Well, if you're enlisted or commissioned as an officer, you'd be on the payroll just the same as any other government employee. If you're a mercenary, you'd probably only get paid at the completion of each job.

Considering there's no real use of money on this site, I'm not really sure why it's all that important. As a soldier - unless you're a general or something - you're probably not going to get too much money. Just keep it realistic. You can obviously feed yourself, but you're not going to be going around buying planets/moons. >.>

Though, I would like to clarify that when the Alliance collapses, I assume there's nothing compulsory or mandatory about staying with the Rebellion. Most folks would just because of morals and ethics (I guess), but that doesn't mean some people would defect or just go off on their own and, basically, become mercs.

But yeah, inflow of credits will be by commission as we're pretty much going to have to sell ourselves out (tehe) or steal credits in order to keep afloat before too long. Of course there's finding investors and all that as well, but anywho.

Well, after the time skip I intend to have Falen take over his fathers company and begin funneling funds to the rebellion, along with maintaining his own spec ops team. So yeah, what Mav said only there's an investor ready to go along with some highly paid spots for soldiers in my company.
