What about all the other species in the galaxy? What about the Mon Calamari and the Gungans for example? They're both large enough to have factions to represent them given there is enough people to play as them. How about we branch out a bit more? Or is stuff like that left for a new timeline when more focus is put on these factions.

I think the Mon Calamari are bada$$. Like the Gungans they can breath both above and under water, have cool technology and simple enough hierarchy with rich history as well.

What do you guys think about starting an indie and seeing where this can go?

Mon Cala would be a huge a huge part of the Jedi/Republic faction. They always have been. I'd be down though

They aren't factions, they are species. No need to have a faction for species themselves; that would be like having a 'human' and 'twi'lek' faction. Some races are used more often than others, but that's probably because it's easier to portray a human or humanoid than something completely alien to us like a Gand or a lamproid.

What are Chiss? And I'm aware they share their world with Quarren but I'm also aware they have a monarchy going on. So essentially they're a government.

The Chiss are kind of a special case because they developed their entire civilization in the Unknown Regions, with little to no contact with the rest of the galaxy. They also accept members from other races (I think), it's just primarily made up of Chiss.

If you make a Gungan faction, I'll light the homeworld on fire and then sodomize the FL with a Chevin's trunk.

The Chiss have their own faction because they pretty much made an empire for themselves. You're free to make an Indie faction for gungans, but as stated above, they'd be targeted for fire practice most likely.

Well, that's why I'm thinking of making one for Mon Calamari. Although, they're not an empire I believe; they're a big part of the story line. And I recall some FL saying that its not the size of the faction but their importance in the story.

So you can try to light us on fire Mars but you'll just be weighed, measured and found wanting...lol

Anyway, Apollo is up for it. We'll need one more and I'll get things cracking after I finish the NCIS write up. :)

I don't think it's possible to make a pure mon cal faction, to be honest. The entire species is a member of whatever main faction's territory their homeworld lies in. It's that simple. /opinion

Yeah, I understand that. That's why I want to make it. As a way to play a supporting role on the GA and Jedi side without having to be a GA or Jedi or Mando or Imp Knight. If its not allowed, though. I'll understand.
