It had been a quiet day that was slowly turning to dusk as Yumera wandered the streets of Coruscant, eyes alert in case she saw someone just asking for their pockets to be picked. Unfortunately those alert eyes had only so far seen that everyone eyes her suspiciously and made darn sure she wasn't going to try for their pockets by putting their own hands on them. She supposed she did stand out a bit like a sore thumb here in one of the richer parts of town, what with all their fancy, spotless clothes and haughty demeanours. Just about all of them had turned their nose up just at the sight of her in her slightly dirty and not at all fashionable clothes. It wasn't her fault that those fancy clothes were always so tight! And in ways that were meant to show off assets, not allowing freedom of movement but rather restricting it.
It also wasn't her fault that she didn't have any assets to show off. She was still growing those! At least, that's what she told herself. She'd certainly been in a lot of situations that a nice pair would have gotten her out of a lot easier then having to lie through her teeth. She let out a sigh and put it out of her mind for the tenth time today. She had better things to focus on - like the big score she was scoping out even now. She had come across information that told her that one particular house here was owned by someone who had earned his fortune in a less then reputable manner; even less so then just stealing it. Selling weapons on the black market, as she had heard it - and she was just betting that he had a tidy 'rainy day' fund stored in the house's vault. It shouldn't be too much trouble to get into. Other then the armed guards anyways.
She had spied a good vantage spot earlier, before deciding to go try and pick a pocket or two and earn some supper. That hadn't panned out, so now she took a look around, and not seeing anyone clambered up onto a railing, then a roof to sit and watch the house she was casing. She needed to count the guards - and a quick count told her this might not be a job she could accomplish without some help. Her belly rumbled, angry at her for not feeding it, and she let out a sigh. Well, help or not, she was going to give it a try. She needed the food - and if she was starving, she knew there would be street urchins even worse off then her that could use some food as well.
