Rayne flicked a death stick, she'd arrived twenty minutes early to the meeting. Her and some anonymous source had decided to team up and take down some spice runners that had been hiding out in a warehouse in one of the more shitty districts of one of the more shitty planets in all the galaxy. Worst of the worst.. Rayne whispered to herself.

Sitting quietly on the rooftop of a building next to the alleyway their were meeting in, Rayne lit another death stick, Gods dam I need to quit these things.. Rayne said to herself, she was probably right, she had some time to kill till her contact showed, and decided to flick out her Personal Entertainment Attendant, as it played some time killing music and allowed her to surf the holonet, mostly looking at naked images of various colored Twi'lek girls, humans had some extremely pretty girls in their species, but the Twi'leks, at least in Rayne's opinion, were usually a little bit more on the... adventurous side.

Rayne was currently scanning a relatively racy image when someone walked into the edge of the alleyway, closing the holonet surf, Rayne called out to the person below, Nice night we're having eh? She said, her hand on her blaster pistol. Who knew if this was even the person she was waiting for, but figured it'd be beat to be prepared anyway, she was about fifteen or so feet off the ground, so unless whoever it was had a blaster, she didn't have much to worry about.

THEME

Astridia double checked the time on her watch and stepped through another city block. Nar Shaddaa...again. This time she wasn't here for an assignment. More of a personal decision. Civilian clothes sat atop her frame instead of her fatigues. An improvement from last time that hopefully wouldn't get her into the same bit of trouble as her uniform had. She stopped and turned on her heel, gliding into the alley where she was supposed to meet...someone. A secure holonet call. Astrid had been looking to make friends...and get some payback for her bruised and sore ribs from last time around. A voice came from above and the woman stopped in her tracks, extending her arms slowly from her body, jacket opening up to match her movement while she turned to face the voice.

Her blaster sat in a shoulder holster under the jacket. She scanned higher and higher on the building till she found a silhouette staring down from above. The voice told her it was a girl. The blaster on her hip was prominent enough as well. Astrid reached toward her head to brush a strand of hair over an ear while she thought of something to say. Nobody else was in the alley, so this was likely her contact. Unless she'd been tricked and was about to get a sedative dart in her neck. Either way, that blaster under her jacket wasn't going to be very useful, especially since she didn't have the drop on whoever this was. Her mouth opened slightly as she spoke, choosing to avoid the extreme clip of Imperial Basic.

"Are you who I'm looking for?"

The slender frame of the person walking through the alleyway had been distorted by it's jacket, but the voice, as lovely as it was, told Rayne it was a girl, and better yet, based solely on it's response, was probably also her contact. Rayne would need a closer look, so using her free hand she gripped the ledge and jumped down, landing smoothly on the ground below, her heavy boots giving a nice thud as she did so. Rayne approached the girl confidently, her blaster pistol in hand, but not raised.

She was pretty, beautiful even. But Rayne was better looking, and she knew it, and she dam better have been, as a shape shifter she had the ability to look any way she wanted, and she wanted to be beautiful so that she did. She'd spent countless hours in front of a mirror editing the shape, size, and color of nearly every aspect of the human body she wore, until it was perfect, and she still did so on occasion. Still though, Rayne couldn't help but to think This is exactly the type the girl I like to meet in dark alleys.. as she drew even closer until they were within hand to hand striking range.

Vanity, and lust aside, Rayne figured she should say something before she starting drooling over the poor girl, I think I might be exactly who you are looking for.. with a wink and a smile, again this smile had been worked on for hours, and was perfectly radiant when she did so, and the lustful way she said the words would have been hard to miss. Rayne.. she said her first name, as that was all of the information about herself she had passed over the secure line that the two had communicated over, and holstered her blaster so as to extend the now freed hand to shake the girl's, I believe we may have a mutual hatred for a specific grouping of spice haulers? She posed it more as a question than a statement.

Even having moved the conversation on to more appropriately business topics, Rayne was still quite obviously admiring the girls physical aspects, even while she continued to engage in the conversation.

The woman who sat perched on the rooftop above was now on the ground, taking a rather unpleasant-looking fall before approaching, getting a bit closer with a blaster in hand than Astridia would have particularly liked. She took a half step back in a more guarded stance while the woman revealed herself. An unbelievably pretty face surrounded by blonde hair and a look in her eyes that sent a few shivers down Astrid's spine. A practiced smile followed the gleam in her eyes while she spoke. Astrid cleared her throat while the woman introduced herself as Rayne and put away her blaster to shake hands. The Imperial looked down at the hand before smiling herself, returning the gesture with her own hand.

A..Astrid. And yes, I agree, Rayne."

Astridia shifted uncomfortably as her supposed partner scanned her intently. Maybe encrypted calls with random people about personal inquiries into crime syndicates wasn't the smartest. This woman is looking at me as though she's about to buy a new speeder..I'd best be a bit careful. She let her hand fall to her side, taking another step back as she glanced to either side of the alleyway. Then back up to the rooftop.

"Uh..How long have you been waiting?"

Rayne took a moment to appriciate Astrid's soft skin in her hand, the girls smell now wafting toward her nostrils. Breathing in deeply, Rayne could seperate the sweet smell of this girl versus the terrible stink of the planet they were. Delicious... Rayne thought, images of the girl in front of her without clothing flashing through her mind for a moment before responding to the girl's inquiry...

Oh not long, I got here a bit early just in case.. checking her own time piece, Rayne noticed so did Astrid, then added, We're about six blocks away, if you wanna walk and talk? Rayne asked, extending a hand in both directions, one down the alleyway, and one toward the girl, just in case she wanted to hold hands again, her smile, beautiful as ever had returned to her lips, this girl had probably faced predators before, but Rayne was sure none of them were like she was..

Astridia took note of how Rayne held her hand for a little bit too long to not be awkward. The look she was giving wasn't exactly reassuring, either. Every instinct she'd picked up from her experience as an Imperial agent told her this chick was fishy. Then again...she wasn't an agent for this job. Secret's safe with me..as long as your secret doesn't involve shackles and an overuse of spice. Her eyes narrowed slightly as the woman went to exit the alley, holding out her hand as though they were more than just acquaintances. If that was even appropriate.

Rayne smiled again, but this time Astrid kept a straight face while she walked past. Six blocks. Walk and talk. Brilliant. She snuck a hand under her jacket and powered on her pistol. As far as she knew, they'd be working together. Until the shooting started, though, she would prefer to stay on her toes. Her eyes glanced back and met Rayne's once more, Astrid blinking and slowing down so she could catch up. The silence was uncomfortable, and she hated the woman at her back.

"So what are we dealing with?"

Rayne's prey had walked right in front of her, a view she would not soon forget, also Rayne noticed her own hand had gone unfilled, a mannerism she planned to change about the girl.

When Astrid had asked what they were about to be up against, it was like a flip had switched, and suddenly Rayne's tempurment changed from pleasure, to business. I didn't do any real measurable recon, but I did do a walk by the place, Rayne started, ...and judging by the amount of noise coming from the inside of that there warehouse, I'd guess we're looking at a hell of a lot more than a skeleton crew.. lucky for us.. Rayne said before pausing, ...half of the noise was some loud music, so I'm guessing half of them are also caked off their asses in there as well.. She finished waiting for Astrid torespond.

The pair of dangerous girls had come to within two blocks of the warehouse, and the upper windows of the place could be seen illuminated with two or three swirling colors at the same time, Rayne wondered if maybe they were also running some sort of underground night club? Or if maybe the thugs had just had a really good haul, and were celebrating or something. Whatever the case, they wouldn't know until they got inside, and with that thought, Rayne lit a death stick, and with a long drag, asked Astrid, What do you think?

Astridia felt the hairs standing up on the back of her neck. Maybe it wasn't smart to take the lead. Good thing she had let Rayne catch up. But it seemed like she'd changed gears--at least for now. Her tone was less lustful, less hungry. It made Astrid feel just a little bit better as they approached the warehouse and her partner lit another deathstick. Bloody hell...how many more before you turn into a complete muppet? She eyed the burning object in the woman's hands and accidentally looked a bit too long at her chest, blinking as the girl asked about any plans.

Astrid shrugged.
"Well, I suppose we could knock. Act like a few, uh, ladies of the night. Or we could sneak in from up too. Or just steal explosives and level the place as the fumes from the spice make us high. I dunno, I normally am not stuck with one person staring too long at my ass."

Not that it was unwelcome, just unusual given the context. She looked at the deathstick and grabbed the other end of it, taking it out of (or trying to) Rayne's hand to have a drag of it. Astrid didn't do spice--nor was it the smartest to begin investing in drug use--but she thought it best to esrn some measure of respect, else the night would be rather...predatory. She handed the stick back and rose an eyebrow.

"I'm not exactly in my element here. More of an armorclad type than an action hero."

Rayne thought for a moment about the explosives idea, it wasn't a bad idea, and she'd been called out on her eye banging of the girl, perhaps she'd been going about this all wrong, Astrid after all wasnt just another girl in a bar, she was a woman of class, and a warrior, much like Rayne. And Rayne knew the way to win over a warrior was to been seen in battle, and simply leveling the building to the ground wouldn't actually get Rayne any closer to the girl's undergarments, although she did quite like the idea of standing idly by as the spice got the two of them high, and then she was side tracked by the thought of what would happen if the two of them were blitzed together...

Uh.. yea.. sorry bout that.. Rayne said, she wasn't sorry she'd done it, but was slightly apologetic that she had made the girl uncomfortable..

The girl had made an advance on her, stealing her death stick, which Rayne of course let her have, Interesting.. Rayne thought. It wasn't that death sticks were like high level drugs, as a matter of fact they were pretty much the lowest level hallucinogen on the underground markets, and even though they were illegal in most parts of the galaxy, just about everyone looked the other way when you pulled one out, but still the mere fact that it happened, made Rayne a bit more relaxed about her partner, who had up until this point been holding tightly onto what Rayne assumed was a shoulder holstered blaster, but could have just been a large knife or something of the like.

The girl had spoken right to Rayne's heart, though her mandalorian clan was more of the gorrelia warfare type, she was still a mandalorian, well at least at heart. Here, I have an idea.. Rayne started Your ladies of the night one is a good start, we can get in, scope the place out and then meet back up in a bathroom or outside and further discuss the best way to go about this, if they are hosting a party then civilian casualties become an issue, I'm not adverse to taking a few civilians out, as most of the ones present are probably not the nicest people anyway, but they may have brought dates that don't deserve to die just because of their poor choice in a mate.. Rayne finished. She had thought it was a good plan, and was excited to see what her partner thought of it. But once the shots start flying, you can bet we'll learn who's bad, and who's not.. Rayne added.

Astridia shrugged and chuckled lightly while Rayne apologized for her observations. She found it hard to believe that the woman was genuinely sorry for anything she'd done. Then again, she was always terrible at reading people. As for the death stick, light narcotic or not, Astrid had never invested in anything of the sort. Imperial regulations and her image of 'goody two-shoes Kazaczecho' tended to warrant bans from that, both official and personal. She coughed as the taste of the drug finally registered, swallowing in an attempt to be rid of it while Rayne contemplated her plan. The Imperial spoke beforehand.

"Can't say I'm used to it, but, uh...I don't know where I'm going with this. Nevermind."

She held a stare for a bit too long while Rayne accepted her plan, one of the ideas that Astrid rather disfavored. She nodded, already trying to think how she could possibly pull off that persona. Non-combatants were an issue at the same time, but then again they only had pistols and looks. The bathroom meet up rose some questions. That issue would be raised when they got there, though. She smiled and nodded. Her tone was filled with the best impression of who they'd be posing as that she could offer.

"Lead the way then, Rayne. This time."

After Astrid had stared at her for a while, something Rayne wasn't unhappy about, Rayne registered what she said, and as they walked Rayne stopped and grabbed the girl's hand, or attempted to, to make her stop walking and stared her right in the eye with a questioning look, Wait... Have you... Have you never been to a party before? Rayne was dumbfounded, the girl was definately party level pretty, and this information was world shaking.

While Rayne looked into her eyes she saw something, Oh my gods.. she said, You're high? You only hit it like once... She said with a laugh. Rayne had said it with a laugh, but she was actually kind of jealous, she hadn't gotten any intense high from the stuff in years. Sure she had some streaking of lights, and sometimes some distortion of people's faces, but not often on the last one, usually she just had a slight body high.

Here, drink this.. Rayne said as she pulled a cantine from her jacket pocket. It was champagne, Rayne's favorite drink, though she hadn't told the girl what it was.

If you're not comfortable coming inside, you can go up on the roof and look in the from windows and I'll go inside, a top and bottom look if you know what I mean.. she said with a wink. The suggestion was tactically sound, with only a hint of sexual overtone, that hopefully wouldn't be missed by the girl's intoxication.

Astridia blinked, her stare a bit more glazed than usual as Rayne asked if she'd ever been to a party. She scoffed, rolling her eyes in a teenager-style show of irritation. Of course she'd been to parties before. More posh and high-class than this, surely, but they were pretty much the same. Different subject matter of discussions--gladly, less politics--and different mannerisms. She then pursed her lips while Rayne called out her bit of drowsiness. She wasn't that kriffed. Just a little lightheaded...and with a very sudden urge to have a stupid smile on her face.

I'm fine. And of COURSE I've been to a party before..except with fancy dresses and kriffin' formal stuff..."

Astrid laughed with the blonde, somehow not quite understanding what was so funny in the back of her mind as Rayne pulled out something to drink. Water, awesome. Maybe she'd focus a bit better after something pure went through her system. That was a thing, right? She took a long swig of the 'water', realizing that it tasted odd yet familiar. Of course she'd had champagne before. The back of her mind suggested a theory, but she dismissed it. Astrid passed back the canteen and leaned on the other woman slightly for balance, not realizing her hand was attached to Rayne's. She shook her head while the blonde suggested she hang back a bit.

"Come on...I can handle a few spicers. You don't doubt me that much?"

She smiled back, biting her lip slightly to hide the smile, realizing she was overstepping a bit. Maybe that wasn't water in the canteen after all.

Rayne had already given the girl the appraisal of being higher class, but her explanation of the parts she'd attended only alluded to an even higher level of class than she'd expected.

After she took the drink, and handed back the cantine, Astrid leaned into her. Rayne laughed on the inside at the light weight girl, until she realized the hand the cantine had been in, was now holding her own.

Intense eye contact was happening, then the girl asked if Rayne had doubted her, right before biting her lip...

Rayne kept a tighter grip on the girl's right hand with her own left, she had guessed the girl was right handed by the way she was hugging that blaster earlier, and used her own right hand to lift the girl's chin as Rayne pressed her lips against the girl's. Warranted or not, this was happening.

The girls left hand had been left free, but Rayne restrained her right, so that if she fought back it would only be with a punch, not a blaster bolt to the chest. Not that Rayne would stop her from fighting back, or keep her held there for long, just long enough to make it matter.

Finally, assuming Astrid didn't push her off, Rayne would pull back saying, I don't doubt you at all.. I just need someone to watch my back..

And you know I'll be watching yours.. She thought.

Astridia had no time to react in her current state with her hand now in an iron grip and off balance. A part of her mind yelled at her for instigating this, but the other half was reminding her how drunk she was and how little she had invested in any kind of narcotic. Then the lips came, and it took her a second to realize that Rayne was currently trying to pull a sneaky with the thing sitting behind her teeth. Astrid brought herself into action and pushed the woman by the center of the chest, weakly but enough that she did eventually pull away on her own volition. She released her free hand and wiped her mouth, raising an eyebrow at the surprising (or not really surprising) action.

"Well, now that your tongue almost got shoved down my throat, I'd say that your show of faith is rather exceeding expectations. I think I'm sober now, thank you."

Even then, Astrid tried to hide a smile, grimacing while she attempted to wrestle her gripped hans free so that they could get going. Oh yeah...there was a job we had to do...time to get moving. Astrid would then begin to walk for the warehouse, regaining her balance and her bearings (more or less) while her mental state returned to some semblance of professionalism.

It took Rayne a second, but she gave up the girls hand. And barely any violence had been used when she pulled away, That's a good sign.. Rayne thought as the flavor of Astrid was savored.

After the girl's spiel, Rayne softly said, Most of me.. exceeds expectations.. she'd said it quietly, but due to the distance there was still a chance Astrid had heard it.

As Astrid began to storm away, a smidge of anger surging off of her that Rayne could tell was likely feigned. I hate to see you go.. Rayne's thoughts began... But gods I love watching you go.. her brain finished.

She was right though, there was work to do, and Rayne could finish what she had started after they were done working.

Rayne caught up, her working face back on as they approached the front door of the warehouse. Rayne looked over her partner once more, not in a lustful way this time, but more to ensure she was level headed and ready for this mess of a job they'd given themselves.

The lights and music could be heard within.

Rayne banged on the door, and a strangely beefy looking Weequay pushed it open a moment later, the grouping within became visible for a moment, and Rayne could see a couple dozen just in the view, before he exited and stood in front of the closing door. Clearly there was indeed some sort of party, or rave going on.

Yea? It said, less than welcomingly

Rayne ran a single finger through her hair, You gonna let a couple of girls in? She said, her practiced, perfect smile shining radiantly. Rayne had been playing all the correct body language, the weequay, as all men usually did, fell right into the trap, and held the door open as the girls walked past him.

Astridia decided not to think about what she thought she heard Rayne say as she caught up after a brief pause. Likely getting another good view or savoring her little meal. Ew. The Imperial rubber her eyes with a hand and attempted to clear the fuzz in her thoughts a bit, bringing herself into focus while nodding to her partner. The blonde banged on the door revealing a rather built Weequay, who in turn let them in rather quickly given Rayne's ability to act. Step one. Easy. She followed her partner inside.

Now things got complicated.
"Ladies first, love."

She smirked, staring into the room before them, which smelled strongly of sweat, spice, dance, and drink. All were less than ideal for her current predicament of intoxication. Right. Just like a formal party, but less formal and more wild. Simple, right? She tucked her jacket over her shirt and brushed aside some hair over an ear. Her blaster presses reassuringly against her chest.

Rayne felt she was likely wrongly dressed, she was attending a party, and her armor made her feel like she'd be out of place, but fortunately for her, and her partner there were several of the party goers in armor, there were also tons of girls scantily clad, to which Rayne tried to pay very little attention, more to impress Astrid, and trying to give her the appearance that maybe there was something special about specifically her, than just any random girl.

Rayne was making notes of every visible firearm she could see while the pair made their way through the crowd to the bar. She wasn't happy about the fact that she'd seen more than a dozen small side arms, but was just glad she hadn't seen any heavier weaponry than that, as it would probably throw a wrench in their plans if someone was carrying heavy duty explosive ordinance.

Reaching the bar, Rayne nodded to Astrid in the direction of what appeared to be a jury rigged style of a V. I. P. area. She then turned to the bartender and ordered two drinks.

After a moment, her order had been filled and she handed one of the glasses to Astrid, Hope you like brandy.. right before taking a nice, crisp drink of her own.

Rayne saw someone down on the end of the bar pouring a small pile of what looked like KIK Dust onto the back of their hand before licking it. Rayne swallowed hard, that was her favorite, but it was also a little hard core, and she got the sense that Astrid had probably never even spoken with anyone who'd ever even seen it.

Resisting the urge to tackle the man and eat all his KIK Dust, Rayne started to make her way toward that V. I. P. area. She had a bit of a plan that she was working on formulating while she walked over, it would take some guile, and maybe some heavy flirtation, but she had a plan... well kind of..

Astridia stared at the crowd for a few moments, blanking out before regaining her pace with Rayne, logging anything that could be used to defend herself or get her hurt that she could see. Beer bottles...vibroknives, sharp-edged armor and accessories...these people mean business. Mostly the room seemed to be packing sidearms. Similar to her. Nothing that would punch a hole in a wall (or her), but enough to warrant worry. Her hands tightened and unclenched before she realized that her partner was grabbing a pair of drinks.

Astrid found brandy in her hands and she looked at it before grimacing. Fighting drunk wouldn't be smart, nor even a little tipsy. Evidently this woman hadn't understood that she had a low tolerance for drink and spice. She inhaled before casually setting the glass of brandy next to an unconscious man, catching up once more. She saw at least one person using drugs in open view. In fact, Astrid had heard of and seen KIK Dust a few times on underground circuits during a couple of raids. She may have been an Agent, but the majority of her career had been in the Frontier Worlds and Mid Rim. She made a note to think about logging this to the Republica.

They were headed toward a VIP area and she moved on from the spicers getting their fix, taking note of Rayne's interest in the stuff. Maybe you're more intoxicated than I realize. Why exactly are we moving toward likely some of the most dangerous people in this room? Astrid readjusted her jacket while they approached, suddenly very wary of what was going on.

Rayne walked toward the V. I. P. Area, mostly just to get a glance of how many were there, and if they had some sort of out of the ordinary armament with them. She was glad to see, they didn't, and gave Astrid a relieved nod, not sure if she'd understand what the nod meant. Rayne didn't usually spend this much time walking around the people she was about to kill, but then again, this was more of a special case.

Believing she'd seen enough, Rayne started walking for the bathroom so the girls could discuss a plan, and share what they'd seen. The bathroom was a bit repulsive, and luckily empty. Rayne closed the door behind Astrid, and drew the bolt before looking around, under the toilets and on the ceiling. Sometimes.. Gross places like these put cameras in their girls bathrooms.. Rayne informed Astrid, to let her know what she was doing, more to just ensure her she hadn't gone crazy.

Once she was satisfied the bathroom was camera free, which was almost a little surprising, Rayne got close to Astrid. She may have thought Rayne was coming in for some more groping, but Rayne was really just closing the distance so they didn't need to speak loudly, in case a hidden recording device was in the room somewhere, it was unlikely but Rayne didn't wanna take the chance.

Aside from the more than a dozen side arms on the party goers, I didn't see much. Except that repeater behind the bar... Even the V. I. P. area looked a little bare of weapons.. Rayne said to her partner, They've really let their guard down tonight.. Rayne added and laughed a bit, I bet even an imperial could take this place down.. She said with a smile, revealing her low opinion of imperials.

Astridia looked around and checked her blaster, taking it out of her holster and checking the charge while Rayne concluded that it was safe for them to do so. She immediately tucked her blaster away once again, making a half step backward while the blondie spoke in a low voice. All business now. Good. She wiped some more weariness from her eyes, realizing the jab sent toward the Republica wasn't intentional. Rayne had no idea that she was an Imperial. Kind of surprising considering how she'd acted. Then again, maybe it was intentional. Hell. She didn't care much. As long as she wasn't going to get shot in the back.

"Then I'm rather glad to take up that challenge. I'll be missing my armor and a good squad, but you'll do."

Astrid winked and looked toward the door, reaching for her pistol again. Sooner or later it'd be time to crash the party. And if things got intense, she could always call for backup from some of her buddies.
