After stopping off at Corellia and making sure no tracking beacon was on his ship, Osman returned to the Coruscant temple. The Taung had taken him prisoner and let him go, so he could tell them of the story.

Osman had requested a meeting with the Masters, his story needed to be told. Right now he awaited the Council to allow him to enter.

The doors would slide open in front of him as the grandmaster would escape from between them. He rushed the man inside immediately without word. "You must tell us." The rest of his statement was a taset understanding. He stood feet across from the boy. They were forced to call only a few masters, the recording was on and Colm wished to waste no time.

"I was travelling to Naboo, and a signal went out to our ship. The captain brought me to the bridge because they had asked for a Jedi. When I arrived the raiders mentioned they had prisoners and were willing to kill them if I had not gone over to them. Well, I felt something strange but decided to try and save the Civilians. I left on a spare ship and landed in the hangar. When I exited there were armored soldiers and the hangar doors closed to leave me stranded. I gave my lightsabers to the head soldier."

Osman took a breath. "They were Taung. Unlike anything I ever felt before, they seemed proud and strong. All had little self-doubt. But let me continue. I was brought to a area which had many view screens, and met with a Warmaster. He was cordial but I sensed a strong hatred for me. They brought me to Mandalore. When we arrived they placed me in a cell with armed guards all around. Then, their leader, Mandalore, came with a medical droid. He insulted me and the Jedi Order, then took a blood sample. He let me go after that."

"I wasn't sure if they had put any tracking devices onto the ship they gave so I went to Corellia and had it checked. It was clear so I came back here."

"I see, and cold you tell us more about their society? What was their reaction to seeing you? Was there fear? Respect? Hate? We understand what has happened to you and that you are fine, but we must get to a more pressing matter. The enemy." The Jedi were now deep in the war. This mans knowledge could also prove useful.

"One had a severe idea of honor. Every action he took spoke volumes and volumes of arrogance. The Warmaster I met with, while he was cordial, I could feel hate from him, but I felt a little respect. I believe it was because I wasn't a Taung, but still a 'warrior' in some sense. The leader, Mandalore, he was arrogant and proud. He spoke to me as if I was a pathetic street rat and he a High-Rise senator. He did have a arguement with the Warmaster, that may indicate willingness for other Taung to fight superiors. When I was left alone before Mandalore and the Warmaster came back, I began to enter some of my guards' minds." Osman knew this was treading a line.

"I pierced the shell that they built to protect their minds, and noticed they were rather disturbed by my action. Most were more jittery when I had done so. While I know I shouldn't have done it, I believe the information might be useful. My general thoughts on the Taung I met: They are hardy warriors, with a hatred for anyone who waits to attack, very proud, to a point that we might be able to use that against them, and several Taung were willing to disobey their leaders for their own gain."

Osman had his hands to his sides.

He was off on business, though Haar had the time to sit down in front of his holo-projector and listen in to what Osman had to say. He silently admitted that it felt slightly unusual for him to be on the Council despite Osman being much older than himself, though the master kept that thought to himself as he listened through the projector. His bluish image was projected onto his seat within the Council, near the far end of the chamber.

"This 'Mandalore' you mentioned: is there something in his appearance that makes him stand out among the other Taung?"

The blood sample they took troubled him: just a blood sample and let him go? They could have made an attempt to kill him to eliminate one enemy on the battlefield, though Haar supposed it had something to do with the Taung's proud and/or honorable nature.

"He had a mask unlike the others. His helmet was more ornate, while others stuck with a basic T-Slit visor and colors. It was a darker gold, bronze almost." Osman turned to Haar's holo. "His own armor suit was a similar color as well."

"Did Mandalore discipline that war-master who argued with him?" he inquired further.

As far as Haar knew, no one else had met this Mandalore and lived to tell about it (other than the other taung and possibly the Hutts). It is imperative to understand this warrior.

"The Warmaster didn't require a disciplinary action. He said he got things done, and that may have been a insult to Mandalore, but he took no heed of it. He focused on me and knowledge of this order." Osman was now speaking directly to Haar.

"What did you tell him?" Haar continued in his questioning.

"I told him my view of the Jedi Order. We keep the peace, uphold the laws, and defend the Republic. We do not attack first, but wait till they attack us. I didn't mention that taking Republic citizens and kidnapping a Jedi during war equals a attack. Mandalore then stated we were no warriors, only beings who needed death. Not in those exact words though."

Haar gave a nod. "Unless Master Lorian has any questions or requests for you, you may leave."

It seemed like the proper way to proceed, seeing that he and Colm were the only councilors present.

"All is done here. You may leave." He said.

He turned to Haar once the young man had left. "This Mandalore, I wonder if he should be dealt with."

Osman turned in all the grace of a forty year old Nautolan and left the Council's room.

"What we now know of him is not enough to determine his skill. It is only safe to assume that he can fight on-par with a knight, given their warrior culture," Haar answered. "I am more worried about the blood sample they obtained. The only reason I could possibly think of would be to study high midi-chlorian counts. But for what purpose?"

He looked to the side for a moment, then turned back. The councilor is starting to push his free time by remaining here, though understanding the Mandalorians, Mandalore especially, is important to the Order.
