Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.

Just breathe. The hologram was set at a scale small enough to be at a distance of 300 meters. The scope of her rifle zoomed in and focused on the hologram of an Alliance trooper.

The assassin was prone in the firing range, bipod deployed on her weapon and wearing casual clothing, something rare for her. Eyes and ears had protective glasses and headphones. She blinked and the scope zoomed in one last setting, the target filling up her view and focusing through her crosshair.

Inhale. Exhale. Moments like these reminded her of her winters at home and in the wilderness abroad, hunting with a simple bow. But now, her rifle stood before her, a massive beast of a weapon that would clearly be heard even through ear protection.

It was nice to have a shooting range. Practicing only improved her spirits and her aim, something that had been lacking recently. This let her unwind. Enjoy her art.

She exhaled one final time and squeezed the trigger, her rifle kicking back only slightly as the hologram vanished. Hit.

Her rifle cycled and vented, and she turned on the safety before standing up for a break. As of now she was alone here, nothing and nobody to bother her. It was nice. But it wouldn't last, she was sure.

Strolling into the range to practice his quick draw, Leandros paid no mind to the Blade as he sets up. Stepping into to a narrow lane in the range, He turned his back on the three slowly building holograms. As soon as the projections completely solidified, Leandros spin around while drawing his two SP-30 silenced pistols and quickly dispatched the three faux hostiles with extreme percision. Smiling at his time, Leandros look over to to the Blade and nods as sign of greetings. Holstering his pistols, He steps over to the hired assassin turned boyguard. "Hello there. I see your honing your eye as well. Need any pointers?" Leandros spoke in his normal sarcastic tone as he steps over to a table to clean each of his pistols.

"Hello there. I see your honing your eye as well. Need any pointers?"

Avlin turned her head and put the headphones around her neck, taking off her glasses. She forced a smile and replied with some wit, something she picked up on as funny to people like him.

"Do you?"

Leandros chucked at the Blades retort and responded, "am I that bad?" His chuckling slowly turned to a stifled giggle after noticing the glasses. "Tell me, do you need those glasses? I'm only curious and knowing that an assassin needs glasses is extremely funny to me." The spy spoke as he drew one of pistols and started to disassemble it for cleaning.

"Am I that bad?"

The man laughed briefly before continuing.
"Tell me, do you need those glasses? I'm only curious and knowing that an assassin needs glasses is extremely funny to me."

The assassin pulled the glasses up to eye level. All they were were simple eye protection, nothing more. The man was probably joking and she treated his phrase as such, scoffing.

"Last thing my employer needs is me to go out of business because a chunk of a wall or a chemical venting from my rifle blinded me. I'd like to keep my eyesight. This has a bit more punch than your fancy pistols."

Avlin watched as he disassembled a pistol for maintenance and decided to fire a couple more shots before doing the same. She lifted the rifle up and stood in a kneeling position, holding the rifle without any support. Her holographic target popped up again, except this time it was moving, slowly but still a hard target to hit. She slowed her breathing and fired again, the bolt hitting the hologram and making it dissipate.

The assassin would do this again from a standing position and then sat down in front of a small table, venting her rifle and slowly taking it apart.

The remark of his fancy pistols amuses Leandros along with the statement of facts only tickle the spy's funny bone. He watched her fire off the remaining rounds from her sniper rifle. He wondered why the assassin never seemed to smile or have a good time. He decided to inquire about it, "tell me Alvin, what do you do to have a good time? Besides killing people of course." He asked as he finished cleaning his second pistol.

"Tell me Alvin, what do you do to have a good time? Besides killing people of course."

Avlin stopped cleaning the energy cell in her weapon long enough to look up, still facing the wall. The man was very inquirous, it seemed. Not that such a thing was bad for hired assassins like them, or so she had assumed he was. Not everyone here was in the Naboo Security Force. She sighed and replied.

"I draw for my next kill. And the next. And the next. Something you might call boring. And it's Avlin."
