Appearance
[fancybox2]

Sei'Ja'Ku stands at a height of 5'11". Her physique is very lean and muscular, skin as pale as a full moon. She appears fully humanoid save for the sturdy sharp talon-like nails at the end of each fingertip (which are retractable) and her elongated canine teeth.

Her facial features are very soft and delicate, contrary to her physical build. Sei'Ja'Ku has shimmering crimson irises and long eyelashes capable of luring men of most species into her deep gaze. She has plush lips, a well-defined nose, and cheek bones that would make most women envious. woman's silver hair is as shimmery and typically kept in a braid.

Clothing-wise, she traditionally blends in with the planet's culture, adopting their fashion sense no matter how odd it might be. When combat is evident, she will present herself in full heavy armor, colored white with silver accents.

Personality
[fancybox2]

Sei'Ja'Ku typically has an upbeat demeanor on the surface, always showing weary strangers and well known friends alike a warm and welcoming smile. An aura of calm surrounds her, which she happily shares with whomever requires it, especially during dire situations. The air (or area) she enters has the tendency to lighten up and become much more breathable in her presence.

The woman tries to see the best in everyone. She yearns for friendship, for love, for all the light the galaxy has to offer. In return, she offers absolute loyalty, respect and anything else the individual requests- to an extent. No funny stuff. Well..maybe some.
Underneath it all, however, Sei'Ja'Ku is deeply torn.

Due to the nature of her work, she is forced to see things that would drive the most stalwart mad. It has made her secrety bitter, even numb at times, and above all else..enraged.

Emotions in general are seen as a distraction to those of her Order, especially ones as twisted and dark as these. Fortunately, Sei'Ja'Ku is very good at keeping her true torment hidden.

Skills
[fancybox2]

Healing Light
The Light Side of the Force has blessed Sei'Ja'Ku with a very rare and precious gift: the ability to heal. Through steadying her mind and spirit alike, she can call upon the essence to seal wounds of her own flesh or those of others. With enough effort, the woman has been capable of reattaching severed limbs to their respective bodies and repairing not just their physical connection but neurological as well, allowing for its use. In rare cases she has even 'grown' body parts that have been entirely lost. This last ability takes a great deal out of her, though, and often results in a loss of
consciousness.

Force Shield
Due to her focus being on the healing arts, Sei'Ja'Ku lacks essential combat skills. Her species naturally have enhanced seed and strength, yet she never learned how to fight offensively. Rather, she acts on a defense with Force-guided blocks and deflections. She's capable of generating strong barriers of the Force around herself or others, though maintaining them requires complete concentration.

Telekenisis
Like most capable of wielding the Force, Sei'Ja'Ku can manipulate objects from a distance and guide them to her will's desire.

Telepathy
Due to her role in the galaxy, there are many times when her patients are not capable of describing their discomfort. To compensate for this, she developed her mind's eye to delve into the subconscious and conscious minds of her targets to explore their thoughts and/or desires. While some have used this ability to manipulate others, and she is capable of doing the same, her moral conscious forbids it. Only under the most extreme of conditions would she even think of forcing someone else to do as she demands.

Empathy
More of an additional sense than an actual technique, with focus, Sei'Ja'Ku is capable of reading the emotions of others. This allows her to perceive their thoughts and better adapt to any situation. While this could be useful in combat (such as being alerted to the ill-intentions of another), it can also be a double-edged-sword. Reading too strong of emotions can influence her own, or even bring about pain.

Enhanced Speed and Strength
As the name suggests, her species are known for have strength and speed beyond that of most humanoids.

Bite of Life and Death

Another species-specific trait, Sei'Ja'Ku is capable of 'feeding' off of the force of others via her fangs. Likewise, she is also capable of infusing others with it via transfering hers into theirs to heal wounds or re-energize.

. Customized Dual-Bladed Lightsaber (Blue)

. Heavy Armor
Only worn on the field of combat.

Biography

[fancybox2]

Ever since she was young, Sei'Ja'Ku felt like an outcast. She never got along with others her own age, was fearful of he adults that resided in her village, and even distrustful of her own kin. There was this aura around them all that felt sinister, monstrous...dark.

The feelings were apparently mutual. The young always greeted her with bared fangs and hisses while their parents pretended she didn't even exist. Her own mother and father shared equal distaste for their offspring, often shunning her and dismissing her to do their own thing.

She felt so..alone.

It was many years of hardship before a shimmer of hope would appear on the horizon- literally. A ship of militaristic design penetrated her home world's atmosphere, burning bright from not just the entry but from fires that belched from its belly as well. A trail of smoke made a curve across the sky as it descended at a dangerous angle. Its landing could be felt in the trembling ground and heard as it moaned, its metal body twisting, bending and contorting into unnatural angles.

No one bothered to investigate. No one believed that there could have been any survivors. Sei'Ja'Ku, however, thought otherwise. Somehow, she could sense their life-force beating in her own flesh. She could feel their confusion and agony, smell their fear with every inhalation. Knowing that no one would care or try to stop her, she decided to head off on her own and find the survivors.

Two days journey it took to reach the crash site. What she found was expected: the ship lay in ruins, its people bloodied and dirtied. Sei'Ja'Ku watched them for hours as they gathered what supplies they had left and talked among themselves in a language that wasn't familiar. Watching them filled her with an odd sense of hope. Perhaps these people would accept her?

When she first made her approach, no one seemed to notice. But then, as though linked with a mind-hive, the aliens turned in unison to stare at her. The silence was deafening. She could feel her pulse pounding in every square inch of her body. The young girl started to tremble as a wave of conflicting emotions hit her, none of which she could tell apart from the next. Eventually, she was overwhelmed to the point of unconsciousness.

Sei'Ja'Ku awoke to several strange faces surrounding her. Humanoids of different skin hues, shapes, and sizes surrounded her in a circle, all muttering to either themselves or one another. A man that looked not much unlike herself, though with blunt fingernails and teeth that he revealed in a warm smile, broke the circle and knelt before her. He spoke but she couldn't understand. Grasping the situation, the man, still smiling, gestured for her to follow him to a metal hut that had been constructed from a portion of the fallen ship.

He became the father figure she never had. The rest of the populace turned into her adoptive family. They were all so kind and fascinated by her- the attention was a bit unnerving but enjoyed. They taught her their language, which she quickly grasped, and even about their various species and culture. One thing had united them all: a magnificent energy called the Force. It linked them in both arms and heart, gave them remarkable abilities, and they served it in return to maintain balance in the galaxy.

Her 'father,' Shido, stated that he recognized a strong connection between her and the Force. He truly believed that she could wield it for herself if trained to do so. Fascinated, Sei'Ja'Ku declared herself willing to be taught by anyone who so desired to teach.

Like a true community, different individuals began lessons of all sorts with her. From meditation to physical training and everything in between, she devoured the tasks with eagerness. It was during one of her routine runs around the ship that was slowly being restored that disaster struck. One of her people fell seriously ill of a disease not native or known to their species. It sapped the blue Twi'lek's energy, made their lekku wither and wilt, color fade. Sei'Ja'Ku immediately rushed over to offer her aid, though she herself knew not what ailed him. Though panic threatened to still her, she fought through the fear and was rewarded with a flush of warmth that visually radiated from her as a white aura of light.

As if the act was natural, Sei'Ja'Ku placed her hands on the Twi'lek's chest and willed the light into them. She had no idea what she was really doing at the time, but it didn't matter- something was happening and it was better than nothing. Right before everyone's eyes, the alien's color returned and lekku strengthened. Life returned to him in a rush, one that shocked and surprised him into a seated position.

Having been recognized as a gifted healer, Shido and the others focused on honing her blessing. While they did possess medics of their own, their abilities paled in comparison to her natural one, but they offered enough insight to guide her to improvement. Sei'Ja'Ku eventually became capable of manipulating the Force with incredible precision as she matured, which she always used to help others. Her talents came in quite handy when construction on her family's ship hastened- there were many accidents, but nothing she couldn't fix.

When at last construction was complete, Sei'Ja'Ku was offered a position among their ranks, which she humbly accepted. She stated that there were no ties between her and her people, and that she wanted to explore the galaxy, helping anyone she came across that had been harmed (or still were being harmed) from the war. The woman knew she possessed a rare gift, one that had to be shared with all who ailed.

Thus, she now travels the galaxy in search of those in need..

Hello,

As that race is not on the approved race list (LINK), the staff reviewed the Shaliz'Na race. It was determined that the race contains some pretty racist stereotypes and will not be allowed as a playable race. Please choose a different race and update your bio as needed. Tag me as soon as the changes are made and I will come back and review the profile.

Thanks!

While it's fine for you to say the character doesn't know her own age, I would prefer at least a number (even an approximate) OOC. This is just to avoid people saying they have characters who are thousands of years old.

Regardless of age and life experience, she is still a level one character and would be relatively unknown to those outside of her immediate social circle.

Force Forging isn't really a known thing during this time period, and the only way to obtain a white lightsaber is purifying a crystal that has been corrupted (bled)

Her rank would Knight. Sentinels, Guardians, etc. Are sects of the Jedi Order, not ranks.
