She was happy. Awake, alive, full of light and she could see. Nothing could break this from her. That is until the door opened and someone came in. She turned her head to see who had come in, and then everything stopped. Aeryun felt like the world fell out from underneath her. Her eyes were clearly playing tricks on her, but in that first sight...Aeryun saw her mother.

"Mom?" she would say in a soft whisper.

She knew it couldn't be true. It couldn't be. The woman was wearing all white which resembled the long dresses her mother would wear. It took her a minute to adjust and realize that the face and everything was not her mother, and as she blinked and tried to focus it did indeed fix itself. As the image of her mother left her Aeryun began to realize the truth of it all: her parents were gone.

"Ah, The subject is awake and apparently capable of seeing me."

The first woman stepped aside and another would enter. Another girl, likely around her own age (not that Aeryun would even recognize herself in the mirror anyway), with long black hair and blank looking eyes. The outfit she was in scared Aeryun. So many straps. So much restraint. Was the girl dangerous? Or was she a danger to herself? She remembered the feeling of the cuffs on her wrists and how that had driven her crazy. Being in a suit like that would destroy her completely.

"This is Annex. She's an extraordinary success in my experiments and capable to hyperenchant any sense, as well as circumvent it's shortcomings....As long as I want it, that is."

Aeryun then felt an incredible release in her head as the sight left her. She exhaled in a deep whine as her body was suddenly freed from the tension. Her eyes were still open, and they searched the room for some sort of light. There was nothing. Nothing except one image. One single image she couldn't seem to get out of her head. Her mother.

She pictured her mother, walking along her stream back home. Her long white dress flowing behind her. It was one of her more fancier ones, the one she'd been married in actually. She was so beautiful. She was so lovely. Aeryun would give anything now to be with her mother. The pain she'd buried so long along was now coming up and she couldn't hold it back. She began to sob. The pain was too much. How could she expect to deal with all of this? These last few days were just too much. No one in their right mind could stand up to all this drama. She was just a little girl after all.

"Please stop," she would beg the woman before they even began. "Please don't do this. Please just let me go. Please just let me go."

This made the woman pause a second. Aeryun could hear her taking a sharp breath and taking a step closer "Well, we ofcourse can skip all the nonsense. We are tired of the fights, we are tired of all the attacks. All we want now is a way to end it all. Engage in megotiations. Get some agreement of not killing each other. Jou will be the first to be free to go wherever tou want, all we need is a way to find and contact your Order, get them to listen. Make peace, finally.."

Aeryun groaned and turned her head to the woman as her tears came pouring from her eyes. She tugged at her restraints and wished she could use the Force to increase her strength. She tried to rip whatever straps were holding her down from the bed she lie on, but her tiny arms had no strength to give.

"I don't know where to find them!" she would say with honesty. "I can't help you. Please just let me go."

"Hmpf.." The older Sith would respond "The sad thing is that I somehow believe you." Then, she heard her stepping closer "But that does not mean that I just can neglect my shedule and let you go"

Then, it did not need much of Force sensitivity to sense that the sith was building up for some kind of attack "If I can not get the Information required, I will simply drain you of everything you.."

She was interrupted by a loud klicking sound, followed wit her loud complaining "What idiot switched out the lights?"

But even this sentence was not spoken out completely, as the well known buzzing of a pair of Lightsabers was heared, followed by a lot of buzzing and fizzing of a short but hefty Loghtsaber fight.

Then it was silent for a while, the air smelling and tasting of ozone and burnt flesh.

Steps coming closer.

Straps beig removed.

"Do not get any ideas here. I am not here to help you, but if I hate one thing more then the Jedi it's incompetent interrogators and people not following my orders."

She then felt her Lightsabers handed to her, seperated from the enegy cells.

"You will leave this place. Right now. Follow me an do what I tell you, or you will die here"

"Hmpf...The sad thing is that I somehow believe you...But that does not mean that I just can neglect my schedule and let you go"

Aeryun would begin to struggle a little more rashly and continue to beg, "Please....please don't do this! Just let me go! Please!"

"If I can not get the Information required, I will simply drain you of everything you...-click-...What idiot switched out the lights?"

Hearing the sounds of lightsabers activating made Aeryun tense. Her fingers gripped at the bedding underneath her and she tugged as hard as she could against the straps. She was going to die. But then another saber was activated and she heard the sounds of the beams crashing and colliding. Someone was fighting? Being captive for so long she couldn't possibly believe someone was coming to save her, it just didn't even seem rational.

And then it was silent. The fight was over. No screaming, no begging, just death. Who had won? Was it this crazy doctor Sith lady, or was it some other champion? Who's custody was she in now? She sat still now, not knowing what to expect. Struggling was futile. All she could so was accept whatever fate was coming to her, but she didn't want to.

"Please," she begged whoever was still alive. "Please let me go."

The person got closer to her and she kept crying and pleading. Then she felt the straps being taken off. She was being let go?

"Do not get any ideas here. I am not here to help you, but if I hate one thing more then the Jedi it's incompetent interrogators and people not following my orders."

Lynn.

Aeryun sat still. Confused. Lynn was saving her. Lynn was undoing her straps. Aeryun's breathing picked up but her crying was starting to cease. It was replaced with anger. What mindset was this Sith in? She was saving her? Or simply taking her back to her old cell? Was she just coming to torture her someone. Make her choose some impossible decision and then punish her by murdered innocent lives? She was then handed two sabers and the first thing she did was push the buttons. She heard soft clicks, no energy core.

"You will leave this place. Right now. Follow me an do what I tell you, or you will die here"

Aeryun could not believe was she was hearing. Lynn was letting her go. No. This had to be a trick. She sat up, searching carefully with the Force to see if she'd be shocked or attacked first. Once she knew she was safe she reached out and tried to get a feel for Lynn's emotions. She saw the room around her, the dead woman who'd been interrogating her lie lifeless by the door.

"Why are you doing this?" she would ask. "Why are you saving me?"

For a few seconds, Aeryun wound not receive a spoken answer. But the environment have her hints. The breath of the sith was rattling, as if every breath was hard to archive, and that not only caused by the fight. Her steps were irregular, so a leg wound was to assume. Also, the sith apparently had a leak, as the occasional heavy dripping that was for sure not sweat told her.

"I just told you. I'm not saving you. Get your batterys into your sabers and up, unless you wish to get gunned down by the security that's bound to arrive anytime soon. I will do hell to defend me and you at the same time, not to mention I simply can't"

Aeryun could feel the stress from her Sith savior. Her empathy wanted her to share in her pain and help relief some of it, but her anger for the woman refused to let the feeling in. The Jedi in her told her that she should go heal the woman. Maybe she didn't feel like much of a Jedi right then.

"I just told you. I'm not saving you. Get your batterys into your sabers and up, unless you wish to get gunned down by the security that's bound to arrive anytime soon. I will do hell to defend me and you at the same time, not to mention I simply can't"

Aeryun let out a loud sigh as she mentally argued with herself. She wanted a chance to escape; she wouldn't wait for another one to come around. She got up from the table and tore apart the sabers that were given to her. It took a little longer than she was used to since they were not her sabers. She then activated the beams and felt the weight in her hands.

"I'm not used to using two sabers," she said to Lynn, but mostly to herself.

The way she figured, she could fight easily enough against soldiers. They'd be easy enough to get by even if she wasn't proficient with duel wielding. Should she end up getting in a fight with say another Force user, then she'd more than likely ditch the other.

Aeryun moved past Lynn and stood in the doorway searching for enemy life. She had no idea which way to go, so she would have to rely on Lynn's directions.

"Which way?"

The recently freed Norrian would now be able to hear the Sith move fast but carefully move towards the door, leaving a constant trail of dripping noises in her wake. Only after the Sith reached the door, and apparently after checking for any signs of the sound of a horde if heavy boots closing in but not yet getting any she spoke up "To the right. The left way leads down, and I already cleared that area. Didn't find your stuff, tho."

Aeryun then felt the Siths glance on her as she proceeded "Dual wielding one oh one. One saber to fight, one to defend. Trust the Force for a change to not hit yourself, girl." at the end of the Sentence, Lynn's voice lost itself a little yust as if she had to concentrate hard in staying awake. But that did not stop her from moving on into the hallways, and if Aeryun would follow, she would at least once step into a small puddle of blood as well as smell the smoke and ionization of tge air usualy following a hefty blaster barrage.

"This is not a simple prison. They use the inmates for all kinds of experiments that even I can not agree on. We can not afford to let anyone life and proceed in another place.." her voice trailed off again, and she leaned against the wall before collapsing slowly to the floor. "I.. Just need to catch my breath.. For a minute.."

"To the right. The left way leads down, and I already cleared that area. Didn't find your stuff, tho."

"Yeah I could really use my saber," she thought to herself. It was more of a want than anything. A saber was a saber in the end.

"Dual wielding one oh one. One saber to fight, one to defend. Trust the Force for a change to not hit yourself, girl."

She could tell that Lynn was having trouble talking, and she wondered how long she could keep it up. As she stepped, she felt her feet step in the wet and sticky pile and it sent a shiver through her leg. That could not be good. How bad was she wounded?

"This is not a simple prison. They use the inmates for all kinds of experiments that even I can not agree on. We can not afford to let anyone life and proceed in another place.."

As she tried to talk yet again her energy seemed to give out and Aeryun felt her fall to the floor. She didn't quite catch her in time, but she was right there on her knees holding her head a second later. The sabers fell to the floor seconds after.

"Lynn!" She'd shout out of surprise.

"I.. Just need to catch my breath.. For a minute.."

"Oh you've got to be kidding me," she would say to herself again.

Aeryun closed her eyes and focused her breathing. She brought the Force to her and placed her hands on the wound. Using her healing abilities, she began to heal Lynn as quickly as her body would allow. She needed to at least close it up so the woman could stand up on her own. She needed Lynn to guide her. She couldn't escape on her own.

"Please stay awake," she would say with some poison in her voice. "You can die after you get me out of here."

Aeryun would need a litle more effort then closing a wound, would she want to heal the Sith. Somehow the joung girl had managed to get a deep cut to the forehead, a slug wound to the right forearm that apparently was still stuck there, two cracked ribs, a Lightsaber stab to the hip, and another deep cut to her right leg. There were also a huge load of wounds that already have been healed recently, and not so recently. Most of them around her back and shoulders.

For now, focussing on preventing more blood loss would have to suffice to give her a fighting chance. But somehow Aeryun would feel that it's somehow easier to heal her, as if the Force approved of it and gave her some support.

Trough cloudy senses and slowed thoughts, Lynn felt the healing, although it was completely strange to her. Unlike the Sith version of healing that forced her body simply to mend, this girl supported her natural healing, giving her a warm and fuzzy feeling.

It was uncompfortable, and so the wounded Sith interrupted theJedi as soon as she felt the bleeding stop. "That's enough. There are a few more levels to fight trough until we reach the surface and we still need to disarm the air defenses on the way."

She then tested herself by getting up painfully and slow, she found herself ready to procceed although it was probably not advisable to fight a four armed opponent with Lightsaber resistant blades anytime soon. But at the same time, the healing was impressive, even to her. So she felt the beed to say something. Looking at the norrian wit a not so arrogant look anymore, she gave as much of a thanks as she could muster. Jedi were still her enemies after all "So you do have some skills with the Force." (hey, we're talking about Lynn here)

Aeryun tried not to let the overwhelming number of wounds distract her. She continued to heal Lynn as quickly as time allowed. She tried to keep her mind on task, but had to keep stopping to look up and search for enemies. Still safe, she continued.

"That's enough. There are a few more levels to fight trough until we reach the surface and we still need to disarm the air defenses on the way."

Lynn gave her the signal to stop and pushed her off of her with her words, so Aeryun backed off and took a minute to regain her strength she lost after using her powers. She watched the Sith struggle to her feet with little sympathy. She could have helped the girl if she asked. Well, maybe. Aeryun still didn't like her.

"So you do have some skills with the Force."

Did she just compliment her? Aeryun was a little stunned. She didn't know how to respond to that. Normally she'd give a thank you, but this girl was still her enemy. She felt like she was insulting her a little.

She decided to play the tough act and reply, "You'd be surprised with what I can do."

Aeryun then began to move down the hall and would listen carefully with her senses. She kept her thumbs on the triggers of her saber and readied herself for whatever would come for them. Aeryun was ready. She would not get captured again.

The hallway the very unlikely allies were about to go to would end in a lift, one big enough to transport arisoner in his cage and enough guards. Or one and half a dozen Guards in heavy armor and armed to the teeth.

Lynn could se that as well as Aeryun felt it when the doors opened.

Immediately, Lynn began to swirl her Lightsabers, attempting to block or reverse as many shots as she could. "Time to surprise me then," she snarled, as she was blocking some bolts that never would have hit her but most likely her 'companion' "Because I do not plan to die down here"

As the hail of blaster shots flew along the hallways, with no way to take cover except back into the deathtrap of a one-entrance-having room they came from, Aeryun would feel her arms moving to block with both sabers in fluid motions. It was as if the Fforce itself devided to help her out.

As they got to the lift Aeryun had only a moment to react until they came under fire of the guards. She'd been so distracted thinking about Lynn that she somehow missed the large faction coming at them.

Her hands were already on the triggers, so her saber beams ignited with little hesitation. Thankfully due to her normal defensive style that her friend taught her, she would not be overwhelmed by the onslaught. Her arms waved around trying to block the incoming blasts. Even though she'd never used two sabers before, she found the fluid motion of it all came easier to her than she would have expected.

"Time to surprise me then because I do not plan to die down here"

Aeryun could feel herself backing up, heading back towards her prison. She knew she could do let her enemies push her back, but she needed the space between them. Lynn however was not giving in. The girl had more confidence than Aeryun. She had more experience. Duel wielding was her first choice of fighting.

But then Aeryun's training began to kick in. She let herself flow into the Force and become one with it. Her arms began to move with more purpose. Each stroke was timed to not only block a saber, but also to redirect it. Not every shot was at the right angle to do so, yet she found the ones that were. She was no longer acting like a swordsman who was trying to defend herself. Now, with the Force aiding her, she was reacting against the guns. It was more than simply seeing where the blaster bolts would strike, it was knowing when. It was almost like she was directing their guns to shoot at her saber.

One by one they began to fall. Aeryun felt their pain. She felt them dying. Each death meant one more step closer to her freedom. She began to move back to her first position. Slowly at first, but she regained the distance. She was invincible. She felt more powerful than she had ever felt. Was this the Dark side?

"They will be the ones to die," she'd now reply to Lynn as she came up alongside her.

An acknowledging nod was all Lynn was capable of, and thus she braced herself to either come out of this place alive or have a most glorious death.

So the escape from the complex from there on was like a feverish dream, Aeryun and Lynn charging the remaining security forves, their Lightsabers a blurred shield, covering not only the one but also these attacks the oher one missed. As they advanced to the lift, most of the guards switched to their melee gear, but their chances of survival were nonexistent. One Force user they may have been abled to manage, but these two were like a four armed kali, moving in a manner that lashed out in all directions at once, covering each other without the need of speaking and moving like they trained this one fight for years.

As soon as the guards surrendered, they simply looked up and found the cabin if the elevator lacking a ceiling. Wich was good as the lift was under security lockdown. Taking only a slight headstart, and again understanding the plan ahead without the need to communicate they both simply ran up the wall in a spiral pattern, using the gravity to their advantage and once arrived at the ground level did not even stop to fight the twenty guards attempting to shhot them as soon as they arrived. The guards were not prepared enough for that, as all they were able to see were three blurred lines for less then a fraction of a second. It even needed a wole second for these guards the Force users had to cut away to actually react an fall to the floor in various states of 'being chopped'.

Interestingly, it turned out that at least one of the entrances was in the sublevel of the barracks, and since almost all manpower have been diverted downstairs, the colony was now eerily silent.

Turning around to Aeryun, the Sith acolyte was about to simply give some snarky remark and walk off on the Jedi, but was beaten to the punch by a surprising voice to her right, causing her to yelp, make a jump a meter away from the source of the voice and raise her blades. It was the girl that were with the torturer, who apparently hid her presence from the two the whole time and, if one thought about it afterwards, most probably was responsible for the sudden surfe of power and cooperation the two felt.

"That was a fun ride. After all these years suppressed and leashed... I am now free with the galaxy as my playground. Thanks to you two."

There was unfortunately not much time to reacr to that, as the next Aeryun was aware of was her standing on the bridge, faintly aware of the fact that her druid gently shook her shoulder and repeating her name.

This all could have been a trick, avision or even a bad dream. But it wasn't. The feeling of both of the lend Lightsabers clutched in her hand unignited in addition to her own personal Lightsaber dangling on her hip proved the contrary.

Aeryun was free again. And save. But something deep inside her stirred and felt strange. The definite feeling that her freedom came with a price that was not yet to be measured...

(Last post by me, one response to wrap up the thread could not hurt, methinks)

Fighting alongside Lynn was one of the strangest things Aeryun had ever done. Their movements were perfect and their teamwork was flawless. A total merging of their souls. The Light and the Dark coinciding together in a balance unlike anything anyone could imagine.

They finished off the task force that tried to oppose them and then their sights turned to the wall. Aeryun would jump and begin to run counterclockwise; Lynn swiftly coming up behind her. They were a blur of motion circling up the ascending tower.

With a grand leap they came out of the top only to meet yet another horde of resistance. Not that it would be much of one. Laser bolts were all around them but the two Force users were not even scared. Again the two would block and protect one another as they came at the group head on.

With almost no effort, their adrenaline pumping through their veins, the security fell to their might and now it was quiet. They stood tall and proud as they gathered their bearings until someone they hadn't even realized was there made their presence known.

Lynn jumped with a gasp and Aeryun would turn to the threat as well. All blades were turned on the girl. Aeryun felt a horrible darkness in this girl, now that she could actually use her powers. It made her physically sick to her stomach.

"That was a fun ride. After all these years suppressed and leashed... I am now free with the galaxy as my playground. Thanks to you two."

And then it was over.

Aeryun snapped back to reality and felt her droid bobbing her on the shoulder trying to get her attention. She took a step back suddenly and a large breath; her nose smelled the stale and recycled air of the life support system. She looked around trying to find herself and where she was. Her ears picked up on the metal clanging against her boots.

"Lynn!" She'd shout. Again her ears picked up on the closed room she was in as her voice reverberated off the walls. "Lynn, are you ok?!"

"Mistress?" her droid asked her confused. "Are you alright? You've been standing there silent for some time now."

She would push past him as her brain frantically searched for answers. Aeryun could tell she was alone; no other life forces were near her. But how did she get where she was? And where was this anyway?

She stopped right in front of a wall and put her hands against it. She began to hyperventilate. What was going on?! She needed answers. She rested her head on the wall while her body tried to compensate against her panic attack.

"LYNN!!!" She would scream. "LYNN???!?!!"

There came no answer. Her droid walked itself over to her and would put its cold metal hand on her shoulder once more. She brushed him away and ended up losing her balance. She sunk down slowly, using the wall to steady her. She sat now with her butt to the wall and her hand over her heart.

"Mistress!" The droid would keep repeating with a sense of urgency. It didn't exactly have a fear setting to its voice modulator.

"Where am I?" She would ask. "M-7 where am I?"

"You're on the ship, of course."

"The ship?" She repeated. "That's not possible. I was just..."

She tried remembering how she got here. She was fighting with Lynn. then the witch showed up. After that there was nothing. She was here. Just like that.

Was it real? Was it a dream or a lie? How did she know if she was even here? It felt real. Her heart beating in her chest made her feel like she was dying. She couldn't be sure. She had to find out.

Aeryun calmed herself down and got to her feet; her droid continued to try and understand what was going on with her. She held her hand up to silence him suddenly and then it was quiet.

"Get the ship in the air. Fly us to neutral space. Just get us the off this planet."

Aeryun then walked away from the droid and headed straight for her room. The ship would soon leave and Aeryun sat in her room until she was sure she was safe. Once she sensed they'd entered light speed she would get up and walk to her small sink in the corner.

Taking a deep breath she tried to recreate the sensation she'd felt back in the room. She knew that had been real. There was no faking that horrible pain. She groaned and screamed as she tried to force the headache on herself. She opened her eyes.

And she saw.
