The amount of work you put in to your faction doesn't mean that other people are required to put that much minute detail in to theirs. They are governed by the rules of the site, not by what others have done for their own factions. This faction, and every other faction, ony has to answer to the site rules, as dictated by basic logic. Not trying to step on your toes here, but it is entirely your own choice to have your feelings hurt. Did you make you faction because you wanted a chore, or because you wanted tocreate a place for like minded people to enjoy Roleplay?

At the end of the day, this is a Roleplay site, and this faction facilitates Roleplay, while following all of the site rules. Dont take it personally because it wasn't meant personally, as the faction leaders have mentioned multiple times.

That's all that matter, factions are supposed to comply with rules, not be concerned with whether or not they're hurting anyone's feelings.

This just seems like people are getting hurt over the fact that they put a lot more time into their own factions ICly than was put into this one, but as Starburns and others have mentioned, this is a faction that could grow ICly instead of having things decided have it grow naturally. It doesn't seem that there is a lot of points to argue, it follows the rules... maybe to a minimalistic format and with not so much detail, but how does that break the rules? If i put 50 words in my personality of a character than its ok... i don't need to break into 1000 words, but i might... seems like the same issue here...

This faction is unapproved until such time as more effort is put into it. Lavi will be working with the creators on that.

Here's the problem with the "we're following the rules, so it doesn't matter about the detail" argument - that's not the standard that the staff holds other factions to. I don't think it's fair to anyone else to hold factions to higher standards, standards which I think are good and fair, but then hold this faction to a much lower standard. If this faction wants to exist - and it's totally fine for it to exist - it needs to put in the same effort as anyone else.

At this point we are responding to you as a courtesy, you do understand? I have spoken to Lavi. We're on the same page. I have looked over the rules again (lawyered) and Kyle (who wrote this thing) and I have asked others who have made Indie factions.

Again, I'm legit sorry you don't like it. This was meant to get everyone involved. But at some point you're basically the drunk guy at the wedding who is sad Christy didn't marry you. Maybe she'll come around one day. Maybe she won't.

And? I didn't say that this was what Pros was doing, it's his, Ky's, and Johnny's show. I was just saying I don't see the reason to get upset about a lack of detail for what's more of a loose coalition, that hasn't had any IC interactions yet. There's different avenues they can take to flesh it out, if they so choose. If not, why does it really matter? The purpose is clear, the intent is clear, the membership is clear. Everything else can be handled via expansion requests when it's needed.

That way, every action this group does can be followed by the statement, 'Classic SHEEV.'
