Intent:To create a fluffy, non-lethal weapon that allowes non force users to engage in combat with force users, to level the playing field and add a different level on concussion grenade to the game. To also create an escape weapon for those sneaky sorts who might find them selves caught short

Description: The Black Marble's origins stem from the heyday of the Sith Empire as a shock and awe weapon that non-force users could to deploy against Sith Combatants in the arena trials for the Sacred Band of Zoist, used to tip the balance of duels in their favour, the weapons of old were large stick type grenades that when deployed create a pulse designed overload neural pathways with as much information as possible through sound, light and pressure similar in many ways it acts like a flash bang but the effects are much more profound causing severe nausea and disorientation to those not protected from its effects, the key effect of the weapon is to scramble the mind of the intended target which is especially useful against force uses as it interferes with their ability to focus and manipulate the force given the Sacred Band Members the opportunity to strike.
In modern use the devices have been reduced in size to easy to conceal Marbles, perfect for covert missions and sudden ambushes they are usually deployed as a swarm where they are more effective in creating a difficult to avoid field effect which is useful for clearing rooms and incapacitating multiple targets at once. Along side the grenades a simple set of dampening ear pieces have been developed to allow users to detonate the Black Marbles in close proximity to themselves, the weapon is best deployed against unarmoured foes and the effects can be negated if full helmet is worn with sound filtration systems.
