Hey there,

I'm making a SpecForce character, and would like to form a squad of player characters so that we could do missions and stuff. I had my eye on the 4th regiment but that seems to be a grave yard, so at this point it doesn't really matter to me which regiment I go with, so long as it has active players in it.

So, who would be down? Any Lt's out there needing a sergeant to boss around? Any sergeants who want a private? Some lonely privates out there who'd like some company(nohomo)?

I feel like if we could get just one full strength or near full strength squad of PC's together, the faction might finally get some popularity. So, if you're interested, post in here saying as much, and state which regiment you're in.

I've got a Private in the 1st Regiment[who's also training to be a Jedi Knight] and I would be down for stuff like that. I think there's a couple GA mission that don't need NPCers, so we could jump into something immediately.

I'm a Lieutenant in 1st Regiment and would be glad to be a part of this. I'm working with Damien right now to try to set up a pretty risky mission if either of you would want in. Just shoot me a PM.

I'd say you don't need to wait for people to absolutely fill in spots. As far as I've seen, a lot of the teams are on an ad hoc basis. We can have a small core group which then gets augmented as need be.

You're right. If need be, we can always temporarily fill slots with NPC's, anyway.

Seraphim, as hot shot said, we are horizontally laid back when ti comes to 'squads' and we piece 'em together on a mission basis. Simply because it only takes one person to go on a week long road trip to ruin an RP for everyone. Or if someone leaves or mysteriously vanishes.

Best way to flog it is to RP with as many people as you can, that way you build up an IC network of potential squad mates.

Are people from different regiments allowed to squad up with each other?

Absolutely.

Think of a regiment as a group of people who have training in similar fields.
Technically its the improper use of the word 'regiment', but thats not the point.

I've had my character, Terrsyn Pearot, team up with the 3rd Regiment Infiltrators on several occasions. Usually as 'security' or 'firepower'.
