Relying more on agility than brute force, his skills may be rendered useless against an armored opponent.

PETS:
A Jax he kept with him since childhood named Jumper.

PERSONALITY:
Although usually reasonable, Skip is known for his tendency to go to extremes, such as either proclaiming undying loyalty to someone who saved his life, or vowing revenge against anyone who wronged him. Due to the loss of his parents, his only family, Skip tends to shy away from any attachment beyond friendship. However, he loves animals and bonds easily with them, even the seemingly horrifying creatures. Although temper is not necessarily an issue, he can get carried away at times if a particular fight entertains him, wether it be on land or in space. Due to his Echani background, he is a man of few words, which can at times be irritating.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born 1,004 ABY, Piksley Hanover Hopper was son of Hanover and Hailey Hopper. His family lived on Malastare for the majority of his childhood. Like most of his species, he believed actions speak louder than words, for the most part, that meant his combat defined him more than his use of words. He trained day and night, not for any particular reason, just to be ready for whenever a fight presented itself. He was raised by his parents to despise Mandalorians, keeping up the rivalry between the two Near-Humans throughout the generations. This hatred never really found its way to Piksley's heart until he turned 12. After his father 'accidentaly' killed a man in Mando garb, who in fact wasn't Mandalorian at all, the dead man's employer, a Mandalorian, retaliated by attacking their household with a gang of mercenaries. Piksley fled the home as they arrived, but his parents were burned to death along with their house. After that day, Piksley truly hated Mandalorians. He swore revenge on his parents' killer, and set out to find him. Over the course of a year, Piksley tried to dig into some of the minor smuggling operations on Malastare under the alias Skip. Piksley began to get mixed up in the illegal trade while searching for the Mandalorian. Piksley, now abandoning his old life for the life of a smuggler, became Skip permanently. Skip worked as a fighter escort for a small band of smugglers based near Malastare. When he was brought to his mysterious employer to receive a promotion, he recognized the man as the murderer. Named Vander Cross, Skip kept his cover until the time was right. By age sixteen, he was a valued member of the Shades, Cross's gang. One day, Cross called him into the office, where he tried to kill Skip. Having finally recognized him after a key phrase, Cross and Skip fought it out on the bridge of Cross's cruiser the Bone Pile. Skip easily won the trade of fists due to his practice, but Cross deemed Skip a traitor and has the other members of the Shades beat him down. Skip was jettisoned from the Bone Pile, only to land on Malastare once more, with severe injuries. For a year, he healed and resumed his hunt for Cross, although more cautious as to not raise suspicions. Later, he acquired a small fighter from a junkyard dealer and left Malastare for good. Coming into contact with his old flying buddy Hal, Skip managed to win over some of Cross' gang members, and caused a gang civil war. As Hal led the dogfight outside, Skip once again faced off against Cross. Momentarily shocked by Hal's fiery death, along with nearly every member of the Shades, Cross managed to escape in his crippled fighter, while Skip barely made it out of the gravitational pull of a binary star system, the remaining gang members weren't so lucky. Having effectively destroyed Cross' operation in one day, Skip gave chase to end Cross, but stopped short when the former smuggler falsified documents and went under the Imperium's wing as a low ranking officer. Out of options, Skip ended his bloodthirsty hunt for Cross and left the inner worlds. At age 19, Skip would find a new way to get to Cross, by joining the Rebellion. Serving as a pilot, he hopes to one day cross paths with his parents killer and finally redeem himself, both for his parents and the pilots who died for his cause.
