Kyrick Jalapter walked into the room and noticed it was unoccupied. He looked down at his wrist chrono, 13:30 galactic standard time. He was right on time. He sat down on the floor in the crossed legs position and began his Force meditations. He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. He started think of when he had left the Jedi order, he clearly remembered that day.

Two years earlier

Kyrick walked into the council room and stood before the masters, “What is the meaning of this? I have found that you plan to make me a diplomat. Why?”
“Mind your words young one, your thoughts betray you.” Said one of the wise council members
“We feel it would be in your best interest, and the best interests of the Order as a whole for you to put your skills at persuation to use as a diplomat.” Said another.
Kyrick looked at them aghast, “But I want to go out on missions, I want to see the galaxy and have adventures!”
Finally, the leader of the council spoke, “Adventure? A Jedi does not wish for this.”
“Then I guess I am no longer a Jedi.” Saying the Kyrick reached down and took his lightsaber from his belt, ignited it, and stuck it in the council chamber floor, then turned and walked out.

Present time

The sound of the doors opening shook Kyrick from his memories and brought him back to reality, he looked up to see his master standing there. He stood up and bowed, saying, “Greetings Master.”

Slidig through the doors, his cloak dragging across the floor as he made his way infront of his apprentice. Glancing down at him, he began to survey him before making any reply to his greeting. He was quite older than he expected, most likely only a few years younger then himself.

"Hello. You are Kyrick I presume?" He inquired, bowing to him in sign of respect.

Kyrick nodded, "Yes Master, I am." The sleevless tunic Kyrick wore was perfect for the heat outside, it also showed the two unique tatoos, one on each shoulder.

"So, I assume you were formerly part of the Jedi Order, as were most of us. If you had a former master. What exactly did he teach you, so we know where to start?" He inquired, gently removing his cloak and placing it on a small table near the door. He walked closer to Kyrick, getting a better observation point of his padawan.

Kyrick nodded again, "Yes, I was. My former master taught me the essentials of using the Force, including Push, Pull, Jump, Speed, Meditation, Influence, and Heal. I was also taught parts of Djem-So, Shii-Cho, and Ataru, however I have combined those to create my own form. After leaving the Order I taught myself how to use Force Lightning, Precognition, Valor, and Choke, along with using the Force to throw my lightsaber."

"I see. Well, Might I ask you to lift that statue over there." He stated pointing to a gray sculpture looking somewhat like a miniature Vratix, the natives of the planet. "I'm assuming its only a few hundred pounds."

Kyrick nodded, "Of course Master." He turned to face the statue, closed his eyes and focued his mind on it, raising his hands he gently lifted them palms up, untill the statue rose from the ground and floated gently for five seconds, the Kyrick let it fall with a big THUDDDD back onto the floor. HE wiped the sweat from his brow and said, "How was that?"

"It was good, if you meant to alert all the enemies to your location." He replied smirking. "There will be situations where you will be required to move large objects in order to continue on your path, and allowing it to fall with creating such ruckus would sure draw attention to yourself and endanger the mission." He added, this time in a more serious tone.

Aside for that aspect, Anshin was quite pleased with the amount of weight he was able to lift using the force. Of course he will soon have to be placed in rigorous activities to bring up his strength with the force. "I would like you to try again, this time a little less commotion please."

Kyrick looked back at the statue and repeated his actions, after rasing the statue he turned it in a complete circle and then, arms shaking from the strain, lowered it to the ground with hardly a sound. When it touched down Kyrick released his pent up breath in a big sigh. Sweat was pouring off his face from the exertion of lifting it.

"On your time off, I would suggest lifting large objects for extended periods, to bring up your confidence and strength with the force. But, Well Done with that." He smiled.

"Being able to do things when physcially handicapped is a major skill required of Jedi. Now for the next lesson, I would like you to close your eyes and attempt to see what I am doing." He added, pulling a blind fold out of his utility belt and handing it to him.

((Sorry for taking so long to respond))

"Of course Master." Kyrick took the blind fold and put it on, completly obscuring his vision. Reaching deep inside himself he followed the strands of Force energy he felt and started to see through them, clearly enough to see his Master standing in front of him. "I am ready."

While his padawan was blind folded, Anshin began to walk around, gently moving objects near inaudibly hopeing that the padawan would be able to notice such subtle movements. As he did this, he also began to slow his breathing, tryig to give less factors for the force to find.
((All good lol))

Kyrick watched through the Force as his Master moved around, moving items to different spots, then he seemed to vanish, Kyrick was confused until he amplified his earing with the Force and heard that his Master had slowed his breathing, "tricky" he mumbled under his breath. Fortunatly, while he couldn't see his master, he could still see the objects being moved. A data pad was moved five feet to the left, a lamp turned on it's side, and a plant was gently lifted and placed a little to the left.

He seems to be getting it. He said, gently walking next to his apprentice. Taking a deep breath, he smiled remoinvg the blind fold off him. "Mastery of this technique will be a key ability to the success of missions and objectives. For you can't always see what you want to find. Soon you could be able to project your mind outside of this room, able to see things in remote locations without having to be there." Anshin stated, walking towards a table.

"Now I suggest we get a little more, active." He added, grabbing a saber hilt off the top and tossing it towards Kyrick. It was time to see how well he could fare in saber combat. Activating his own, the blade resonating with a dark blue hue, he raised his saber pointing it towards his apprentice, edging him on for combat.

Kyrick deftly caught the saber and activated the green blade in one smooth motion. Then he dropped into the first stance of his form. He came in with a high feint and then quickly dropped, sweeping his leg along the ground, hoping to catch his master's foot.

Lightly leaping over the blade, he brought his blade down towards Kyrick's now exposed shoulder. He was quite impressed from Kyrick's saber abilties from the start of this match.

((Are these training blades or real lightsabers?))

Kyrick rolled his shoulder back to an almost unnatural angle, feeling the tendons strain, but the blade narrowly missed his shoulder. He switched his blade to a reverse grip, and came in with a backhand slash and then a follow through reverse slash.

((Training. I doubt we would have a real saber fight lol.))

Leaping back quickly, dodging the first slash, Anshin raised his blade blocking the second attmept, causing a saber lock. "Hmm I suppose you were getting trained pretty well." He replied, refering to his shoulder trick.

((In some of the books they say that they train with live blades, I always thought that was kinda stupid, so good.:CWat::CIsee::CHappy:))

Kyrick smiled, "A life time being trained by a Jedi swordsmaster kinda rubs off I guess." He pressed his blade into the saber lock. His reverse grip was a deffinite disadvantage here, he had no way to win the lock, but he couldn't lose either. Instead he twisted his blade to the side and dove off in a sideways roll.
