I managed to slice into this background file that nobody knows about, since it doesn't exist. A bit of personality is bound to liven it up. Plus, I felt the need to justify some of the info. So much objectivity might make me look bad.

NAME: Simha Tai-Kan
FACTION: Black Nykey Pirates / Zone Runners / Sector 13 (Being Processed)
RANK: T.B.D.
SPECIES: Togorian
AGE: 20
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 9'9"
WEIGHT: 366 lbs.
All muscle and good looks, ladies...
EYES: Yellow
HAIR: Tawny, Thick Black Stripes
SKIN: Unknown (Covered in fur)
CREDITS: 1,000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: N/A
DOMINANT HAND: Ambidextrous
FORCE SENSITIVE: No

STRENGTH: 8/10
DEXTERITY: 9/10
CONSTITUTION: 10/10
INTELLIGENCE: 6/10
WISDOM: 7/10
CHARISMA: 6/10

SKILLS:
  • Beast Taming / Riding - Skill acquired whilst taming pet mosgoth (deceased). Simha is able to calm many types of non-sentient creatures through a process of physical communication.
I remember my mosgoth... Sweet as a hatchling, vicious when hunting, smooth ride as a mount. Taro, I named him... I miss the scaly guy...
  • Sc'rath Wielding - An adept at the use of the Togorian scimitar, or sc'rath, Simha is proficient at wielding the weapon in either hand, or both of them at the same time, in forward or reverse grips.
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat - A fierce warrior, Simha learned his skills from his captain during his time as a pirate.
  • Intimidation - As a Togorian of larger stature and more advantageous build, Simha is an unsettling sight to most sentients he encounters. When sweet-talking fails, he is not afraid to get his claws dirty.
If by 'unsettling' you mean 'damn near every human child I meet pisses their trousers, and many adults react the same way,' then yes, I guess I'm 'unsettling'. Who in blazes wrote this profile? "not afraid to get his claws dirty"?

SWORD FORMS:
  • Sc'rath Forms - Generally, Simha wields his sc'rath in either a forward or a reverse grip, utilizes thrusts and lunges and counters, and uses his superior strength to his advantage. He also has some skill in disarming opponents who use longblades against him while wielding a sc'rath.
  • Pirate Form - A style reliant on both deceptive movements and physical strength, Simha learned this style while living as a pirate in his youth. This style requires the use of a longblade, however, something he doesn't generally carry.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
  • Durability - Due to his Togorian makeup, Simha has a dense bone structure, allowing him to absorb more trauma than a similarly built being of a different race.
  • Honor - Like many of his race, Simha possesses a strong sense of honor. He won't draw a blade or a blaster on an unarmed opponent, and he won't kill a man for information. He is also loyal to his allies, and will readily sacrifice life and limb for those he considers friends.
Ahh... Warms your heart, doesn't it?
  • Stubborn - Again, like many Togorians, Simha will usually stick to a decision no matter what, even resorting to brute force when subtler methods fail.
Hey, I am NOT stubborn! Whoever wrote this thing is in for... Oh... There it is... I guess I can be a little on the stubborn side...
GEAR:
Preferred Garments:
  • Leather Leggings - Black
  • Oversized Kama - Black
  • Foot / Lower Leg Wrappings - Crimson
  • Sleeveless Hooded Cloak - Black
  • Leather Tabard With Pattern - Black & Silver
  • Forearm / Wrist Wrappings -Crimson
  • Cortosis Plate Vambraces
  • Sash - Crimson
A comfortable, reliable outfit, which also serves as a souvenir from my pirating days. Not too vulnerable, not too restricting. Drives the females wild in the cantinas.

SHIP:

The Assassin's Shadow is a light cruiser that can accommodate up to twenty passengers, although not exactly comfortably. Equipped with a powerful engine, state-of-the-art stealth systems (hence the name), standard deflector shields, a deadly MAC cannon, a self-installed ion cannon, and heavy blaster turrets, the Shadow is more technologically advanced than Simha would choose, but it was in his possession when he was recruited into Sector 13, and so it also 'doesn't exist,' thus leaving it as the only personal ship available for him to use.
It's actually a fantastic ship... Glad I commandeered it... It fits the image of a nonexistent agent.

PETS:
  • Mosgoth - Name: Taro - Deceased
  • Narglatch - Name: Sil - Alive
For some reason, I got to keep Sil. Maybe because of the cybernetic eye he's fitted with. Transmits to a handheld pad, so I see what he sees. Handy. He doesn't get along well with strangers. He barely gets along with me. A few taps keeps him in line though. That's right, I'm the Alpha on the Shadow!
PERSONALITY: Simha possesses the expected personality of a Togorian male. He has a strong sense of honor, he's distrusting of strangers, loyal to his friends, and he has a nomadic spirit. He enjoys his missions, as they allow him to travel, and occasionally to fight. He is also affected by his history away from Togoria, and has an affinity for wild animals.
Again with the racial expectations...Just because I spent a few years being a nomad with the other men, I'm supposed to be the 'normal' Togorian? These profiles suck...

HISTORY:
Born on Togoria, Simha went through the normal life of a male until he was thirteen years old. He received his hatchling mosgoth Taro when he was five. However, it contracted some type of sickness a few months before Simha left Togoria.
Not much detail here... Makes sense, we didn't exactly keep records of our activities while we were out. I guess I can divulge some information... My father's uncle was the Margrave while I was on Togoria, but I think he's been succeeded by his son by now. Not really important, but I was taunted enough for it in my later years... Anyway, like the objective profile writer says, I got Taro when I was five, and lost him before I left the planet. Most of my life, I was just like the other cubs. Until my first hunt, I wasn't particularly impressive. But that first takedown... I jumped form Taro with sc'rath in hand... The blood got everywhere... After my first kill, I started to get more and more interested in it. After a while, I became more and more skilled, the pride of my father...
When he was thirteen, a band of pirates adopted him, once the captain discovered that the young male had lost his mosgoth. After that, Simha served on the crew of the Black Nykey. After his first year, he became almost like a prized possession of the captain, respected for his size and strength, and feared by fellow pirates and raid victims alike. He earned a reputation among the crew as a destructive behemoth, due in part to his massive size and his habit of wreaking havoc on the interior of ships.
Ahh, the good old days... Nothing simpler than boarding a ship, kicking some passengers, roaring a few times, then making off with some loot... I still had my sc'rath, but the captain said it wasn't intimidating enough. So he made me carry a massive vibroblade into the ships we boarded... Nearly half my size, thicker than you could imagine... I still have it. It's hanging in the cockpit of the Assassin's Shadow.
After five years of being a pirate, Simha was captured by Republic forces. His ship and his personal gear were all locked away, and he was put into a medium-security prison. Shortly after, he was part of a successful escape attempt, and he joined a small zone runner group under the alias of Marrow, figuring that the profession was near enough to his favorite elements of piracy to keep him happy, and that serving the Republic was less likely to get him in trouble. It was around this time that he caught his pet narglatch, Sil.
Yeah, a lot of fun, those prisons... The inmates were... Grumpy... To say the least. I got a lot of fights in there, since a lot of people tried to prove themselves by taking me down. Misguided attempts, for the most part... Although there was a Wookiee this one time... That was a close one... Incidentally, he was part of the escape. Funny how things work out...

After I got out, I joined up with a small Republic force. It wasn't too hard to get in, just change my name, and sign up. Apparently, for humans, they needed credentials for everything. Since I'm from Togoria, and there are no documents to certify that I was born, they didn't make too much fuss. Besides, the work was dangerous, and the lack of paperwork made it easier on them in the event that I were blown to smithereens. I picked the name Marrow off the top of my head. I guess I was hungry...

After a few months as a zone runner, a Sector 13 agent approached him. Soon after, he was processed, and became an agent.
I guess someone took notice of the timeline... Togorian prisoner escapes, a Togorian joins the zone runners shortly after. They run an I.D. check on my face, and come up positive. The Sector 13 folks were interested, and they gave me a choice to join, or rot in jail. I went with the obvious one.
