Nothing was more miserable for Thalia other than being stranded for days at a time. Her ship needed repairs, it was practically being held together with chewing gum at this point. She thought the next best thing was to save up and get a new ship, but that was near impossible as she lived on the bare minimum in order to get by day to day. She was lucky to get a job a few days or so, but it wasn't paying enough, she needed more, something bigger, something riskier. Something of course that will tie her into a contract before she could decide it was a bad idea.
So she was at the point she would do anything short of joining a strip club to earn credits and now she was in a speeder with other thieves as they rushed to their next destination. She managed to convince herself this work was fine, after all she stole from the dead, taking belongings and selling them with elaborate stories in order to get a bigger payout from eager buyers. This work though, was similar, expect they were still living, probably armed, while she only had her blaster, her satchel, and the skill of being small and nimble to fit into places most could not reach. It was probably why they chose to bring her along since she certainly did not look like she belonged in their group.
The speeder slowed and descended into the lower levels of the city and eventually came to a stop a couple blocks from the redezvous point. Thalia knew this was where she would exit the speeder and one of the thugs flicked her a comm device, "Call us when you're in." he grumbled, the words barely audible as they rose from his throat. The teen nodded and pocketed the device and continued on her way while the others would wait. She wasn't too sure on the details, other than the location and she needed to get inside to let the rest in, that's all her job would be they had assured her as much, but as far as to who owned this building, Thalia did not know, but she imagined someone with credits or else why would they strike there. Quietly she approached the building that reminded her of the shops from her home growing up, empty lower level, but upstairs looked as though it were occupied.
And so, she begun to look for a way inside.
