OCC: This is a one on one match between acolytes. I will b using my sith acolyte Desmond, and sith acolyte is allowed.

Desmond stalked through the training halls, coming to one of the rooms. As he entered he grabbed two scythes of the wall and clipped them onto his belt. The hung loosely at the end of their chains. He then turned around and sent out a message through the force, challenging any acolytes that might be near by.

Tirex'vargas had just arrived at the sith Academy and was awaiting the appointment of his master. A few hours later he stood up, he did not know why but he felt the need to go for a walk. leaving the noise of the busy cantina behind he started towards the stairs at the other side of the corridor. At the top of the stairs there where 3 possible doors Tirex could have used but instinctively choose the left one. When he passed over the threshold he understood what had led him there. A challenge. The challenge that was being broadcast through the force led him to the door of training room three. He could feel the force radiating from who ever waited behind the door, it opened and he stepped over the threshold to meet his opponent.

His weapon of choice was a single scimitar, heavy an bulky for a normal man but for the force augmented strength of a sith it was nothing. He took a few swings at thin air getting a feel of its weight and adjusting to the counter balance of the blade. He turned around to face meet Desmond's hellish red eyes, took a step forward an bowed. He maintained eye contact.

Desmond smiled as the acolyte entered. He had not met, or even seen this one before now, so he had no idea what to excpect. The scimitar was indeed an unusual weapon, but it did not scare Desmond, he was happy to be facing someone with talent in blades use, just as he had.

Desmond unsheathed his katana. The scythes remained at his waist, hanging from their chains. The silver blade of the katana reflected the other acolyte. Without a word, Desmond rushe forwards, bringing the blade up and to the right once he was in range. While the blade was going up, Desmond's left hand shot forwards, open palmed towards the acolytes face, electricity building in the hand as it moved towards his face.

A sudden surge in the force alerted Tirex to Desmond's attack, he raised his blade in his right hand ready to defend. At the split second before Desmond clashed with Tirex he anticipated the lightning attack. His own force abilities were still weak, he could not risk going toe to toe with this. Augmenting the strength in his right leg with the force Tirex pushed off it swivelling his body to parry the katana. He then pushed of his left foot with force augmented strength to land behind Desmond in a crouching position.

His heart rate had rose immensely but he kept his cool as he swiped his blade from left to right. He kept a wide base anticipating a kick and his arm raised ready yo fend of another force attack. The whole movement took less than two seconds.

His opponent was skilled indeed. He had managed to leap over Desmond to dodge the attacks. As he entered the air, Desmond turned sharply, facing him as he landed. As Tirex brought up his right arm in a defensive pose, Desmond swing his katana from right to left, an easy enough strike to block. With his left hand though. Desmond flgrupped one if the scythe and swung it, anticipating it to delve into Tirex's kidney. The scythe would be moving incredibly quickly, and would not have much of a distance to cover before hitting its mark.

Tirex'vargs easily blocked the incoming Katana. However the fast moving scythe could not be avoided so easily. He altered its course and spun his body so the blade would pass in front of him. He could not alter the movement of the weapon enough and its razor sharp edge tore into Tirex's midsection slicing through his skin as if it were Uj'alayi.

In a moment of rage Tirex grabbed the other scythe with force grip and preformed a force augmented sidekick to his foes chest. Pain surged through his body as he extended his leg, the slice was deep and blood dripped on to the floor soaking the acolytes clothes on the way.

As the blood sprayed from Tirex, Desmond began laughing. His eyes grew even brighter and his grip on the katana and his scythe strengthened. As Tirex grabbed onto Desmond's scythe, and brought his foot up for a kick, Desmknd pushed himself backwards, snapping the scythes chain and putting enough space between the two for the kick to hit thin air.

Without hesitation Desmond sprinted forwards towards Tirex, pointing the katana forwards so it would pierce through his opponents chest if he did not move. In his other hand, Desmond began charging his scythe with electricity and preparing to slash it across Tirex's throat.

The laugh echoed through Tirex's ears intensifying his anger, he could feel Desmond getting stronger and it made him stronger. The force engulfed his body and the bleeding began to slow. Calling the free scythe to his outstretched hand he pushed of his right foot in a diagonal motion so he landed to the left side of his opponent. He jumped forward with his Scimitar outstretched meanwhile bringing the Scythe in his left hand over his shoulder in an arcing swing. If the scimitar connected it would pierce through his appendix and into his lower intestines. If the scythe were to hit home it would slice into the acolytes skull.

The two acolytes were but a blur and the entire movement took a mere couple of seconds.

He was fast, and not slowing down at all, good. Desmond liked the prey that fought back, it made things more fun. As the acolyte slid to the left and slashed his weapons towards Desmond, Desmond fell to the ground, both blades slashing into the thin air. Then, without hesitation, Desmond propelled himself backwards, again putting space between the two.

Desmond then stood, smiling at Tirex. Then, he slowly began to fade away. Desmond's eyes hovered for a few moments before disappearing as well. He was no longer visible, bu e was certainly still in the room. Desmond moved silently, coming to the left side of Tirex. He held out both hands and began releasing as much lightning as he could. It would come without warning and instantly.

The explosion of movement halted with pure silence. Tirex could still feel the force radiate from his opponent and he followed it around the room. Suddenly everything stopped, for a split second there was serenity. It was the same feeling Tirex had felt before he had set off a thermal detonator, complete stillness, the calm before the storm.

A surge in the force alerted Tirex to what was coming, it was the third time he had to defend a lightning attack. However he was to late to stop it. As soon as the lighting erupted from Desmond's finger he threw both his weapons out wide guiding them in an arc towards Desmond.

The lighting hit Tirex with ferocity but he could withstand the Acolytes rampant attack for a few seconds. Parts of his skin began to blister and the smell of burning flesh began to proliferate through the room. Nonetheless Tirex guided the spinning blades toward their mark with deadly precision, one to desmonds left shoulder the other to his right thigh.

Desmond watched with glee as the lightning began charring his opponent. The excitement built in Desmond, increasing the power of the lightning. It also distracted him though. The blades came down. Desmond stopped his lightning, and bent backwards. His shoulder was safe, but one blade sliced into his thigh. Luckily, it did not cut deep enough to hit an artery, but it still hurt like hell and was bleeding.

The blood put Desmond into a rage. He didn't hesitate a moment, as soon as the blades were lowered towards the ground, and his opponent was slightly bent over, Desmond swung the scythe straight down into Tirex's back, and prepared to parry a blade with his katana.

As the scythe sunk into Tirex, he dropped his weapons. Desmond laughed as he yanked the opponent upwards from the scythe plunged into his back. He rose his katana and stabbed it through his mid chest area. Not all the way through, just enough to immobilise Tirex. Desmond then ripped his weapons out of the unconscious opponent and kicked him over. His master had not given him permission to kill the other acolyte, and Desmond did not want to attract unwanted attention by the higher ups to himself.

Electric current still rippled through his body as his prosthetic hands snatched the revolving scimitar and scythe out of the air.

Desmond had been as quick as the force propelled weapons and now stood over his opponent, his katana being forced downwards. With no regard for his own safety Tirex rammed both his blades forward toward Desmonds midsection.

The growl Tirex emitted almost shook the room his eyes had flared up and the adrenaline that oozed through his body had amplified his power of the force. Sweat exuded trough Tirex's pores and his internal organs screamed out for the Acolyte to give in but his anger pushed him on. He could not continue much longer however as the force augmented lunge drained the last of his energy. This had to count.

Both blades where aimed to the outside of Desmonds kidneys so not to cause any life-threatening injuries.

The scythe sunk into Tirex's back, blood spurting from it. The blood made Desmond excitement raised. As he readied to pull out the scythe and sink it back in, he felt the cold steel enter into his body on both sides, hard. He laughed at the immense pain he felt, his eyes shifting in color from blinding white to a crimson red color.

His opponent had used his last bit of strength in that attack. He had also managed to leave himself completely open, while Desmond's katana hung loosely below Tirex. Desmond flicked the blade up, it would soar upwards, slicing Tirex open from his stomach up to the top of his chest.

At the same time, Desmond rose his other hand out of Tirex's back, bringing the scythe with it. Desmond then proceeded to swing the scythe down, hard. Holding it so the blunt bottom would strike Tirex's skull, hard enough to knock him out, but not kill him.

Tirex twisted the bloody blades in an attempt to cause as much pain as possible but he knew it was over. Darkness blinded him as he slumped into the pool of warm blood at his opponents feet.

He knew he would never have won this fight, he had not even met his master but this was an introduction to what was to come.
