Question about architecture

How high is the architecture? Are the buildings just as big as what you'd see of Coruscant in 8 bby, or are they the smaller and slightly more advanced versions of our own?

Also is there a plausible reason for jedi initiates to be moved to a different location for training that has happened in the past twenty years?

We never actually thought much about the architecture: I personally went by the assumption that the buildings on Coruscant is very similar to during the movie times.

For initiates (and not padawans), I personally don't see any reason why they would be moved to a different place to train: delinquents would get reprimanded, but nothing too serious, imo.

Did nothing happen within the past 18 years that would result in having them be moved? Like renovations or the destruction of their temple?

The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was heavily damaged in a Bogan attack about 5 years prior to the current year, but that's about it.
