Jedi Knight Anaro Dreiger sat on a rather uncomfortable bench outside the docking bay's large duraglass door. The ship that was to shuttle he, and his more experienced counterpart to the sandy planet of Neelgaiman, was on the other side of these doors. A cheap YT-2000, if he could remember correctly- and the pilot and crew were actually quite friendly. Former republic military who pooled together in the fight against the sith, they found themselves aligned with the Jedi order after it rose from the Army of Light.
It was a clear day, the clouds had yet really begun to form in the morning sun, and Anaro needed to squint to keep the glare from hurting his eyes too much. Though as he waited- and it had not been long- he steeped his mind into the force, anticipating the arrival of his new comrade, Jedi Knight Thanewulf. He'd never met the man, not any other of his specific sect of the Order, but he's worked with people like him.
They were to head to the planet Neelgaiman, where it seemed no one else wanted to go. Maybe it was because Anaro himself was young, and eager to prove himself that he was chosen. He liked to think it was going to be a good experience not working with his master breathing down his neck. Avoiding any thoughts of 'they're throwing new meat at all undesirable projects'. Though this seemed important enough- being tasked with searching out the validity of a force nexus on the planet. The reports was from the sector's watchman, who requested assistance on investigating the matter.
As his mind still reached out in a bubble around him, ever expanding slowly. As he wished, he got the sensation of someone he was looking for approaching. Standing from the bench, his gray and green paenula un-scrunched itself and fell to the length of his knees before him. Wanting to properly greet his new companion and fellow Knight- he wished to be standing when greeting. His eyes scanned the streets before him- not that there were many people about- but he waited patiently to recognize the man he saw a brief dossier on. He had to place his hand up to shield his eyes from the sun, but after a moment- he saw the figure approaching. His adrenaline began to pump slightly, in excitement and anticipation of both meeting the man, and setting off on his first real mission without his master nearby.
