Alright after talking with Jenna and agreeing we need to add people to the council so when someone goes in active we can still have a semi-fair vote and see all sides of an issue in this case we are adding Baby-Blue, Syn, and Cordon... to the council making the total six leaving tie breakers to Mandalore.

so this new poll will be for who is going to be Mandalore.

It's not up to me, but I would personally object to the even number of members. The Council is primarily in place to settle challenge disputes, so how can you have Mandalore as the tie breaking vote? That's not fair in a challenge. Ethically, Mandalore would have to recuse himself from making the decision, thus leaving no one to break a tie.

You should go with an odd number of members to prevent ties altogether.

Your right Brandon I completely forgot about that but I think the council could handle other matters other than just challenges for Mandalore. It can vote on some changes to the faction or disputed ranks and such but if you want a seventh then I have just the man.

Whether or not the Council has more responsibilities should be up to the next Mandalore. Groupthink has already bogged this faction down in arguments that have dragged on for months, so right now the faction shouldn't be concerned breaking up responsibilities to a large group of people.

You should be focusing, as this thread is beginning to, on getting a strong leader who can make the decisions necessary to keep those arguments from breaking out in the first place. When the faction has that sort of leader, the Council theoretically won't need to be regulating disputes.

And personally, while it's hard to do this now that you've already asked people, I think 5 people on the Council is better than 7. Really, though, the original 3 was better than 5 or 7, to be honest. The more people you add to this, the less effective it's going to become.

To be perfectly honest, time spent organising these new council members s time I feel should be spent on getting the Mandalorians back on track during the leadership changeover.

Just put Johnny as Mandalore, the majority have voted for him to be it. As far as I know or care, he's the Mandalore now.

Agreed.

Also, I voted for Johnny. Please take this as a gesture of cooperation. I want to help this faction thrive and grow stronger. That can't happen if we are bogged down with an endless debate over who is to take over after Phil. Can we put aside our differences and drive on? I mean it. Let's work together. Let's make this a fresh start for both sides. No grudges.
