Talak hit the ignition on his lightsaber and the blade flashed out of existence. He didn't want to draw any more attention to the fact that they were here, and certainly not the attention of CSF. Blood was now running freely down his cheeks and onto his clothes, which almost served to disguise his face a bit, not that the police were close enough to see yet.

He threw his hood up and made for the back of the warehouse, leaping up to the exit that Ender pointed out. The artifacts were a loss, but perhaps they could be retrieved at a later time.

Ender was out already, and Talak gave a last glance back. The two were plenty independent, and splitting up would only make pursuit more difficult. They both knew better than to use their communicators now, anyway. Not where it could be intercepted. He'd have killed for a transmission jammer right about now.

Fierfek, he grunted and then plunged out the window, making for the underbellies of Coruscant to regroup.

Normally, he would have better gear when going into a scenario such as this but there had been no time to prepare. He was armed only with his duty blaster and that was about it. The two CSF Officers weren't much better prepared but at least they had some type of body armor. They just had to open back up would arrive quickly,

"Alright," he whispered. "3..2..1" he mouthed silently as he threw open the door. He moved in, sweeping his gun around to check side to side as they entered. "Police! Drop your weapons!" he announced loudly. He rounded corner and thug raised a weapon to shoot at him. He jumped back behind a crate. One of the CSF Officers with him was not as fast and caught one of the blaster shots in the arm. The man cursed as he fell and Nick hauled him behind cover. "We have an officer down, southwest corner, I need medical," he said into his com.

Steeling himself against the adrenaline surging through his body, he poked around the corner and shot twice. He struck the thug in the middle of the chest as he fell. Scanning the room, he didn't see anyone else standing in the immediate area, only bodies.

There were more sirens approaching. He should have waited, but he didn't want those responsible to escape. So he pushed further into the warehouse. The person he found alive was a woman who was leaning against a spilled crate. At first, he thought she was dead, but saw small movements as she struggled to breathe. "Show me your hands!" he said. When she didn't respond he repeated the command and took a step forward, blaster pointed her. He continued to scan around him but didn't see anyone else.

He kicked a gun away from her, unsure if it had been hers or someone else and grabbed her on the shoulder pulling her to the ground face first. He noticed the blaster wound on her back. "I have one female, blaster wound to the back. Shallow breathing," he said into his radio as CSF units started pouring into the building. "Multiple dead." he continued.

At the sound of shouting from the police officers when they entered, Thalia managed to lift the grating over a drain that lead either to the sewers or to a maintenance tunnel, either one, Thalia was satisfied. She looked over her shoulder as she heard blaster fire and through the just wide enough crack, Thalia slid down, though did not correctly predict the 10 foot drop and instead of gracefully landing on her feet, landed with a thud on her side, making a mental note to practice her landings. A quick glance with the light that filtered from above, she could tell it was a maintenance tunnel, wires roped along the walls and Thalia followed.

Illuminators along the floor were activated through motion sensors and Thalia groaned as she sped up her pace to find an exit. She absolutely regretted this night. Not only did she leave empty handed, she once had a full hand, it would have brought her enough credits to live happy for a while. There was frustration and annoyance that followed, but finding a door to the sewers brought a new level of relief.

Time to exit Coruscant for a long while now.
