[SUBJECT SUMMARY]
The basis of 8L4K-E's programming is open source and common among custom droid enthusiasts, aimed towards those who wished to create something resembling a librarian droid. Storage of data and information were some of the few primary protocols of such droids, as well as the lightning fast retrieval of information, no matter how deep in its memory it must search. With the rise of data-file torrent use among the shadier elements of galactic society, droid programming sources with modifications ranging from minor to nearly unrecognizable became commonplace. It is from those depths of the droid programming underbelly that 8L4K-E arose.

Nicknamed 'Blake' by SBZ war-fighters, it served as a combat holographer. Blake's primary function was to observe skirmishes with Border Alliance forces in order to produce propaganda holovids to distribute among the few living under Sith rule, in addition to gathering first-hand intelligence on the battlefield. The droid is frequently tasked with assignments by the Serenno Office of Propaganda. Unlike many traditional combat holographers used by the Border Alliance, Blake is always armed and has secondary programming as a battle droid.

BIOGRAPHY​

Ailill was brought into the galaxy with the odds stacked against him. He was riddled with disorders and ailments, solar urticarial chief among them. Ailill's parents, both pureblood Corellians living on Onderon, struggled to bring in enough income from their custodial droid maintenance jobs to pay for his medical expenses. When conventional treatments to cure their teenaged son's solar urticaria failed they desperately turned to more experimental methods. If anything, his condition was worsened by pseudo-medicine and home remedies. Determined to give Ailill the best opportunity they could they worked long hours in addition to odd jobs to put him through a private school that could adapt to his condition. In a last ditch effort to give Ailill a fighting chance, they spent their life savings on a protective suit that would shield him from harmful light.

His parents cared for him very much, but they weren't exactly optimistic about Ailill. He had lived long past the expected lifespan of a boy with such conditions. In social gatherings they were very open about how little hope they had for Ailill's future. They discouraged him from making friends or pursuing a better education through trade schools. They were a dark cloud over his human potential. As a young adult Ailill struck out on his own. Fed up with his parent's lack of confidence in their own child's ability to succeed in the galaxy, he hopped onto a Startours shuttle and fled. Ailill is now hellbent on finding his own way in the galaxy with the mindset that the only thing that can stop him is himself.

Regardless of his relationship with his parents, Ailill recognizes that he was a large financial burden and wires them any money he makes. He loves them greatly and is thankful for the chance at life that they gave him. His youthfulness has caused a slight rebellious streak in his personality, but deep down his only goal is to make them proud.[/fancybox2]

LIFE WITH SOLAR URTICARIA​

"I hate the dark."​

Solar urticaria is classified as the rare condition in which exposure to ultraviolet, and sometimes even visible, light can induce cases of painful blisters and hives on unprotected areas of skin. Ailill has lived with an extreme case of the already rare disease since the beginnings of infancy. His condition developed further into his teens, then plateaued at a peak at the age of sixteen. He was forced to live a near nocturnal life, only able to attend school late in the evening. Ailill had to wear special ultraviolet resistent clothing and ultraviolet film had to be fitted onto the windows of his home to protect him from harmful sunlight.

In its current state, Ailill's solar urticaria causes lesions, blisters, and hives of such intensity when exposed to ultraviolet light that he is unable to perform simple tasks. The protective suit he wears is the only thing that gives him the ability to leave the darkness.[/fancybox4]

Summary

“Story time is normally for my kids. I’ll keep it short and simple. Some idiot of a Jedi tried to snatched me from the cradle back on Yanibar. My Umbaran old man wasn’t too pleased. He and some family-friends ended up shooting that Jedi full of holes. I was returned to the cradle and raised in the Zeison Sha community as planned. See, the whole idea of being a Zeison Sha is the community and its foundation, your family. I had a wife, adorable twins, a home, the whole package. I was a respected Zeison Sha Warrior, an example and role model to my peers. Another idiot of a Jedi came poking around looking to snatch a baby, and this time it was mine. He took both of my kids in the night like a coward. My wife died of a broken heart not long after.

Long story short, I left my community on a whim and found myself on Korriban. I believe it was the Force calling me here. I’ve since found my purpose in this life. I am a hunter of Jedi, a dark Zeison Sha. Nobody’s children are getting snatched on my watch.”
