Ando Prime. A frozen hell on the edge of the galaxy where no one traveled. The most that was near was wildlife and even that was scarce. The chilling temperatures made sure nothing survived for long on the surface. Only the caves that ran beneath the planet gave shelter to any who dared travel to the planet. But only the Bogan knew of these caves. They were not natural but dug out by the Bogan themselves. Their lair ran deep beneath the frozen surface, hiding them from the eyes of their enemies. But only those who had been drawn in by their teachings and promises of power would know their location. Rish had been instructed by his higher ups to train a new acolyte.

Lucky for this acolyte, Rish had taken out most of his frustration on his last acolyte by killing him. But that was mostly due to the acolyte being a human. Rish despised human's with a passion and that just made things easier for Rish when he killed his last acolyte. Not only was he human but untrained in the Force. No knowledge what so ever. Oh how he hated human's and their stupidity. Rish expected more from his new acolyte. A Talortai. One of the few species in the galaxy that could live for centuries and not age one bit. A true work of the galaxy. He had a feeling his new student might prove to be something. He most certainly hope he could or he would wind up dead.

Sranding on the frozen surface, Rish could stand the cold winds finally. After being trained in the Force and his master teaching the skills necessary to concentrate the Force, Rish could stand in peace with no fear of his skin rotting off from the freezing temperatures. He awaited his acolyte Vaskil to arrive at the gate where Rish was standing infront of. Here, Rish would teach the fundamentals of the Bogan...

Vaskil worked his way through the frozen landscape towards the gate. His brown feathers kept him warm, but utop the feathers, black robes gave him the dark aura he needed to become a Bogan. A vibrosword clipped to his belt at his side, Vaskil stared the gate up and down from a distance. When the transport taking him and several other Bogan prospects landed, they were told to go to different areas for different masters. Vaskil pulled the master farthest away.

As the Talortai neared the gate, his keen golden eyes picked up a shadowy figure in the fog of the cold. Closer and closer, Vaskil knew it was his master and his heart pumped widly in his feathery chest. Finally reaching the gate, Vaskil's eyes were dead set on the figure standing in front of the gate. A small gulp relieved some of the nervousness Vaskil felt. Gathering enough courage, Vaskil spoke.

"Master. I'm your new acolyte."

Vaskil dropped to a knee and bowed his head, honoring the figure before him. His eyes were shut tightly, awaiting what his master would do.

His acolyte had finally arrived. But his student was failing already. Kneeling before him was unacceptable! The Bogan had no such ideology of respect in such terms of gestures. No each Bogan stood tall. All bearing the honor they had earned on their shoulders. But instead of igniting his saber right there and cutting his acolyte's head clean off his shoulders and letting his corpse freeze over, Rish calmed himself from the insolence his acolyte had just displayed.

"Rise, Vaskil. You are to never bow down to me again. The Bogan do not bow to one another. Unless it is to thee Bogan. Then utmost respect must be held for him or risk pain like you have never experienced."

Rish then backed slowly to the gate and lifted right hand toward the gate and beckoned the Force to his will and pulled the gate open. The gate's doors dragged along the snow creating mounds of it before finally coming to a stop so they might pass.

"Enter my acolyte. And you will return an instrument of hate and death."

"Yes, my master."

Vaskil couldn't figure out why he wouldn't give his own master the respect he deserved, but in the end he would figure it out. For now, he erected his body back into the standing position. His eyes searched his surroundings as he did so. As his master opened the gate, Vaskil began to walk forward. Upon his master's next sentance, he was filled with an abundance of pride and dread. Hate and death? Was he to become a monster? Was this what he was chosen for? Was this what he was born for? Questions filled his mind and it took everything he had to keep silent in the presence of his master.

Walking through the gate, Vaskil still couldn't see much, but he expected his master to show him the way. The white feathers, a bright contrast to the brown feathers of his body, rustled as he turned his eyes to the Bogan. He was so elegant, yet at the same time, he gave off the impression that he was a predator not to be messed with. Vaskil thought it was disgusting, but deep down inside something wanted to be like his master. Deep down within him the fire that burned coupled with the hate of his brother and the Jedi made him want to punish the galaxy for his mistreatment. This is what he was born for.

Walking side by side, Rish pulled his lightsaber from his utility belt and ignited its crimson blade. The hissing of the blade igniting rung through out the cave, giving off echoes along with thier foot steps. Rish ignited it so that they might have a clear path. Even if the distance the lightsaber revealed was not much at all.

"So my acolyte, what brought you here to Ando Prime? Was it the calling of power? A personal matter? Or merely someone brought here by a hand of fate?"

Rish practiced sounding like some cryptic being so in due time it would not be so alien for him to speak in such a manner. If he was going to become a Dark Master than it was best to brush up on every aspect that would generally make a Dark Master what he or she was. Rish was already on his way to becoming a marauder which was a specialization that an acolyte could choose after being trained to become a crusader. A marauder could cast down almost any foe within the realms of combat. They were the front lines of the Bogan forces. And a force to be reckon with. The other was an assassin. Using Dark Arts and the cover of shadows the Assassins could become one with their enemy. Feed off their Force energy and become more powerful than one could imagine.

As they progressed through the dark icy tunnel the soft sound of voices could be heard along with crackling of fires. They were nearing the Bogan temple's interior. A dark place in the galaxy. One of the few that existed.

As the saber ignited, Vaskil stared at it in awe. He had never seen one up close before. Of course, when the Jedi took his brother away, he saw it clipped to the Jedi's belt and he also saw one on the man that found him in the streets, but he never saw it ignited. The blade was brilliant and beautiful but hissed of a darker intent. Vaskil wanted one- he wanted one very badly. The deep desire to become a Bogan and punish the world for his mistreatment grew a little inside him.

When his master asked him the question, Vaskil pondered it. Why exactly was he here? He killed a couple bullies in cold blood. He had a severe hate towards the Jedi for taking his brother and not him. He was met by that man. Yes, that man in the black cloak had taken him to the ship which brought him here. But why was he here? After a moment he tried to describe it the best he could, using one of the options his master gave.

"A chance of fate, master. A man in a cloak witness me murder, and then he took me here."

Murder? There was enough of that here within the halls of the Bogan. Someone was bound to die through out the first week of their training. But it only showed who were the devout and those who failed to grasp anything the Bogan taught them. The Crusaders would then drag their bodies out into the cold wastes to freeze over with the rest. By now they were swinging by a corner only to lead into another tunnel but this one had a light at the end of it. Their march to the end of the tunnel was very brief due to the length of it. As they approached the light it was revealed to be torches mounted on the wall with two guardians near the gate. The two guardians merely bowed and slowly pushed the gate open for them to enter. Rish stepped on through and clicked off his lightsaber for now there was going to be plenty of light within the temple.

Rish took a moment to breathe in the fresh air. As fresh as it was going to get down here. Rish then turned to his acolyte and held his hands out in two separate directions.

"On my right is the test of strength. On my left is the is the test of will. Choose your path wisely it will determine which area you surpass in and in the other you undermine."

After his answer, the two walked in silence. Vaskil didn't like it down here. It was too closed in. He had a hard time adjusting to having no fresh air and not even when they walked through the door did Vaskil notice any change in the way the air smelled and breathed. The only thing that improved was the lighting. It was also warmer than outside, which was always a good thing. As his master stepped in front of him and turned around to face the talortai, Vaskil's mind raced with the possibilities of what could happen. When he heard his master speak, he had to think.

Well, I'm strong- stronger than most. I'm not the smartest but I could work on that. Why can't I do both? No... no he said one or the other. I have to choose one. What if I go through strength and it's too easy? What if I go through will and it's too hard? Why can't it be simple?

Reaching a decision, Vaskil answered.

"Strength, master."

"Very well. Vaskil. Follow me this way. Oh and will we touch base with the will test eventually. But your decision has only lightened the load that is to be bared."

Rish then turned to his right and assumed another march. The halls they passed through were filled with an assortment of sounds. Screaming along with the clashing of weapons and the humming of lightsabers. They soon arrived to the entrance of the training room which was quite massive. Each master and acolyte had a mat to themselves where they trained and exchanged blood in heated combat.

Rish took off the torso section of his robes and set it aside on the floor near the mat. Removing the piece of his robe exposed Rish's chest that was built to perfection. He focused on his strength to become a walking tank within combat so none may oppose him. Rish then stepped onto the mat on one end and assumed the Ataru stance with his deactivated lightsaber in hand.

"Vaskil, grab one of those cortorsis blades from that rack. Your first lesson will be how to fend for yourself in combat. Especially against our enemy. The Jedi."

Vaskil followed his master through the halls. With every scream he cringed and with every clash of blades and spark of lightsaber he jumped slightly. He would have to get used to all this. It was for the better right? Yeah, of course it was- the galaxy was an unfair place and he had to punish it. He had to punish all the people that caused him pain in his life, especially his brother. Entering into a massive training room, Vaskil stopped in awe. Snapping back to reality a couple seconds later he hurried to keep up with his master until they got to an empty mat.

"Yes, Master"

As his master gave him the command, Vaskil went over to the rack and picked up a cortosis sword. It was pretty good weight, not too light and not too heavy. He spun it a couple times in his hand to get a feel for it before marching back over to the mat where his master waited. Vaskil didn't know any stances as his master did, so he simply bent his legs a little and positioned the blade at a forty-five degree angle upwards, starting at his crotch and pointed at his master.

"I'm ready, Master."

"I hope you truly are..."

Rish ignited his lightsaber and assumed one of the most questionable forms. The Ataru form was a style that called for whoever used it to be creative. One must change up the attacks and use acrobatics to mix with the form. Rish had been using the form for several months now and was becoming an adept at it. And before Rish would strike he turned down the setting on his lightsaber to give light burns rather than cut up his acolyte. Then fueling his mind with memories of his past that had caused him so much despair and hate, Rish was finally ready to begin.

Starting off into a sprint, Rish quickly performed a somersault that went straight over vaskil's head and touched down a couple feet away. Rish then immediately performed a small dash at his acolyte and swiped his saber from the right to left at level with Vaskil's chest.

Vaskil was confused at his master's response. All confusion disappeared when his master sprinted at him. The talortai braced himself for an impact when all of a sudden his master summersaulted over his head. Vaskil watched him in awe until he landed and dashed towards him. Vaskil lifted his blade just in time to block the attack. It was completely blocked; Vaskil was sent backwards because he didn't have a proper stance. Falling on his ass to his embarassment, Vaskil remembered all the kids growing up making fun of him and laughing at him. Hate filled his heart.

Quickly getting to his feet, Vaskil sprinted at his master. He couldn't stop himself, the hate within was fuelling him. He thrust forward, his blade aimed at his master's chest. If his master couldn't see his hatred, he would be able to feel it. It burned through Vaskil's body and burned around him. The training room's laughter fell silent at the sight of it.

That was the spark Rish wanted to see. Vaskil had tapped into his emotions and was using them to turn himself into something of a weapon. All that he did from beyond this point would be dangerous until he calmed himself. Vaskil's attack was a blind one though. He was not thinking straight. He had not been trained to do so yet but the time would come for him to learn. Rish had enough time to beckon the Force to his whim. Pulling up his left arm with an open hand, Rish sent a wave of of invisible energy right at Vaskil! Better known as a Force push. The invisible wave caused the dirt and dust that had settled on the floor to disperse in every directions. The energy would do at best knock Vaskil off his feet.

He had no intention of beating him into his submission so that he could teach him with ease. He only did such things to acolytes who showed no promising future. But Vaskil was destined for greater things. Many Jedi would fall by his hand. All Rish would have to do is teach him how to slay them.
