Can you summarize the thread really quick?

Basically Donkur coming in to the Operations Room of the Rebel Dawn and expositing on state of a deal he made with a sullustan station manager, and how its now providing them with a small but steady supply of materials that are going towards fixing up the Ether Hawk (the deal was made in a previous mission). Then Rorick exposits about the Tokmia thread (though since its not been fully resolved fully, the closest that's being said is 'Jedi were there, weren't too keen on us'), and after that Donur asks if people have any plans they're working on to help the cause.

This is all good stuff. I'm impressed that while nothing has really happened at the top of the food chain in the faction, a lot of you have taken the initiative to do stuff anyway. This is great.

Actually the Tokmia encounter thread is finished as far I know. You can ask either Cale, BZenwrath, Songweaver, and ScarletTweed if it true or not.

Shall Wit and I inform you about the IKLF to see if the mission can be green-lighted?

You can fill me in, though I'll have to think about it. There'd probably be IC trepidation on the part of the Rebels to go after an IK fleet, given that it was IK fleet building that led to the Empire coming down on them so hard.

True. But at the same time as you mentioned with the Star Destroyer restoration, we need more ships. The Lost Fleet is an actual RPed out fleet left at Siege-1, found here. Wit and I were gonna work to find it. Reclaiming a lost fleet unlike building a new fleet is it leaves less of a trail to follow.

Encounter on Tokmia is the beginning of the end, as it were.

No, in all seriousness, EoT is where the jedi and the rebellion meet for the first time. They were both looking for something on the planet (a new base location for rebels, potential of saber crystals for the jedi). The rebels ended up (after a few misunderstandings, and a lot of posturing on both sides, and a brief scuffle between Della Frey and Rorick Helmt) capturing the Jedi and taking them up on their ship.

I believe the next step is ransoming them back. Or at least my rebel commander getting yelled at by the Grandmaster. It's been a little tenuous what with having no FL, and GABA's life going to hell. But I believe that's the plan.

If you'd like to set up a thread dealing with all that, I'd be up for being there from the Rebel leadership. Bastele was the one who labeled the Jedi as traitors to begin with, so it will certainly make things interesting.

I'll set it up. Former Chief of Staff, and Former GA general vs Grandmaster of the Jedi order. This can't possibly go wrong.

And in the meantime, Donkur will just be in the corner whizzing about the galaxy.

Weiss, if you and Sid need anyone else for the Imp Knight thing, I'd love to get Gareth involved.

Could the rebellion look toward moving to one of the various independent sectors/star groups, like The Kathol Sector, to set up a semi-permanent base of operations far away from Imperial influence? Maybe the Kathol Sector is over run with pirates or something, so the rebels come in, clean out the pirates, and thus gain the thanks/cooperation of the local populace. This would give the rebels planets, resources, and relative safety to regroup, rebuild, and resupply.

To bump this up for consideration, looking at the factions map, this is (relatively speaking, given its a galaxy and all) close to Utapau, though you have Karideph on the way. One potential complication, though of course one could go along with it anyway for the sake of some conflict, is that any expansion outwards from the Kathol Sector would of course go up the Rimma Trade Route, aka the big white line on the factions map that extends up from Kal'Shebbol...
And quickly leads to Dagobah, where the Dark Jedi of the Bogan would be waiting. So, assuming we got some energy behind this and all, we would have to consider whether or not we would want this factor this sort of deal in.

But the general concept of a small campaign to win some public favour and/or better establish the organisation would certain help, since right now its disparate bases across the southern side of the galaxy. Perhaps something between two bases, to sort of build a bridge between them? Heck, there's Rodia, and there IS now the possibility of getting an ex-senator from there.

Rodia might work. Farr Nardi is doing a protest. He's doing a speech to inspire the citizens to do more than listen to broadcasts.

If you guys like (cale, brandon, and Gaba) I can help in a thread with the Jedi. I wouldn't mind the chance to see the operation through until the end, but i understand if that would be too many people.

Also, I'd love to help in regards to rebel expansion. The rebellion is in need of some growing space if you ask me. (No pun intended)

The Rebellion also in the near-future could probably look into waging an propaganda campaign to promote its cause and speak out against the Empire. Of course to promote the cause, we need a fresh victory or some-kind of success that would serve as evidence to the people in the independent sectors of the galaxy. Now to speak out against the Sith and the Imperials, the Rebels could keep bringing up the worst war crimes that the Empire has committed so far.
