Go for it, after everyone's made a post I'll put the post with Thelonious showing how to make the disarming slash and start putting up separate duel threads in which the Knights can watch over the padawans and stuff... any preference on who fights who?

I would just make your post now. Padawans can always react, the teacher is more important

As for fighting, I'd put us with close age/ experiance

Okay, forgive me but I'm confused. I thought we had an official posting order.

Posting order for padawans.
Teachers can intercept and answer questions as needed in-between.
Observers don't need a posting order since they can make observations as desired.

So we have another person joining us. He's likely gonna walk in, then I plan on duelling with him in our separate RP boards. (I saved his life, trying to get him to not hate Jedi. The usual.)
Afterwards I'll offer an apprenticeship with someone I deem to be a good match.
