Short Version: Dual Mission Pack shared between GAR and Senate, focused on getting Umbara/New Apsolon into the Republic (P10)
Long Version: Two combat, two diplomacy. This will be a first test of a 'two birds, one stone' method wherein we can get multiple and different threads going at once to quickly snap up neutral grids, or otherwise be a pain in the arse on contested grids. An all-combat or an all-diplomacy mission pack would just take too long to slowly work through four of each, particularly with our low numbers and high potential for flakiness. By focusing the efforts of both sub-factions in one area, we're appealing to both parties and actually looking we're doing something.
P10 is nestled nicely along on our borders to the east. Umbara, thanks largely to the excellent Clone Wars episodes there, is a rather recent but iconic world in the Star Wars EU. We know it becomes part of the Republic eventually. Also, I could easily see a Sith arrpee'rs reading the Legends 'Shadow Warriors of Umbara' thing and wanting do that. Better we get it sooner rather than later. Our borders need securing ASAP once people realise that hyperspace lanes don't actually matter. New Apsolon also has some potential, even if the existing lore is all Legends (not like that's ever stopped people using it for planets this timeline).
Obviously we talked about this on Skype a bit but getting it down in writing usually helps us solidify these things. I can get Combat Missions written up within about ten minutes if we agree to sign-off on this.
