Hey, guys. So I've come up with a few guidelines for the "Smooth Criminal" role-play.

Control your own character. PCs should only control the outcome of actions against their own characters. This counts for all NPCs as well. I'd like to see words like "attempt", "tried", "aimed" and "directed" be used concerning actions towards each others. Only once a PC has replied to an action against them can that action be role-played as having "hit" or "missed" by the person whom originally posted the attack.

Keep everything realistic. Realism covers things like the amount of actions a character can realistically perform as well as what action can be realistically performed. So a blaster pistol wielding scoundrel will not realistically be able to take on two assailants at the same time without either finding adequate cover or by moving from cover to cover and a droid will not be able to be as mobile as a sentient being and be less likely to go for things like cover. Also things usually happen in mere seconds so I don't want a single character do a million things in a single post.

No looting items or creating items out of thin air. This really covers everything like droids suddenly having shields or a character seeing something really valuable and taking it. First off not a lot of droids have actual shields (only droidekas come to mind) as most only have armour plating and stuff of value that can be easily be put in your inventory will most likely not be laying around randomly.

I'd like Andreus to post right after I've posted this. In his post he will detail all the security and specifications of that security (within reason). After that he will PM me two ways to overcome these "obstacles" to avoid having anyone role-play magically knowing how to overcome these "obstacles" after having seen the solutions. Once he has made that post it and its been deemed reasonable; that will be how it stays for the rest of the role-play.

When he has done that I'd like the both of you to post what items and equipment you characters have on you as well (also within reason) and that's what its going to stay for the rest of the role-play.

After each round of posting (after all three of you have posted once); I will post in this thread a small summary on what actions were successful and what failed. Also when a character "attempts" to get past a certain security obstacle I will also post whether that has been done successfully or not.

Generally guys I just want things to be kept respectful towards each other and each other's characters. This is meant to be a fun role-play and its the job of the NPC to make things challenging not impossible; and the job of the PCs to make to pace themselves while doing things and not to try and just get to the objective and end the role-play. Anyway I hope everyone is okay with the following. If not lol then I don't know what to do. :)

Most importantly have fun guys. That's what I want most of all.
