' So, here we are... It's taken almost 6 years on this project to get all the data compiled, and get the simulations in order, but we finally did it! we now have fully rendered details of the key battles of Tython, and several other major locations in the history of the Jedi order. Every troop movement, every temporary camp, formations, line compositions... Ashla, and Bogan alike! It has everything, right down to where one would have expected key generals to make camp for the night! There was AMAZING details to be found! I forwarded the findings, and simulation to a colleague of mine on Coruscant, a fellow historian Analia Bac, she should.... wait I'm getting a message."

Home world: Born on Kiffu, transferred to Ossus at age 3
Sal-Devra entered the order at a very young age, it was assumed her parents held beliefs surrounding force users, and rather that confront the inevitable loss of their daughter to the ways of the Force, they would take the initiative, and bring her to the order themselves.
From the very start Sal Displayed a knack for placing together evens, even those not obvious to the best trained eyes. How much her developing natural abilities of Psychometry, or raw ability to see a larger picture is still up for debate. The fact still remained that Sal-Devra had found something she flourished in, and enjoyed. As her time as a Youngling drew to a close the young Kiffar found herself working under the guidance of a Corellian anthropologist of the order. Master Thull While honing her abilities in the nature of the Force, she studied heavily into the history behind it. It was in her later years as Padawan that her Master Thull fell ill to an exotic infection while researching an ancient sight. Though he survived, he was not longer able to remain active as he once was, and so retired to a life of class room academics. Sal-Devra was then transferred to Master Keldromas.
The Master, and Padawan were polar opposites in nearly all forms. Sal often seemed to take her masters " no nonsense" approach to life it be an insult to the very nature of life, Talzea naturally saw Sal-Devra's easily excitable, and boisterous tendencies to be an affront to common sense, and quiet. It was however, quite apparent that the two were fond of one another. Sal-Devra even stayed on longer once becoming a knight of the order to continue her training under the dark hued humanoid woman.
It's unclear what happened with their bond however. One moment the two were the closest, of friends, if not closer, the next Master Talzea slips into seclusion, and Sal-Devra was off, seeking funding, for a series of projects to dive into the history of warfare and social developments, where she remained. Sal-Devra never forgot her training, and while researching continued to push herself until she reached the level of Master, having planned to one day retired from the field, and return to Ossus and pass on what she learns in the class room, having developed deep insight into not only the combative history, and philosophies of war, but a deeper understanding onto the nature of mental conditioning. Sal also holds a deep belief that when times of strain rise, many Jedi younglings loose sight of what it truly means to be Jedi, and it is this that she wishes to continue passing on more than anything.
In the time since returning to civilization, Sal-Devra has found herself dragged into a series of troubling events. First arriving to discover a Council Master had fallen, and in combat with the current grandmaster Talzea. Second was the arrival of a former jedi, viewed as a true Bogan by many of the order carrying with him his wounded love, a fellow Jedi. Sal was quick to step into the role of a justicar on such a serious matter, and utilize her natural traits, and years of education to investigate the situation.
The kiffar has even been seen on Coruscant as of late, gathering data and spending hours at a time pouring over star charts as if memorizing them. With ties not only to the Jedi, but within the Republics deepest branches of power one can only speculate that Sal-Devra has made it clear that she intends to fully honour the ancient treaty between the Jedi, and Republic in any way possible.
