Basically...I've completed Mass Effect and cba to play it again. But I feel like another RPG, is there one anybody can recommend?

I have a 360. My PC cannot handle decent games, so I'm not going to get anything on that. I loved Mass Effect and Kotor (and liked Lotr 3rd age...but it wasn't special). I usually just play the odd footie game or shoot em up...so yeah, with that in mind any suggestions?

How old do you want to go?

Something that will work on my 360, and I'll be able to find without hassle...I don't want to be wandering to every GAME in London looking for an old used original XBox game...I don't have the effort lol.

Oh, you want a 360 game? Heh, I was more or less meaning PC. Not too 360-game savvy >.>

Anyway there is always Dues Ex (Various sites allow you to acquire online). Hm, also I know a few good RPG's of ye old times, for example, fallout (One and two).

Old PC games that your computer would probably overkill if it has parts from a year ago

Invisible War isn't backwards capable.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion GotY edition is a great RPG, if you havent tried it already.
Also there's Marvel's Ultimate Alliance. Not a in depth RPG, but it's still a great game with leveling up, getting stronger, getting new attacks, fighting bad guys, etc.

Been waiting for you Mulluns, knew you'd have some suggestions.

I like the decision making side of things in RPGs as much as the fighting, but I find turn based combat a little tedious, which is why I liked Mass Effect so much (aside from the fact it was easy...first RPG I ever completed without some kind of walkthrough help lol)

But yeah, I know little if anything about those games. I like Marvel Heroes, and had looked at Ultimate Alliance beofre, but is that just a game where you run around beating thugs up? And I know nothing about Oblivion, but I'll have a read up.

Yep. Ultimate Alliance is basicaly getting most of the Marvel Heros and going around beating up bad guys and getting stronger. There is a plot though. Colonel Nick Fury forms a team of Marvel Heros to put a stop to Dr. Doom's Masters of Evil group, who are after something that will give them ultimate power. Very good plot and gameplay, I'd recommend it to any Marvel fan.

Oblivion is basicaly a Fantasy RPG game with what i think has the best leveling up system in any game I've played. Want to be good with swords? Use them constantly. Want to be good at sneaking? Wear light armor and soft shoes and sneak. Basicaly just do what you want to be good at instead of just doing something unrelated, getting skill points, and putting them into something to get good at it.

You can be a variaty of spieces, from Humans, Nords(Sorta like Vikings), High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Argonians(Lizard people), and Khajiit(Cat people). The whole world you can explore is very massive and has loads of side quests to keep you busy, as well as respawning monsters, wild animals, bandits, and so on. Not to mention the guilds you can join, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Assassin's guild, THieves guild.

If you are unsure, just look at these photos of two of my characters i made in the game and atleast try to rent or borrow the game.

Fable: The Lost Chapters is an original Xbox RPG that was really good. It's supported on the 360.

For some reason, It has a habbit of freezing on me at random. Besides that, It's also a great RPG.

Oblivion, or Lost Odyssey.

Both are great in their own way. Oblivion has real-time combat, while Lost Odyssey has turn-based. Though, LO has the better story, if that is what you're looking for. It's hard to compare the two though, as each has its own strengths and different style.

Bioshock is pretty fun, got first person with a little RPG aspect, scares the life out of you at times too.

I'm gonna have to go with everyone else and say that Oblivion is certainly the way to go if you enjoy swords and magic. Although it isn't really an RPG, I'd say Dead Rising. You level up in things that you can do but this usually draws from killing zombies and the such. If you want to wait and be patient I'd suggest looking for Fallout 3 and Borderlands

Eternal Sonata if you are interested in an RPG with a musical element to it.

Meh, I never really played Eternal Sonata but that was just because it looked to wierd. But if you are into JRPGs I hear Blue Dragon was pretty good as well as Kurt's Lost Odessey.

Well yeah: Chopin mixed into a fantasy universe with people named in part of musical language...
