Either by discovering a mysterious package in your possession or having been approached by a stranger clad in black, you now find yourself holding a fine piece of parchment, a burning rose emblazoned at the top and elegant writing cascading down its surface. Transcribed on it in ebony ink is a formal invitation to join the Shadow Conclave. Fate has led you to this moment, and it is now up to you to decide.
Join us as we spread our influence and presence across the stars, one shadow at a time.

Due to the highly secretive nature of the Shadow Conclave, new members can only gain entrance ICly by being approached personally by the faction. Of course, OOCly new members still sign up on this thread as normal. It is then presumed that an agent of the Shadow Conclave, NPC or otherwise, reached out to your character and offered them a position in the faction. However, if you would like to roleplay your character's admittance, then that can be arranged as well.
