"I'll get that for you," the waiter said.

"Why not try working at the resort for a bit? It would be a job that would cause a bit less confusion and it might actually be safe." Jacob recommended.

The poor lad was in some ridiculous situation and hopefully, some sort of normal job might have a chance of helping the guy out. Also, if the lad continued working there, Jacob might have a chance to see if his work ethic was good enough to work for Jacob himself.

"I could probably hire you for something. Maybe you could deliver mail for me or maybe you could acquire valuable materials for some of my work."

The waiter then began walking back to get the food. It would probably be a little while till he could deliver the food. At the moment, they were barreling down the steep slope but they would soon be on the next valley between the ridges.

"As of now, I don't have any current jobs that need done. However, there are some projects that I might need done over time." Jacob said thinking of the various jobs that he might need done and that he would trust this guy to handle.

As he said that, the train began evening out over the valley. At that point, one of the waiters began coming out with the dessert tray. The key lime pie was visible on one of the lower levels.

"Cool," he said happy that he might have someone to help out. "It looks like we will only have one more ridge to pass over before we're out of this mountain chain. And from there, we'll be in the resort pretty soon."

The waiter kept moving from table to table but the key lime pie wasn't quite there yet. However, the waiter would have to move fairly quickly before the train climbed again which usually wasn't good for food balanced on the unsteady cart.

"Meromictic resort, it's by a large lake. It's very nice for doing a bunch of things like swimming, boating, waterskiing. And there are forests nearby for all sorts of things like hiking, hunting, and other stuff." He said imagining the relaxation and fun he could be having. Still his mind would probably occasionally wander into chemistry projects as he had been quite involved beforehand.

Finally, the waiter came and gave him the Key Lime pie and a fork. Soon, Jacob picked up the fork and got ready to munch on his delicious dessert.

"Not surprising, there's only two resorts on this line of track anyways. How much experience do you have with trains or any sort of public transportation?" He asked while digging a bit into his pie.

Such info could be useful depending on what he wanted to do. Transportation was rather important and familiarity could help in deciding what this lad should do. At the moment, the train began lifting up again though at a fairly shallow angle, it would increase with time.

"How did you get that, and why?" Jacob asked.

It seemed pretty absurd for some random nobody from Coruscant to have a fighter with so many weapons on it. Public transportation was cheaper than stuff like that and civilian private transportation was also a lot cheaper. While it would be possible for him to obtain a fighter, it would be a tremendous waste of money for him. Still, it wasn't his money.

"The hutt empire? How high of a rank are you? And why would you come here if you're doing so well?" He asked.

The notion seemed absurd that the hutts would give him such a fighter and then they'd let him go into Republic space simply to guard some random person. This was going back to testing Jacob's credulity. As he was trying to figure out how this worked, the train was entering some of the higher grades as it scaled the ridge, one of the steepest parts of the whole trip.

"Who all did you kill, and why did you spend your money on that? Also, as a recruit, why did the hutts let you go to Onderon for your personal gain?" He continued to ask.

The story made a little more sense than it did before but more nonsense was also added. Naturally, Jacob wanted to find out exactly what was going on as the story was so strange. While thinking that, he ate a few more bites of his pie and looked out across the lake and the area that the resort would be in.

"Okay, how did you manage to kill people rich enough to get their own ship as I think they would have competent bodyguards? Also, going AWOL is usually a serious infringement in most armies," He was trying to make some sense of what he was hearing.

However, it was pretty senseless. The fact that he would tell a random stranger that he was an assassin was bad enough, but then, he wouldn't tell who he killed despite the fact that the stranger was unlikely to know the victim. It was quite possible that this lad was a pathological liar or had some sort of mental illness was possible as these stories were ridiculous. Or maybe this guy was some sort of IRL troll who liked telling ridiculous stories.
