Playmates And Sweet Cakes

Mira looked around the Temple Gardens observing all the new things she had never seen on her home planet of Tatooine. these new things happened to be green plants she looked at a particularly big tree and wondered if she could climb it. She never climbed a tree before but it couldn't be any harder then climbing rocks was the thought that had crossed her mind she got her small, thin, body to grip the tree and started to climb reaching for different branches she reached the top and gazed at the garden below her after taking in the view she realized something terrible. She was stuck and she wasn't sure how to get down from such a height without hurting herself. "Oh no..How am I supposed to get down from here? There's no way I could jump down without breaking a few bones.." Mira pondered her situation before trying to call out to anyone with the Force hoping a Jedi or Temple Guard would sense her distress and if all else failed she could just scream. All Mira knew for certain she was going to be in a lot of trouble once she got down.

"hhhmm"

The old man vocalized aloud, just enough for someone only a few feet away would hear. Watching the girl so eagerly climb the tree he smirked....it seemed as if just yesterday a young padawan he had met amidst the gardens, too climb the same tree and got stuck. Her memory was seeded into his mind, he got to know her shortly before she vanished. But none the less this was the now, and not some faint thought in the senile mind playing tricks.

Rising to his feet he shuffled slowly but surely towards the young woman taking note she had realized her present predicament she was in. His staff soft yet firmly clashed against the ground with each step. He could feel a sense of fear, a sense of insecurity vining from the young child, but hoped she wasn't going to become even more afraid with an elderly man try to come to the rescue.

"Don't fret little one..."

He huffed as he approached from behind her.

"I will see what I can do...hmmmm?"

The man pondered after reaching the goliaths base.

"Well you can't cling down I can see.....well maybe I can come get you..."

Sluggishly the old man ascended the tree, huffing and puffing with every movement, grunting with every inch gained.

"Idk how you kids do this....but I'm too old for this kind of activities"

After a slothlile pace the man climbed up to the young woman's placement. Holding on firmly he looked over the grounds, or rather as much as the tree allowed them too.

"Wonderful....ain't it?..."

Looking down he began to see her concern with the location, chuckling he replied

"Well I can see what you mean. Quit a ways up, doesn't look so far till you get here..oh my apologies"

Turnning to the little lady he reached out in her direction, with a kind grin and a gentle smile from his eyes he introduced himself

"My name is Kip...Kip Koom....and who might you be young lady?"

She smiled happily at him "my name is Mira Starwind I just came to the temple a few days ago and I kinda..left my master, well he's not really my master yet but he's taught me lots of things his name is Jalen Kron he's super cool..like you sir you're really cool too." A light blush spreads across her face seemingly embarrassed by how much she was talking then a loud series of chirps and beeps can be heard from down below they came from a green and white astromech Mira's face lit up "RZ! You've found us! Don't worry we can get down you don't have to worry!" RZ beeps more still worried about his young master doing something foolish. Mira scans the area below her. "There's twon branches we can get to and then we can easily climb down without having to break anything if we fall but, we might have to jump a bit..it's only..4 feet down but you'll be ok right?" Mira begins to slowly get down from the branch she dangle a bit before dropping to the next branch below her she calls up to you "Can you get down from there? the branch is sturdy so it'll be ok..I think."

Kip smiled joyfully as the young girl confidently introduced herself.

"Hhmmmm, yes, yes."

He replied.

"I know of your friend, he's a good man, a good Jedi indeed."

Kip sat for a brief moment remembering his long fought journey from his first days as a force user, to working his way to becoming a Sith Lord in the Army of Darkness to be reborn as a Jedi, to his present place as a General amidst the Army of light. He knew the young girl probably knew not of he was, and he was quit fine with that. Kip loved being able to have a mutual friendly conversation rather than others being upright and to responsive.

Watching the young girl descend from the tree he saw a small glimpse of himself, only for a brief moment.

"Yes, it seems to be quit easy"

He replied. Slowly he began to follow suit of Mira, only to lose his footing causing him to slip and fall only to barely catch himself but was soon finding himself arse first amongst the grass. Laughing allowed and whole heartedly The General sat looking around to see if anyone seen his tumble,

"Well that's one way to do it"
*sigh*
"I remember the days when many younglings roamed the temple grounds....many like yourself."

Kip began to reminisce allowed.

"I mean yes, the Order was about rules and regulations and committing oneself into the light....but that didn't mean you couldn't have... a little fun...."

Looking to Mira he smirked only for a second before his glance was moved towards the main structure.

"I don't know what happened....after many events?....it all....changed....don't take this for granted....life I mean....its a gift that can always be taken at any moment."

Kip spoke from his heart, not intending to scare or frighten the girl. Just to broaden her sight on life.

"Enjoy the little things....and the little things will enjoy you."

Returning to his feet the Jedi returned his attention to the young girl.

"That was quit an adventure."

Kip smiled.

"Enough memory to last a life time."

Mira grins and jumps down RZ chirps at her and circles her seeing if she was injured. "This is RZ-68 he's my astromech he's a worrywort but that just shows he cares. Um you're a Master right? I'm sorry for not addressing you properly." Mira looks at the ground shuffling her left foot awkwardly. Her head looks up and she smiles "Master Koom have you ever had a sweet cake? They're a Tatooine speciality my dad makes..well he used to make really good ones and I was wondering..do you want to make them with me?"

With amusement the Jedi watched as the RZ unit frantically rolled around him beeping and chirping.

"Quit the character you have here."

With a short pause Kip looked to the sky and back again.

"Yes my dear..... I once would be recognized as a master amidst the Jedi order...but those days are gone these days the Army of light was reformed and well we masters took up arms to aid the Galaxy in need.....Generals,..... Generals, we are now."

His face as if frozen in time.

"Sweat cakes?"

He swiftly replied.

"Sounds....tasty"

A grin appeared from ear to ear as he repositioned himself on his feet.

"And no worries little one. These days well....are in need of some INFormalities at times. "

Mira grabs your hand "well then, let's go to he kitchen I think they have the ingredients we need." once we head to the kitchen I grab some eggs, milk, oil, and flour. Mira mixes them in a bowl and makes circle shapes with them she fries with them up soon there are 4 sweet, light, and fluffy sweet cakes. I put two on a plate for you and I head to the gardens and I eat mine. "I was going to make some with my dad, but..he was killed by a Sith Lord..his name was Lord Marr..the Strange thing was though is that he knew my name..I wasn't Ms. Sateel like my dad..I was Ms. Starwind. Ah, I'm sorry I'm probably annoying you with my rambling..so, Master Koom do you have a favorite food?"

The General pondered on what the young girl was presenting, becoming more and more intrigued with every word.

"Hhhmmmmmm......Was your father a force sensitive like you?...."

Kip looked to the young girl for an expression if not an answer.

"Why was taken from you if you don't mind me asking..."

The Jedi didn't want to bring back old painful memories but he was interested in finding more information about the young girl."

Chuckling The Neti looked to the sky and smirked.

"Well dear, im...not quit like anything you've met. You see I'm well how could you say it? A sentient form of flora?....I only need sun....and a little water to survive....BUT! That doesn't stop me from enjoying such tasty 'sweat cakes' such as these"

He replied before taking a bite from the savory sweets infront of him. But deep inside kip couldn't let go of wondering about the girls past. Something was drawing his attention to the young girl more than he was comfortable with. Her past, the present and even the future.....all chasing in circles inside his head.

"Your master?....or....friend, is he around her?"

"Um well my dad was a droid shop owner from what I knew I never knew he was a Jedi. He had a..map Miss Kesiya called it a Starmap and a holocron in a secret room I wasn't supposed to go in but one day after he told me I couldn't go with a smuggler I went to my room and uh, threw a quiet hissy fit I guess. Then I heard lots of loud noises and a man called Lord Marr came and tried to kill my father he had another man with him but my dad cut him down with his blue lightsaber. Well Lord Marr killed my dad I managed to get out with the holocron and the Starmap and RZ followed me to a cantina where I had the smuggler fly me here and then Kesiya took me in then I found out I was Force-sensitive and now I'm trying to learn all I can so I can find this woman named Kira Ava'ne she's a Knight and she's got black hair in a braid and she's got reddish skin RZ had a holorecording of her and Kesiya..took that information to the higher ups I think and I'm not sure where Jalen is I think he's meditating somewhere." Mira finishes and takes a deep breath clearly exhausted from all that explaining. "So if your a plant-person how come your not green or that your hair is leaves your something like that?" Mira looks at you curiously finishing her first sweet cake.
