The Orcish realm of Orsimer Prime had once been the seat of a minor interstellar empire. Orsimer Prime, Orsimer Secundus, and the smaller Orc colonies had secured their small, warrior-like clans an entire star system. Yet, over time, their powers dwindled. They gave way to their traditions, rather than technology. Capital ships and space stations were reconstructed into temples and shrines. The Orcs returned, slowly, to their pastoralist, hunter way. Some turned nomadic, into raiders and hunters of fearsome renown. Others became loggers. Some shamans. Many, many, became warriors, fighting for control of their ancestral relics. Honorable. Proud. Stubborn. Stupid.

Not all Orcs wanted to live this way. Some wanted to see their ancient empire reborn. Some wanted to expand beyond their puny system, and subjugate the galaxy itself. It was one such Orc that reached out to the galaxy, now. Born sickly and weak, it was absorbing a dark site nexus beneath a mass grave that sustained his strength. His first taste of the Dark was his favorite. Now a clan shaman for a tribe of occult priests, he used their power to scry out into the galaxy. He searched for a font of Darkness. He asked for power. He promised fealty.

Now, Vossari and Karys were on the way to Orsimer's surface. "You know anything about these 'Orcs,' before we go in?" They were supposed to be big, right? Like Karys? "I hear they're good at the elemental uses of the Force." He shrugged, kicking back into his cot aboard Karys's ship.
