Rise of the Mandalorians RP

Hey all! I am new to the site, but certainly not new to forum RP and definitely not new to Star Wars. I am super excited to find this place!

One of my Star Wars passions is the Mandalorians. This is set in a wonderful period of time where Mandalorians can truly be fleshed out. It is my hope that we, as Mandalorian fans, can make it our goal to put the Mandalorians back on the map or die trying!

As such, I would love to gauge interest for a plot that tells the story of the Mandalorians and their rise as the feared warriors they are supposed to be! This would chronicle the uniting of Clans as Mandalorians, not Sith pawns :P

My thought would be to start an open thread set on Mandalore, for Mandalorians during a big wedding of two Mandalorian warriors. It would be set on a beautiful evening outside of Sundari on Mandalore in an outdoor setting, bare bones in facilities, fireside, not in a posh mansion somewhere. This would give all Mandalorians, old and new, a chance to connect and talk about their state of affairs over some Tihaar and Netra'gal!

I'd love to do this, but unfortunately my replies and such would be sporadic at best. As of right now, Sundays are the only days on which I can guarantee replies, with the odd day of the week thrown in, but sometimes there will be weeks in which I do not.

Also, my current plan for my Mando is to build a mercenary company, if that's something that impacts/interests anyone here.

Well, this thread is super casual and more on the social side of things. A big party is going on, so easy for someone to drop in, say a few words, give an introduction, and then scoot on out. :)

I have some nibbles on this, so I will try and get this going in the next couple of days.

So when Deviant's character came about to become the "mand'alor" that united the mandalorians that were fighting amongst themselves by character Tecov (see signature for character link) was just drinking at a bar and shrugged like the whole Sith being in power did not really matter to him but that is his own personal view. He would still attend this sort of meet up though most likely just to be like a "don't include me in any of your crazy revolution or whatever you're going to try." My plan for him is to make an assassination organization like in John Wick.

Cool. Yeah, I am sure there are plenty of motivations out there for warriors from Mandalore. Good to get Mandos together regardless. It doesn't have to be "viva la revolution!" ;)

For those of you who showed interest, sorry this thread took so long to get started. I am going to try to breathe some life into the Mandalorians in this timeline. Any Mando characters are welcome to hop in.
