It's basically guaranteed now.

Empire
Sith Warrior
Bounty Hunter
Imperial Intelligence Operative (aka "Operative" is my guess)
Unannounced

Republic
Jedi Knight
Smuggler
Trooper
Unannounced

This was my first thought aswell.

The majority of the people on the TOR forums always did think they'd introduce some sort of sneaky stealth class, perhaps this will be their answer.

Also now we don't know who the mandalore is? Seems really strange that they introduce him and then get rid of him two videos afterwards.

Also I'm a little confused about the order of the timeline, I thought the holonet was doing the dates backwards?

They are. The story of the Mandalore rising in the gladiator arena was already told. This one covered the how and why.

The first blank timeline says:

''Force 'Discovered' On Tython''.

But they're doing it from right to left, the most recent event in the timeline being the treay of coruscant.

They introduced the New Mandalore earlier on, meaning he was alive later in the timeline. But in this most recent video about earlier in the history of the republic it says he was killed.

I'm probably not making sense, but it confused me a little. Hard to explain.

I think I know what you're saying, but I wouldn't look in to it. They were just explaining two different events happening at the same time (rise of Mandalore and the Imperial involvement with the Mandalorians).

It shouldn't be confusing. The Jedi chronicling the events of the past is in the present. This means he is capable of making comments based on the past, that may have taken place later, or comment on the present (which was what he was doing when talking about this Mandalore being replaced). I don't understand what's so hard to figure out.

Thats what had me confused a little bit, he made alot more comments about the present then in previous timeline videos, so it threw me off a little.

Regardless I wonder were they would make the announcement for the Operative class, to my knowledge there aren't any big gaming events coming up and thats were they've done most of their announcements for classes so far.

They haven't really been announcing classes at game shows though. They just show footage of the classes that were already revealed. At E3, they announced the Smuggler, sure, but we all already knew about it. They just recently "announced" the Sith Warrior, but the E3 demo already showcased that class.

BioWare could reveal any class they wanted to today, even. It could be a surprise! PAX announcement.

Ah yes, I didn't think of PAX.

But you know what I mean, they reveal a little of the classes and then they just make it officail at a gaming event. I'm expecting it pretty soon, now that they've dropped the Operative into our laps.

Sorry for the double post but im having a little trouble with the SWTOR website and was wondering if someone could help me out.

Everytime I visit the website i'm linked to this page:

But as you can see every time I agree to the terms of service it gives me the error message. I can't leave the page at all, no matter what I click on so the entire website is blocked off for me.

Can anyone help?

quite a few people have been criticising the graphics of this game.

I have to agree. Just because its an MMO doesnt mean that it should have outdated graphics inorder to appeal to a mass market crowd.

Heres an example of a console / pc version of upcoming MMO with superior graphics.

From the makers of EvE-Online, CCP Games.... I give you Dust 514.

Sorry for the poor quality video, but they havnt really released a trailer yet.
The first 1 minute 24 seconds show the ingame footage.

I watched a Developer input video on the SWTOR site awhile detailing that the reason they've chosen to go with what they're calling ''Stylized Realism'', is because they want their game to be timeless.

They realised that as games all look more and more like reality, they all start to look the same. So they chose to emphasise colours and stylized effects rather then realisitc characters.

I don't really care either way though tbh.

I agree, the look that they decided to go with will make it stand out. And in truth I would prefer a game that didn't look like real-life. It keeps fantasy, fantasy imo

Nice to be back, and thank you Hero
<------- Used to be Loki.

Anywho back to topic. Watched the trooper footage and it looked pretty freaking cool. Seeing the footage of various classes makes me think of a possible issue. Is it possible for Jedi/Sith classes to be balanced with the other ones? This is from a PVP stand point.

It could work if done properly. But to be honest, in a straight fight it should be rather difficult for a trooper/hunter to defeat a jedi/sith of the same level.

But with every MMO or RP for that matter, the build is what really matters
