That's really not how it works. Adena is there, and as the head of the Senate she chairs the meeting. That's how parliamentary procedure works, that's how a senate works. She also specifically said in her first post in the thread that she would be calling the meeting to order, as she's the chair of the Senate. You asked for the meeting, but you're not running the meeting.

If we're going to have a Senate, let's at least do it right.

That's what the investigation committee is for. You don't do that before a full session of the Senate. That's just not the way it works.

I'm guessing it's a closed session since it was an emergency meeting. Unless you talk with a Senator present, your character most likely won't.
