us?''

Arok glided towards the doors of Nodja's establishment, his mind full of possibilities and opportunities given the proclivities and occupation that Nodja was a part of. His mind whirled forward to all sorts of ways to increase his personal wealth and individual power in the cutthroat world of the Hutt Cartel. Especially since his own position as Borga's heir apparent and the would be leader of the Vosadii was imperiled due to his own failings a few centuries ago, but in Hutt memories fifty years was a blink of an eye. There were even rumors of certain Hutts living to almost a thousand years old, thanks to biological or mechanical means, and those were the scariest individuals of all - with the weight of over millennia of criminal enterprises under their belt, they commanded respect and fear in equal measures.

So stuck was he in his own personal musings and thoughts that he nearly missed the sharp whip of the cold air that whooshed into the store as its glasssteel panels swept open silently and admit am irate and scowling Twi'lek and another younger looking Hutt into the establishment. Arok raised his eyes at this unexpected development, especially since he prided himself on knowing who the upcoming and major players in the Cartel were, and this Hutt was unknown factor in Hutt circles and evidently a newcomer to the galactic scene.

He glanced at the Twi'lek appraisingly, sweeping him up and down and assessing his potentiality as an ally or possible informant, or as a staunch enemy and thorn. The Twi'lek looked to be around five foot, eight and was a little heavy in the stomach area despite the attempt at hiding it behind tough looking armor and wicked looking weapons. Arok couldn't decide if this was a civil servant, and Majordomo type or an old family guard who had outlived his prime and passed his days guarding a small family of Hutts, which would say something about the Huttlet who approached him now.

This Hutt was like Arok himself grossly overweight, something that either meant he liked to party and indulged himself in a hedonistic lifestyle, or he was from a powerful and old family that afforded him the ability to sit back and live off the wealth and power of his superiors. Actualy, Arok thought wryly to himself, he might be both, and thus somebody to watch carefully in the future. Especially since he was present in a weapon master's consortium - that was not something that a hedonistic and slothful Hutt was won't to do.

While 3D-4Z settled the accounts with Nodja, and gave him the specifications and minutiae of what Arok expected from his new hoversled and purchased an assortment of arms and armors from the weapons master, Arok turned to the newcomers and with a bow of his head to this unknown Hutt he introduced himself. "<Greetings, I unfortunately haven't had the pleasure of being introduced to you. It is a rare turn of events when I see a Hutt that I haven't heard off, or recognized. My name is Arok Vosadii Pronda, Your Excellency...?>" he trailed off, in an attempt to find out the unkown Hutt.

Gemma quickly set to work on the hoversled components required. She left Glitch on the glass countertop as she read through the list. It was a fairly simple one, but precise in intent. With some simple modifications Gemma could easily improve what was asked for, if the parts were available. She turned to the Hutt behind the counter and offered an innocent smile.

"Are there keys to the back room where I can work, or do you not trust the pretty face and are going to get a droid to fetch everything for me?"

She laughed lightly at the end to ensure that the Hutt would get that she was joking. In mid-laugh, the doors whooshed open and another person walked in, followed by yet another hutt. For somebody who was just looking to get some form of job, she surely was going to get her name out today.

"You can call me wheels!"

She offered from across the room in the same innocent voice. It was a simple thing to feign innocents in conversation. She knew that cartel members understood the need for preserving an image sometimes.

Seeing the other Hutt, reclining on its Hoversledge, Yur'baal inclined his bulbous head in recognition, before speaking <''A pleasure to make your acquaintance Arok, my name is Yur’baal Vesajilic Barunda.''>

Moving over toward the owner of the venue, he spoke once more. <''I am looking to outfit my vessel outside, for the transportation of 'workers' to my Brothers Shvash Mines on the Glorious Jewel, Nal Hutta, I was wondering if we might come to some form of arrangement?''>

Shifting slightly, Vilmark nodded respectfully to Arok, and whispered to Yur'baal, causing the young Hutt's eyes to widen considerably. <''But of course, Arok, I knew I had heard the name before. Clan Vosadii, House Pronda, none other than a relative of his most reverberate majesty, Borga himself. Excuse and pardon my manners, I have been away from the Capitol for some time, and was not aware you had been in the area, after your kins....obscurity of late.''>

Gesturing to the counter, at which he could see the bearded Hutt, and the non-Hutt also, he spoke once more <''A most auspicious occassion for three Hutts to meet I feel, for are you not, Arok, well placed in the trading of Slaves? A savvy mind tells me, the three of us, and our non-Hutt friend here, may be able to make some sort of arrangement.''>
