I was wondering if it would be possible to have an independant bounty board in the next timeline. The Hutts have their own, the rebellion kind of has one and I'm pretty sure the Imperials have one too, but I was just wondering why there wasn't an unaffiliated list of bounties that anyone could use, but primarily for Indie characters. Realistically there would be bounties open to any and all factions and factionless characters out there. At the same time however, it makes sense that the Hutts and respective factions would have their own that is more suited to their interests.
Obviously I know someone would have to keep track of such a board if it did exist and I understand if none of the admins want to do that, but it was just an idea I had that could help improve the next timeline since there dosen't seem to be a whole lot for Indie characters to do without coming up with everything on their own. Another aspect of having such a board is that if there was a few bounties revolving around a gang in a particular sector, then that opens up multiple paths and ideas for RPs. Having such a bounty board would also give Indie characters the chance to meet each other and work together, or against one another.
I know technically any two (or more) characters could just meet up somewhere if the players wanted them two, but not everyone is good at or enjoys coming up with ideas for such threads and even if they didn't want to go after a bounty, having such a bounty board would also be useful in making the galaxy feel more realistic and lived in, as well as giving information on what sort of people and things could be found. For instance if there was a trader that wanted to hire a bounty hunter/mercenary to protect them as they traveled with their cargo transport from one planet to the next, it lets players know that there are pirates in the area, as well as cargo transports ripe for the picking.
Again, I know technically all of this can be done on its own without such a board, but it would be a relatively easy thing to do and it would make the RP process easier. As a bonus, it would also allow players to submit their ideas and both those ideas as well as what players are going for within the boards would also show FLs and AFLs (I think those are the right titles) what not only their faction's members want to do but also what other players want to do.
Thanks for the consideration and time you've spent reading this, I appreciate it.
