The Dark Knight stepped out of the Cruiser and it swiftly took off, returning to the Capitol planet of Korriban. Feris was visiting the Sith stronghold, Thule, a beautiful planet with many majestic mountain ranges and endless plains of flowing grasses. Feris felt a warmth from this planet. He took a deep breath, drawing the air behind his prosthetic face, into his lungs and releasing it with a deep hiss that went on forever. The passerbys kept their eyes to the ground, avoiding the glance of the Sith.

He was not on this planet for any dark purpose, in fact he was he to locate someone who had helped him out, long ago.

A lightning storm whilred at the horizon and cracks of thunder could be heard faintly. A stiff breeze belw thru the lanes as Feris trudged down the alleys and avenues, feeling out with the Force, trying to sense a familiar presence. He was running into no luck. He knew he would probably have to do a little research before he found the man he was looking for. He decided to check the nearest cantina.

The brown cloak hund deep over his eyes, allowing the light to only illuminate his mouth, which moved barely when he spoke. He meandered the crowd to reach the bar and asked the weird creature behind the bar if he had heard of his friend. The 'thing' responded in some inaudible language, and he became aware that neither of them understood the other. This was going to be harder than he thought.

He exited the dingy bar to the streets once more and made his way north, away from the spaceport towards the outskirts of town. He would check out there and if he stiff had no luck, he considered turning back.

Stul Seng was wandering the planet of Thule largely because he had gotten on the wrong flight to Kamino and now was wandering this sith world. He had a speeder to get around the city so he could check out the interesting stuff in the city. The tourist sites in the city had been checked earlier in the day so now he was going around the outskirts of the town to see if anything was out there.

He knew it was a sith world but he figured they probably wouldn't bother him as he was an average human and they had no reason to bother him. The only reason he might be bothered is the fact that he was very force sensitive. However, he didn't know that partly because he didn't believe in the force. The reason why was because his home planet was unravaged by war and didn't need any Jedi or Sith to bother it so he began to question the force and he figured that most of the jedi powers could simply be superior technology that the average person didn't understand and thus was fooled. Therefore, he regarded the Sith and Jedi as tricksters but since the Jedi helped people, he viewed them as nicer tricksters.

As he continued to go around the outskirts, he picked up a brochure for a cheap hotel he could spend a few days in before he left for his home again. He then was looking at the hotel when he saw a man in a brown cloak. He felt a strange sensation of anger though he had no idea where it came from. Probably from the drink he drank not too long ago at the galaxy famous bar that he had been to.

The sounds of a passing speeder interrupted the conversation between Feris and a jawa. He was questioning the Jawa, trying to determine if he knew of a man who specialized in cybertronic and prosthetic alterations. The Jawa strangly avoided the questions and suspiciously generalized his answers. Feris was aware that the being was hiding something and he knew he was getting warmer.

He raised his head from the downward stare at the Jawa, and scanned the area for observers and quickly determined that no one was paying attention to his moves, but perhaps he was mistaken...

He returned his glare to the short cloaked man and raised his hand infront of himself. The jawa began to claw at his throat as if he were trying to break a chokehold. Soon after the jawa began to float slowly into the air until his yellow-glowing eyes were at his level.

I am not playing with you! Tell me where to find him!

His voice was stern and intimidating to the little sand-creature, who was released from, the Force-choke and fell to the ground, emitting a cloud of dust. The jawa rolled around on the ground for a moment gasping for air and clutching his throat. After a moment, the Jawa raised his stubby cloaked hand and pointed at a Hotel nearby, and immediatly it made sense.

He strolled away from the wounded Jawa and made his way to the Hotel across the way. Hopefully he would soon find the man he was seeking.

Stul turned around and saw the seemingly dead jawa and the man walking away from it. His speeder stopped and he went close to the man who murdered him.

"You murdered a jawa!" Stul said indignantly at the man.

His hand was in his pocket ready to pull out his blaster pistol and shoot the man if it came down to it. The other hand was not far from his knife and could easily get it if he had to.

Though he didn't care much for jawa's, he still cared that they were sentinent life and they were fairly pathetic and killing a jawa is bullying and Stul didn't really like that as he was somewhat of a decent person.

Feris looked at the man who challenged him. Then he glared down at the jawa. Feris could see the life force draining from the Jawa's body until it went limp.

Oh ... I did kill that pathetic being ... didn't I?

Feris stood in front of the man with his cloak covering his face and his hand beneath his cloak reaching for one of his lightsabers. He scanned the mans thoughts and sensed that he had a blaster and was ready to pull the trigger. 'No mind!' Feris thought as he turned away from the man.

Feris was unconcerned with lesser life forms like Jawa's and Rodian's and such ... and this man was about to define Feris lack of respect for certain races.

Feris continued toward the Hotel with his hand resting confidently on the hilt of his saber, still sensing Stul's thoughts...

Even more enraged by the man's nonchalance about killing the jawa, he simply steamed with anger but he felt he should see if the jawa had any chance of still being alive.

He checked the pulse and there was none but he seemed to be revivable by CPR. So he started compressions on the jawa and then he got a small plastic tube for the typically mouth to mouth resuscitation. He then unhooded the jawa and found it horribly ugly but still worth saving. After about three times, the pulse began to come back again.

Though he was pleased with the fact that the pulse was back, he noticed that the artery to the brain was still bleeding from when the jawa was clutching his throat and accidently cut it. So he then took a small stip of cloth and put it on the artery and was trying his hardest to keep the blood in so it wouldn't squirt out. With all the concentration on healing it, he unknowingly used a bit of the force to heal the cut.

Once the cut was healed the jawa was slowly regaining consciousness and was starting to babble random words so Stul just put him over his shoulder and began to walk to the cloaked man.

He was very angry and was not in control of his emotions much but he didn't care and he was going to resolve this. His hand was again near the blaster and ready to shoot if attacked or it was nessesary to save someone else from the ruthless killer.

Hehe ...

Feris snickered at Stul ... how could he even care for such a beast?

He continued up to the motel and made his way up the small staircase up to the second level where another row of doors laid b4 him and he had a good feeling as to which one to try...

The brown cloaked Sith Knight walked up to a door and knocked lightly:

Rap-Rap-Rap

He knocked on the door until a low voice could be heard on the other side of the door:

Who the hell is it?!

Feris smile inside at the voice ... it was familiar and he was relieved. He found the man who made his prosthetic face and he would soon have him make a better alternative to his current choice. Feris was ready to have facial implants and have a protective mask attached to protect them.

He turned back to see if anyone was watching and he spyed Stul. He used the Force to feel Stul's emotions and detected an easy display of anger. He felt that Stul had a strangly powerful connection with the Force. He thought for a moment and concluded that Stul was no threat at the moment and if he became a problem, Feris was more than prepared to handle him, but at the moment he was more concerned with his goal.

It is an old friend ... I need a mask!

Feris muttered to the door and awaited a responce...

Stul could see the man on some stairs on the outside of the motel. He seemed like he was going to kill another man and that was something Stul wouldn't let happen again. The jawa was starting to make sense a little.

"Stop him." the jawa weakly said referring to the cloaked man.
"Do you have any weapons?" Stul asked.
"I have some, here, have some." the jawa said tiredly and was pulling out his lightning gun and some of his ion grenades.

Stul took them and put them into his pocket. As he was putting them in, he noticed two water bottles that he had.

"Do you want some water?" Stul asked.
"Yes." the jawa said and then he drank the water making him even more aware.

Then Stul put the jawa on his shouder again and walked up the stairs to the platform the man was standing on though about fifteen doors away.

Feris heard the man on the other side of the door begin to unlock several locks and then the door swung open, revealing a large Kel Dorian. Feris pulled back his hood, illuminating the pale, prosthetic face showing a blank expression.

Ahh ... that was the best peice I ever did...

The Kel Dorian lifted his fingers toward Feris' face to get a feel for the machinery he constructed so many years ago; but Feris pulled back turning his head to the right. When he did, he noticed that Stul was still sneaking around.

You are a bold one! I wonder, what business do I have with you?

The Kel Dorian took a step back into his hotel room, prepared to loc the doors and avoid danger. Feris however, was angered by the actions of Stul and was seriously considering an intermission to deal with this persistant problem.

"Don't you hurt him or I will shoot you." Stul said to the cloaked man. He didn't know that they were actually working together. However, he was determined not to let another one get hurt by the cloaked man so he had his left hand by his blaster pistol ready to shoot. He was still angry and the jawa was now well enough to shoot and was standing on the platform. His lightning gun was in his cloak ready to be pulled out in a moments notice.

His anger was still strong though weakened a bit by the length of time that had gone by. The resolve to stop this near murderer was as strong as ever.

Feris took two steps toward Stul pulling off his robes and throwing them to the ground. Feris is wearing light brown clothes wrapped closly to his body, but not tightly so that he could still maneuver his very agile, very flexible body, in case of a fight. Feris has a lightsaber hanging from either side of his waist. He walked toward Stul with a determined look and hostile demeanor.

You are very very ... very very foolish to challenge me boy! I would advise you to turn away, but if you will not be satisfied until you attempt to avenge this pathetic jawa, who peddles narcotics and steals from others ... yeah like the guns he gave you; if you won't be satisfied until you pull that trigger, then by all means do it now. But you had better succeed, because if I am still alive after you pull that trigger, you will be living in a world of regret.

Feris stood before Stul, calling his bluff with open arms. He never drew a weapon, instead he felt out with the Force, gathering up his strength and energy, heightening his senses. He could feel the anger within Stul, but Stul's mind was clouded with other emotions and thoughts as well ... it would seem Stul was not sure of his next move. This made it less predictable...

Seeing the lightsaber, Stul immediately recognized him as a sith since Jedi typically don't wander sith planets and kill people. He also figured the sith would probably be capable of easily killing him with his "force powers". Though he didn't believe them to be "the force", he figured they were advanced technology and tricks that were equally capable of killing him.

"I am not here to avenge the jawa but to stop you from hurting the man in the room like you did to the jawa." Stul said with resolve but inside he was mixed with anger, fear, and resolve. Normally the face and voice would be able to convince a man but with a sith that could read emotions and thoughts, it was useless though he wasn't thinking about it at the time.
Then he drew breath to make another statement.

"If the jawa has done those things, then send him to a fair trial and let him face the truth. However, nearly killing him in the middle of the street without proof is just as bad as his crimes." Stul said with the same resoluteness as last time and then he waited for the sith to respond.

As Stul was saying that, the jawa began slipping through the metal bars on the platform and sliding down them to get to the ground.

Stul's only hope (if a fight happened) was that he didn't know about would be that Feris would only knock him out and then maybe take him to the sith and train him as a sith considering his aptitude. Otherwise he would probably end up dead.

Look around ... are you aware of your current location? This is a Sith World ... I am the law!

Feris spoke with a stern, but lest hostile voice, as his anger was subsiding.

The theif is still alive, thanks to you; you have done your good deed for the day. And now I am going to do mine, and let you reconsider your line of thought, and possibly escape this situation with your all your limbs.

Feris offered a faint smirk before turning away from Stul to fetch his Kel Dorian friend. He pulled him from his room with his arm around the Kel Dorian's shoulder. They approached Stul...

I have business with my old friend here. I will go inside and discuss a few things and when I emerge from there, you should be gone. However, if you are still here, I would hope that your motives evolve into something more .... constructive.

He looked to his friend and said:

Shall we?

"Well, I'll be going now." Stul said as he had no more reason to be there considering that the sith was not planning to kill the man in the room. He was now a bit tired from all the anxiosity that he went through considering he was facing a sith that was very capable of killing him.

So he then walked down the stairs and then jumped on his speeder. With the speeder, he should be capable of catching the jawa and putting him in his arms and then send him to the courts of the republic when he would get off this planet.

Though the sith was far less likely to kill him now that there was no specific reason to do so, it was still possible until he was out of range of any of the sith's attacks. Fear still was in his mind but it would be useless as it would do nothing if he were attacked but it was going away.

Feris and his friend went into the Hotel room and locked the doors upon entering. The front room was cramped with a bed and a large workbench dividing the room in two. Feris took a seat on the bed as his friend sat at the bench, pushing aside a few random metal parts and a couple tools.

You were not easy to locate, I must say I almost gave up. I have searched four systems looking for you.

Well then, you must be in need of something very important, does your prothesis require repairing?

You too late, you see I have had it repaired many times before, you see, it is very susceptible to physical damage. Sadly, I could not locate you when I needed those repairs and therefore, I have suffered with this face being less than callobrated. It stings sometimes and the discomfort is becoming unbearable, which is why I ultimatly did not give up on finding you.

So you want me to fix the problems? Work out the kinks?

Not exactly... I have outgrown this face ... I desire a new peice...

You know I don't tinker with such things anymore ... I told you this a long time ago, when I gave it to you...

The Kel Dorian stood up from the bench and began to tinker with the bits and peices atop the table, avoiding Feris' glare.

Besides, it would take months and I don't have the parts ...

Look at me ... LOOK AT ME!

Feris' anger roared thru his body pulling him to his feet as he yelled. The Kel Dorian turned to face Feris.

I need a new mask, and you are going to make it for me. You will be reinbursed for your troubles, twice over...

I don't know, man, I haven't worked on ...

I don't care Taleus! All you have to do now is gather your things. We are going to Coruscant.

WHAT!? WHY!?

Relax ... I do not have to worry about running from the law anymore ... here, and on Coruscant, We are the law. No one will touch you. You are now working with the Sith Empire.

Now hold on just a minute Feris, you know I don't choose sides. It limits business and I cannot afford to sacrifice my customers...

Once again, Feris interrupted him:

Listen, you're going to live on Coruscant for a few months, you will be paid superfluously and you will live in posh quarters until you finish. After you give me what I need, I don't care what you do, and who you do it for. You can fall off the face of the universe for all I care, but I cannot go to anyone else with this request, and therefore, you cannot refuse me. Do we see eye to eye?

Taleus changed his posture and demeanor. Apparently he was through arguing with Feris. He knew he was about to be in over his head, but he new the Sith paid well and he would be able to disappear after this if he needed to. He smiled at Feris and replied:

You don't have eyes .... but yeah .... I understand. When do we leave?

Immediatly, so gather everything you need and leave the rest. I am going outside to put things into motion. A transport will be ready for you momentarily. See you in a bit.

With that said, Feris walked outside the Hotel and strolled down the stairs. He noticed Stul was still nearby, however he was about to leave.

So boy! You still want to kill me?

Feris shouted to Stul...

"Not really, I'm leaving," Stul said as he started up the speeder which the jawa foolishly decided to not take.

He then set it on one of the faster speeds and began going. Gliding over the streets of Thule, he really wanted to get off the blasted rock. He wanted to avoid confrontations with Sith now and getting out fast was now more important than getting out for a low cost.

As he was going, he saw the jawa running as fast as he could. Since the jawa alledgedly did such evil deeds, he would take him to the courts of the republic. Then he finally got up to the jawa and snatched him into his arms. He then pulled the lightning gun out of his pocket and put it in his own.

"What are you doing?" the jawa asked.
"Taking you to justice." Stul replied.
"You got that from a sith" he said indignantly
"Then you should have nothing to be afraid of."

The jawa relented and let him continue driving to the space port. When they got there, Stul saw that there was a flight to Sluis Van and from there, he could easily get to other cities in the republic.

Feris laughed at Stul as he sped off.

I wonder if he beleived that mess about the jawa ... ahhh ... for all I now, that little slimeball was a theif...

He thought to himself as he signaled for a transport. Soon after, a personnel carrier appeared in front of the quaint Hotel. The Kel Dorian emerged from the Hotel with a satchel full of his belongings. They entered the transport and sat down in respective seats.

The transport sped away to the spaceport where Feris and Taleus would travel to Coruscant.

The transport stopped at a docking bay where large Sith ships were docked and there were many beings of all speicies walking to and fro. Feris walked in the center of the aisle and watched as the others manuveured out of his way, avoiding his glance by looking away or toward the ground as they walked. Taleus tailed the cloaked Sith Knight toward a Sith star cruiser.

Stul was finally getting of the planet of Thule and was blasting off the planet in the passenger ship to Sluis Van. The mandalorian planet was a bit of a wasteland but it's shipyards were great. Looking at the brochure for the planet, there were several things to do on the ground and he would probably enjoy the activities till he could get a flight to a republic planet and eventually back to Kamino.

The jawa on the other hand was silent and morose. He was contemplating how to prove his innocence. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and was now threatened by the man who saved his life. However, thinking about it now wouldn't change anything so he went to sleep.
