Problems

OK, well, I'm new here to the Star Wars RP, and it looks really good. Now, I've thought of some questions/problems that I'd like answering so that I don't mess up. OK, here we go:

1) Is there a list of all the factions?

2) If I want to join an independent faction (Join, not create) do I ask the faction leader by private message?

3) Why would I use a form profile template over a literary template?

4) If, say, I want a promotion, and I have good reasons, in a non-independent faction, such as the Jedi, who do I ask?

5) Can a character be Mandalorian even though it's not on the species list, as Mandalorian isn't a species?

Thanks. I just need answers to these before I actually start roleplaying.

Oops, wrote half a reply and accidentally clicked away...

1) Nope, but they're pretty easy to find - the major factions have a sections to themselves, while all independant factions are in their respective section.

2) Most independant factions have a recruitment thread, but pms should work fine as well. It's really up to you.

3) Personal preference, really. It all depends on your personal style of RP as to which profile template suits your needs.

4) PM Nexus for the Galactic Republic, Solus for the Alsakan Union, or Sin for the Jedi.

EDIT: 5) No. To put it simply, the Mandalorians simply don't exist in this time period.

Bounty hunting? Go check independant

As for contacting; the Jedi doesn't seem to care (Don't think the republic does either)

As for Alaskan Union, maybe request Solus for info on the area you want to become for aid in the creation of your character or something
